Our Story
About DeLights of God The name DeLights of God is a youthful style naming convention from the phrase “The Lights of God”. We stand to believe that God has called the young people of this generation to light in every aspect of life. The fellowship was founded in 2007 with the aim of reaching out to the youth and empowering them for ministry so that we can fulfill our mandate Matthew 28:18. Overtime the fellowship has grown into a ministry that has impacted people outside the confines of the fellowship with expanse in the rural communities around the country. Our Motto In His WAY, In His TRUTH, In HIS LIFE We get this from the scripture John 14:6 “I am the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE. No one comes to the father except through me” We believe in order for us to find the meaning of life we need to be in the way, in the truth and in the life of the Lord Jesus! Our Vision “We are DeLights of God, called by His name, chosen for His purpose, to carry the non- extinguishable life giving light across all generations.” Our Mission “To holistically empower individuals to live for Christ” Our Objectives 1. To be individuals lifting up the name of Jesus in every sphere of influence. 2. To form a godly Christian network all over the globe. 3. To promote open accountable relationships that lead to godly marriages. 4. To empower and promote livelihood among members

What we do In summary what we do is categorized generally as; In-reach These are activities that benefit members of the fellowship Building Christian self-esteem (knowing who you are in God) Building a social Christian network Growing the spiritual lives of individuals through fellowship, prayer and studying the word of God Building relationships by putting emphasis on marital related godly relationships. Equipping individuals with Christian work ethics Modelling Christian morals among individuals especially among young adults Out reach These are activities DeLights of God extends to communities Evangelism (door to door, crusade) Community outreach School outreach Mentorship and empowerment programs Mode of operation DeLights of God calendar is categorized by monthly events and annual events.
