A call for "NZIMBA KLEZIA YANGE" Our Lady of Fatima-Mubende Parish. We are all invited to contribute in different capacities and as individuals. GOD BLESS
The Church Building Project (CBP) is to assist in planning to have the completion of the new Church successful. 1 Corinthians 12:14-26 New International Version (NIV) 14 Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many. 15 Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? 18 But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. 19 If they were all one part, where would the body be? 20 As it is, there are many parts, but one body. 21 The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” 22 On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23 and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, 24 while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, 25 so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. 26 If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.

Today is the Memoria of St. Charles Lwanga and His Companions.
ST. CHARLES LWANGA
He was a Muganda, born in 1861 at Birinzi in Buddu County. He was the head of Kabaka Mwanga's pages working in the court of great audience hall and a great wrestler yet with exceptional leadership skills.
He was baptized on the 15th of November 1885 by Fr. Girault and during the Christian persecution, Charles displayed unshakable faith and exceptional Christian bravery in whom the Christian martyrdom was centred.
To punish him, Ssenkoole, the assistant chief executioner separated him from the other Christians and was burnt in a slow fire from feet to the head, on Thursday, 3rd of June 1886 at Namugongo Busaale towards noon. His martyrdom site is the spot where the altar of the Uganda Martyrs Shrine currently stands. Charles died at the age of 25
St CHARLES LWANGA IS THE PATRON OF THE AFRICA YOUTH AND OF CATHOLIC ACTION.
TULAMAGE NA BALAMAZI
Inspired by the Holy Martyrs of Uganda the “Tulamage Na Balamazi” initiative is to guarantee safety through providing reflector jackets to foot pilgrims.
Pilgrimage (Okulamaga) a journey, especially a long one, made to some sacred place as an act of religious devotion: is more than the place. It is about the grace, a special grace, custom-designed for each pilgrim (Omulamazi) by the Holy Spirit, imparted in God’s perfect time. This is the greatest reason to listen for and respond to God’s call to pilgrimage.
An initiative and a brain child of Crystal Graphics’ Team Leader Mr. Balikuddembe Yozefu Ssekanjakko who got his name from the first Catholic Ugandan Martyr St. Joseph Mukasa Balikuddembe who was martyred on 15th November 1885 “TULAMAGE NA BALAMAZI” TNB focuses on safety first.
The faithful who make it a routine to visit the holy sites and spiritual centers throughout the year across the country on foot are exposed to heavy motor vehicle traffic along the highways. This hinders their safety on the road.
In an effort to keep the foot pilgrim (Omulamazi) safe The “TULAMAGE NA BALAMAZI” initiative has an obligation of providing a reflector jacket to each of the pilgrims at Ugx 5,500 only.
When you buy the reflector jacket you will have joined the safe pilgrim (Omulamazi) on the pilgrimage “TULAMAGE NA BALAMAZI”
Hebrews 11:1-40 ESV /
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
