To you Pastor Micah Rwothumio, Mama Grace Rwothumio, May the Lord give you all the wisdom to deal with all that is happening right now!!! May He mourn with you and bring comfort He alone can give.
As you deal with the loss of your two fellow leaders, may He grant you peace, be Strong!
"Romans 8:28-29(KJV)
*And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren."*

God called for us His purpose. He envisioned us before our creation & made us to be conformed to the image of His Son (having His very life & glorious likeness and nature) so that He could be the firstborn among many brethren.
God has called us by the gospel of grace & by it He has brought life & immortality to light. The gospel calls us to receive eternal life. Jesus came that we might have life & have it more abundantly. Eternal life isn't eternal time but God's state of being. His very life
Many times I feel I should constantly emphasize it to believers that we've been called unto God's very life, to live the God-life. The life that even the powers of hell can't prevail against. A rich life, overflowing with the anointing of the Spirit, sparkling in glory, full of joy, peace & righteousness.
Lack is the most defining thought of the human fallen life(Adamic) & everything they do is to be filled. God has never lacked; His life is full in everyway. He's not struggling to get or become, He is & has all things thus He reveals perfection. I charge you to lay hold of eternal life to which we've been called to live. (2Ti 1:9-10 Jn 10:27-28 and *1Tim 6:12).*

~Ap.paul~
"John 3:14-15(KJV)
*And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life."*

The effect of the cross of our Lord Jesus should always be on the mind of a believer as we walk through this evil world by faith. Our Lord likened His crucifixion to that great event in Numbers 21:5-9. The children of Israel spoke against God & Moses which caused fiery serpents among them & they bit many that a great number died. When they cried unto God for help, His instruction to Moses was for him to make a bronze serpent in the likeness of the serpents that were biting them & hang it on a pole so that whosoever having been bitten, he could look upon it & live. The action of hanging on the pole was a sign of being cursed & punishment of God. The venom of the serpents could only remain effective to a man who had refused to look at the hanging bronze serpent & believed that what's troubling him God has already destroyed. Jesus in His cross, bore all our sins, curses, diseases, shame, poverty & destroyed all of them in His death together with the devil. If you look at the cross & believe that what's troubling you God has already destroyed in Jesus' cross, you live. The cross was God's thorough destruction & weakening of the devil & all evil that disturbed or could disturb man. Whatever evil is causing fear in you now, believe that God destroyed & ended it's power over you in Jesus' cross & you won't die but live in victory. (Col 2:14-15 & Heb 2:14-15).

Shalom
GOD'S LOVE

"Ephesians 1:4(KJV *): According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before* him in love:"

👉As eternal as God is, so shall we never stop talking of His love. God is love, He's loving in every way. God's love is unconditional, unearned. He doesn't love you because you're good but because He's good & able to make you good when you believe. It's only in the eyes of His love that you're holy & without blame before Him. Take away God's unconditional love & we're all sinners worthy of death but His love covers the multitude of our sins & makes us worthy of life & all blessings.
The understanding of God's kind of love & the unlimited measure that He loves us is what the devil mostly attacks in a man's understanding.
To some it's easy to have confidence that God loves them & can do anything for them when they're morally perfect according to the religious cord. However when they err in one, their confidence flees. If you fail to understand how God loves us unconditionally, you can't believe Him to be able to do anything for you, in whichever state you are in. Understanding His unconditional love & believing it makes you able to see His boundless working. If God loved you so unconditionally to the extent of saving you at the cost of His beloved Son when you were a sinner & useless to Him, how much more does He love you & is able to do for you after you've believed? O that you should always boast in God's unconditional love for you! (1Jn 4:8 & Pro 10:12).

~AP.PAUL~
BUAH KECAPI BUAH KEDODONG
"Hebrews 11:3(KJV):
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."

The first understanding that faith places on a believer's heart is that life begins & is sustained by spirit beings not physical things. Things like disease should be understood that they aren't caused by the things that scientific research & studies say. Jesus went about healing those that were oppressed by the devil (Acts 10:38).
Every kind of disease is an oppression & affliction of the devil on man. Whenever men are sick, the devil is present in the spirit to oppress them thus if handled in wisdom, it can be rebuked in Jesus' mighty name & the sick are healed. Understanding that life is more spiritual than it appears to be physical, God's word & believing in it is the best way of dealing with every life issue. The Word is spirit & life. It's alive & operative, more thorough in its working than the most sophisticated weapon. There's nothing that can't be fixed by the word because it's spirit & the only tool that deals with things after their spiritual causes. When you feel sick, the best option you should find is the word. It's able to destroy the enemy in the spirit who causes disease. For every issue of life whether in marriage or finances, have God's word as your best option to solve matters & you'll see His salvation. (Jn 6:63 & Heb 4:12)

I guess there are lots of interrupters in life. And some of them can come dressed up with the best spiritual lingo and they sway you, some, you are naturally moved to possibly help them in the name of Jesus, but underneath they are basically wolves in sheep skins... The lists are endless in God's economy.....

Life's Journey

Friday November 12th, 2021.

There are moments in life, and I guess there are actually few times that one gets to recognize the absolute hand of God in their lives. I'm talking about that undeniable reality, truth, that God has been, is, and will be with you regardless..

King David had those encounters where he went in and sat before the Lord and said, "who am I O Lord God, and what is my family that you have given me all this? For all the great things you have already done for me are nothing in comparison to what you have promised to do in the future....... What else can I say for honoring your servant? For you know your servant"
(1 Chronicles 17:16-18)

This past weekend (reason for my absence) I participated in what I can call a huge family memory lane encounter of reflection and gratitude, seeing my 'Old Mom' being given the highest honor in our traditional church setting for services rendered over the years.

In the Anglican church the title of a 'Canon' is given to a lay person who has lived well, served God's people well, it is for one who has carried himself or herself with dignity and lived absolute examplary lives in words and action, it is one who is faithful to God's word and in service.

For years, my Mom has been a huge replica of all that I have mentioned above. And so It was humbling to see six of them being honored by hundreds of people in a colorful service last Sunday.

In her sharing - my Mom told the congregation that she got married at the age of 19, she said she wanted to study so much but her traditional father had no vision for a girl child education. My mom stopped in primary 5. And on her wedding day the Father gave her a Bible as a gift stating - since you can't continue with education this Bible will help you. That was her first gift so to say in life to start her off.

My Dad was a school teacher when they got married. The following year before I arrived into the world my Mom accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior, shortly after that I was born. Mom story is one of resilience and tenacity, she said she did all kind of manual work from digging to small scale business,

My mom worked hard, and greatly supported my Dad, raised seven of us children, me being the first born, with other children about 12 of us total in number.

Mom loves God, her whole life has been God, tough disciplinarian, great in hospitality. In whatever harsh situation the community would go through, you come to our home you will always find food. Mom was instrumental in helping our village women to stand on their two feet and taught them how they can plant vegetables by the river banks in dry season a training she got from some NGO's.

I look at my Mom I see a lady with a whole school in her head and wondered what she would have been had she studied. The last twenty years I have watched her serve God tirelessly all over our region, in seminars teaching women and even men, how to live in a chaotic changing world where men are throwing all restrain, abandoning homes, and families...

I have seen her being picked on a 'boda' to go minister in all sorts of places, sometime they will hire a car to come pick her as she can't stay long on a 'boda' One thing I have seen through out her life is her consistency in service, and my Mom will never minced words - she will tell you the truth and if it's rebuke she will do it openly and boldly.

Today people come from all over to seek her counsel and for prayers, I have seen some come in their cars to seek Mom's counsel. Well, I can go on and on, So this past Sunday, our region witnessed the life and testimony of this gallant mothers - the two ladies, among four men who were honored for their faithful services. I sat there soaked it all.

Just like David declared... "Who Am I, O Lord God, and what is my family that you have brought me this far?" (1 Chronicles 17:16)

Let me wish you a blessed weekend, I may continue with the story later... But for now, let me encourage you to reflect and even assess - are there people who have made indelible mark in your life?

I can't exhaust everything about my Mom, but each day I thank God for her life, her devotion to God, and her daily prayers on our behalf... Did I mention that Mom prays literally for all her children including 'me' every day and by name?!! - she even mentions the place where we are all at. Moms prayer has kept me, and all I can say thank you Mom for giving your 'ALL' to the Lord......

Blessed Weekend,

Pastor Micah.
