Living Jesus-Living Church Ministries

If Jesus is a live, we can not have a dead church. 1 John 5:11-15 Vs 11 And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

Vs 12 He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. Glory to God that He thought through it long time ago that we shall need a savior. Time came as in John 3:16 when His love poured unto us so that we may live. Through Jesus Christ one can say " I HAVE ETERNAL LIFE". That is only true when we accept Jesus into our lives and be addicted to Him and His word as stated in the above scripture, "Whoever has the son, has the LIFE". The church is me and you. If we allow Jesus into our lives, we are assured of ETERNAL LIFE. After knowing Him, we need to make HIM known to others. It is our great commission.

Mission: :Believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life"

lifehopeandtruth.com Every good gift we have has come from God, and He wants to give us “pleasures forevermore.” In gratitude for all He does for us, what can we do to please Him?

[03/15/15]   Your heart should always be grateful whether the day was bad or good because each takes us to another level in life.

[03/11/15]   There is nothing impossible to God. Our faith is the determinant of our achievements. Try to work on your faith and see great things that are in your way.

[02/28/15]   The kingdom of God is at hand. Repent when the time is still available. Leave your wicked ways and live like Jesus.

When you determine to manifest your trust in Jesus, through your praise, he breathes into you the power of the Holy Spirit that will renew your strength. You will mount up on wings like an eagle, the wings of the Spirit, of Jesus’ life. You will run and not be weary; you will walk and not faint. Praise is energy in the spirit, and this energy is transfused into you when you praise. The blessings of Holy Spirit are a natural by-product of praising Jesus.
Jesus is the Spirit of life, and thankfulness and gratitude help chase away fear; they bring remorse to a dead end; they leap over the gorge of worry and they land in the field of peace and calm, where he dwells. They give you smooth sailing, powered by the breath of the holy Spirit.
Your spirit is a vehicle, and what it carries determines your direction as well as your destination. If you carry thankfulness and gratitude in your passenger seats, and if you power your vehicle with praise, you will eventually reach the heights of heaven, where Jesus dwells. That’s the right direction, and the right destination, and more than enough power to get you there. So get on the road to success. Get the right passengers on board. Turn the key of praise, and power up! Be a winner. Keep thankfulness and a positive attitude in your vehicle and power up with praise, and no other thought will be able to roadblock you, lest it be smashed to smithereens! Says

[02/15/15]   Why it’s Hard to Forgive

Why is it so hard for us to forgive? I think it is because we are made in God’s image and we have a deep concern for justice. Forgiveness did not come easy with God. That is what the cross of Christ is all about. Because Christ paid the penalty, then God can forgive us and still be just. How do we experience God’s forgiveness? We confess our sins and accept what Christ did for us. So, when others sin against us, forgiveness is not easy. Our sense of justice demands that they pay for their sin. We want to be reconciled, but we do not want to ignore wrongdoing. However, when they confess, we remember that God forgave us when we confessed, and we choose to forgive others. Love is always ready to forgive.

[02/13/15]   But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you.

- Luke 14:13-14a, ESV

“You become like the people you hang around.”

Oh man, I cannot tell you how many times I heard my parents caution me as a kid: Make wise choices. Be a leader. You will become like the people you hang around.

Y’all, I have spent the better part of my life being very purposeful about hanging around the right people. I have literally stepped back and asked myself, “Who do I want to become like?” and then positioned myself as closely to them as possible. Seriously, for better or worse, I chose smart, disciplined friends in high school and college. When my husband and I moved to Nashville, we picked a church congregation that we saw loved God and each other well. And, I have intentionally made friends with women who are great wives and mothers because I want to be those things, too.

It’s not a bad plan. It’s kind of a great plan—and I bet I’m not the only one whose parents trained her to live life with intention. If we’re honest, it’s likely saved us a ton of heartache along the way, right? But are we missing out on something if we only ever try to protect and improve ourselves? If we are constantly endeavoring to become something good, are we making our lives about us and missing out on something great?

You know who didn’t take my parents’ advice? Jesus.

Take a look at Christ’s social game plan in His own words from Luke 14:

“But when you are invited, go and sit in the lowest place.”

“Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled.”

“When you give a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return and you be repaid.”

“Go out quickly to the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in the poor and crippled and blind and lame.”

“Go out to the highways and hedges and compel the people to come in, that my house may be filled.”

Jesus spent a good bit of time with the people we tend to avoid. He hung out with Judgy McJudgerson, Cheatsy McStealsyoursilver and Glutton McGlutterpants. (Yep, Glutterpants.) He sat down with the people who weren’t like Him and with those who had little to offer. In short, He broke all the rules. It’s not that He wasn’t intentional, it’s just that He had different intentions.

There’s a bigger picture here. Bigger than our “plan your days” and “organize your life” selves remember to consider sometimes. We can get very caught up in “who should I invite to my fall party?” because “I hope they invite me to their Christmas party!” and we fail to remember the enormous opportunity—and calling!—we have been given to look up from our contact lists and reciprocal relationships and simply ask: Who can I love today who may have nothing to offer me in return?

If all my friends are just like me, then when I look at them I’m only seeing a reflection myself. But when I find company in people who are not like me—those outside my inner circle (a circle I love and need)—I may see less of myself in them, but I’ll also have clearer eyes for spotting Christ.

If Jesus threw a dinner party, those with nothing to repay Him would be at the top of His guest list. He would not only invite Mrs. McGlutterpants, she would be the first to receive an invitation! We know this because He does the same for us—poor, needy sinners that we are—when He welcomes us to the Great Banquet and exalts us to the seat of honor.

Isn’t it just like Jesus to make us squirm? Isn’t it just like the Kingdom of Heaven to flip-flop our paradigms—changing the game while giving us new eyes for the heart of God Himself?

Girls, let’s go to the Father now and ask Him to soften our hearts to Christ’s teaching. Then let's model the Great Inviter, match our intentions with His, and swing wide open the doors of our hearts and homes to those who are like us and those who aren't. This is the way of the Kingdom. This is hospitality. #SheReadsTruth

[02/03/15]   There is need to have patience that after we have performed God’s will, we might receive the promise. Patience is not an easy virtue to cultivate, and in fact, it goes entirely against the modern way of the world, which is all about speed, ‘’right now’’, and quick answers and instant results. But even though we live in the world, we are not of this world, and the spiritual dynamics have not changed—patience takes faith, and faith is the cornerstone of our lives for Christ.
Remember, faith takes patience, and patience is the mark of a typical faith, one that has been deepened and ripened and is mature, rich and full.
Brother and Sister in Christ, what do you think about Patience!!!

[01/26/15]   The heart that will experience God is that one which will love, faithfully and fearfully seek Him, Proverbs 8:17.
I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me...". Are you ready to experience God?

[01/21/15]   It is too amazing if one realized his/her sin and repents before God but if we become arrogant and rebel against Him, His heart breaks. He is still our loving Father who can not leave us to be eaten by wolves (unless we chose it). Whoever returns to Him with a broken heart finds His favor and abundant grace. It is not over for you, return to Him who made you with His mighty hands.

Joel 2:12-13 “Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, weeping and fasting. Tear your hearts not just your clothes, and return to your Lord God. For He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, rich in faithful love, and He relents from sending disaster”

[01/14/15]   Humility brings the presence of God. 2Chronicles 7:14 "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place". How humble are you before God?

[01/12/15]   Much of life is about the little decisions you make every day. Decisions of the past have had their effect on your life, but every new day can be a new start. No matter what has happened up till now, you have a chance to make the right choices today.

Don’t waste time reliving the pain of past mistakes and wrong decisions. That only saps your power to do the good that you can do today. You can’t change the past, but you can make decisions that will build the future, starting right now, so take full advantage of the present.

Learn from past mistakes and put them behind you today. Forgive those who have wronged you and ask forgiveness from those you have wronged. That probably won’t be easy, but don’t put it off; determine today to do it. Look up to Jesus and his word for fresh courage and hope, starting today. Dream new dreams today. Set new goals today. Spend your time on things that truly count today. Love your family today. Be a friend today. Do things better, starting today.

[01/09/15]   What goes around your body may not affect your eternity but what goes out or in your body and disrupt your relationship with God will affect your eternity. Let us always seek to have and grow our relationship with God. Love God, love and serve God.

[01/07/15]   What moves the heart of God is not what you possess (wealthy), your beauty, number of children you are having, books you have, work experience or travel experiences, it is just the relationship and love you have for Him, "I love those who love Me; and those who seek Me early shall find me." Proverbs 8:17

[12/24/14]   He was born that we may all receive the grace and light of salvation, MERRY CHRISTMAS

[12/20/14]   Friends are God's ways of taking care of us. Love your friends and remember TRUE LOVE is not what you receive but what you give instead. GIVE LOVE, RECEIVE LOVE. God bless you as you love your neighbors, reconciling with those who hurt you. Reconciliation brings the LOST love back.
Ephesians 4:32 - And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you

[12/18/14]   Dear friends, we need to make friends.
Luke 16:9 And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.

[12/17/14]   Spiritual Growth - What is it? Spiritual growth is detailed in 2 Peter 1:3-8, "His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ." So, spiritual growth includes: (1) increasing in your knowledge and understanding of God's Word, (2) decreasing in your frequency and severity of sin, (3) increasing in your practice of Christ-like qualities, and (4) increasing in your faith and trust in God. Perhaps the best summary of spiritual growth is becoming more like Jesus Christ. In 1 Corinthians 11:1, Paul says, "Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ." Jesus Christ is the ultimate example of what it truly means to be spiritual. Spiritual Growth - How is it done? In order for spiritual growth to occur, you first need to make sure you possess a true spiritual life through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. "And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life" (1 John 5:11-12). When you believe in Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit lives inside of you (John 14:16-17) and you are a new creation in Christ! 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" Your old nature, which is dominated by sin, is replaced with a new nature that is under the influence of God's Spirit (Romans 6-7). Spiritual growth can only occur in a person who knows the Lord Jesus Christ as his or her Savior. Learning how to grow spiritually is a life-long journey which occurs as you read and apply God's Word to your life. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 teaches us, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." In order for spiritual growth to occur, we must be taught, rebuked, corrected, and trained by God's Word. Then we will be thoroughly equipped for every good work. This is the essence of spiritual growth. Another key to Christian growth is walking in the Spirit. Galatians 5:16-18, 24-26explains, "So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law…Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other." Walking in the Spirit is allowing Him to fill you (Ephesians 5:18), control you, and guide you. This is brought about by consciously choosing by faith to rely on the Holy Spirit to guide you in thought, word, and deed (Romans 6:11-14). Failure to rely on the Holy Spirit's guidance will result in a believer not living up to the calling and standing that salvation provides. Ephesians 4:1 says, "…I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received." Spiritual Growth - What are the results? Spiritual growth is a life-long process of manifesting the acts of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21) less and less and producing the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) more and more. Notice that it is the Holy Spirit who produces the fruit in us. Yes, we must submit ourselves to the Spirit's leading, but it is the Spirit who produces the fruit of spiritual growth in our lives. What does spiritual growth look like? Galatians 5:22-23 has the answer, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." If you are becoming more loving, more joyful, more kind, more self-controlled, etc., then you can rest assured that spiritual growth is genuinely occurring in your life. God works in different people in different ways. Some people grow rapidly, while others grow slowly, but steadily. Our focus should not be on comparing ourselves with others, but on comparing ourselves with God's Word. The Scriptures are the mirror to show us what we are like spiritually and to shine light on the areas that need to experience and learn spiritual growth. James 1:23-25 declares, "Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it - he will be blessed in what he does."
