The secrets we incubate in life Gerald was Archbishop of York (1100-1108). He died suddenly on his way to London to attend a Church Council. He was denied a Christian burial. He was not even buried inside the Minster in York as was the tradition. The people pelted the hearse with stones. His major crime was that a book of astrology had been found under his pillow! The church felt that one cannot be a confessing Christian and practice astrology as well! Death has a way of unveiling the secret things that lay hidden during our lifetime- some positive and some negative. How ought I to live so that whatever surprises are found under my pillow will be positive and inspiring? Just a thought, dear fishers of men.
I heard them say, "They will never complete that church building". Now that it is complete, I hear them say, " it is too big they will never fill it...what a waste." God heard the first statement and responded. He is hearing the second statement and will in due course respond to them. The church shall be filled!

Hello, I am suggesting that we get professional sound engineers to improve the sound we use for services. There is a lot of echo which can be distracting. The sound needs to be balanced throughout the church too. Thank you.

As a christian, we have the right to be judged but we don't have the right to judge others. People have the right to critic the Gospel you preach, your lifestyle and even the words you say!

Thus Paul says"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,
fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." (Hebrews 12:1-2)

So throw off bitterness, jealousy, anger, grudges and others things that entangle you. Throw off the things that easily undefine you as a christian.

Have a blessed day.

[01/08/21]   2020 has been a year of much trials but we triumphed in the end as we welcomed 2021. We thank God for this triumph.

Besides using them as a way of encouraging others, testimonies are a form of praise and honor to God.

Psalm 22:22 says “I will praise you to all my brothers; I will stand up before the congregation and testify of the wonderful things you have done.” (TLB)

Let us share some testimonies in the comment section.

Good bless you and Happy 2021.

Let us cry to the Lord until the He comes to our rescue.

Let us seek the Lord and then raise our voices in his presence. He will always avail Himself to us.

We continue to invite you to our Midweek service.
#Wednesday #Midweek 5:30pm

[01/04/21]   Dear Loving God,

As the week starts this Monday a new year, we give you thanks for all we hold dear: our health, our family and our finances, our friends and our jobs.

We pray that You help us release our grudges, our anger and our pains, for these are nothing but binding chains. May we live each day in the most loving ways, the God-conscious way. Let us serve all who are in need, regardless of tribe, religon or political party. Help us remember that we are all one, embracing all, discriminating against none.

We pray for our nation and its decision makers during these difficult times, and for all those who are seeking to bring peace and justice to our troubled nation. We pray especially for Your protection on all the breadwinners in different homes, and we thank You for their commitment and efforts. Be with their families also, and assure them of Your love and concern for them.

Bring our divided nation together, and give us a greater vision of what You would have us to be. Your Word reminds us that "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord" (Psalm 33:12).

May this year be filled with peace, prosperity and love. May God's blessings shower upon us and bestow upon each of us a bright, healthy and peaceful new year.
Amen

Welcome to 2021.

2021 LET'S NOT FEAR, BUT LETS STAND FIRM AS WE SEE THE DELIVERANCE OF THE LORD- VICARS MESSAGE.

Dear Fisher's of Men, I salute you all in the precious name of our LORD and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

I bring greetings to you from my dear wife, Mama Peace and the children; and also convey their gratitude to all the kind people who stood with us as a family during the lock down, plus all well intentioned people that have been a blessing to the ministry as a whole. I thank God for leading us through what has been one of the most challenging times in recent human history.

I am aware that the battle is not yet over, because Covid 19 is still ravaging many precious lives, so for you and me to be alive today, can only be attributed to the grace of God. My heart therefore goes out to all those that have lost their loved ones in this year, that is ending tonight. That God will comfort and strengthen you all as you turn to Him and focus ahead into the future.

As we cross over into the new year, we are uncertain of what lies ahead, but one thing we are sure of, and can bank on is the fact that our Father in heaven is still in charge, and moreover He promised never to forsake us. He promised Joshua that, "No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you."(Joshua 1:5, CPR Hebrews 13:5).

Let us purpose to stand on this promise and face the future with more confidence, knowing that we can appropriate the promises of God He gave to our forefathers, with our faith. I therefore decree and declare that no man, no situation, will stand before you in 2021, in Jesus' name! Amen.

As one believer put it, those who kneel before the LORD can stand before any body or any situation. Following the theme for our cross over, let's not fear, but lets stand firm as we see the deliverance of the LORD. I wish you a fruitful and blessed 2021.

Rev. Canon Michael Mukhwana.

Happy new year

Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. (Psalms 100:3-5)

Wishing you a blissful 2021.
