It takes 4Rs steps to rehabilitate a former street child into a responsible person, the 4Rs include: Rescue, Rehabilitate, Reconcile and Resettlement. There a number of factors that led children to leave on street by them selves at an early age. But all in all we thank God for what He has enabled Agape to contribute on the desperate vulnerable children He has given us to care for more so in this harder times where by to get provision by God's grace. Many Ugandans fear to associate with street children due to their bad behaviors at least the volunteers that have been to Uganda and in slum areas like Kisenyi in Kampala are my witness and while on street their vulnerable to any thing. But we thank God that few that come to our rescue we register a change daily.
Due to Agape financial constraints there many things we can not provide to the boys as required by the Government like our sleeping code to tooo bad; no mattress, no beds, no balance food as it could be, getting tuition to get them in school is harder and getting them cloths is once in awhile. But the good news is through the 4Rs steps they learn to be clean, share with others, learn to forgive/ reconcile with their families and for 10 years have seen children leaving on street with no hope, smoking, drinking and sniffing jet fuel transforming into responsible persons. Come and join us together we can accomplish much.

One of the Agape supported boy called Daniel Nsubuga has lost a mother this morning, has been with Daniel since 2017, he lost a father many years back and had only a mother at moment. We're now in preparation to take the body for burial.
The boy has no help and by 7:00am Daniel was already home with some hope to get some help from Agape for burial facilitation like transporting the body for burial in the village. They had no money in that Even when she fellow sick they did not afford to take her in the hospital to get some treatment till she passed on at home. Any help would be very much welcome. The boy in black jacket is Daniel that lost a mother.

[07/01/21]   We call upon you to keep us in prayers 🙏 another Agape supported child among those that seat senior 4 in March and now waiting for her results, she tested positive with COVID-19 and her Aunt she stays with in the house.

On 18th June the president of Uganda finally clocked the country into Total lockdown with no movements at all due to increased covid-19 cases in the country. However, on 16th I had traveled for a mission to the boardering district Busia with Kenya and till now am fighting to get some means of transportation to get back to Kampala to meet my Agape kids. The situation now in the country is now so harder and I do appeal to all family and friends of Agape for any possible support to facilitate some strangling family in poverty. Many people are very poor total lockdown means many families won't get a meal for the day.

Covid-19 has taken its move seriously in Uganda, many deaths have been registered in our community of Ndejje and fear of death is on lips of everyone in our local community.
But warsed of all one of the Agape family member has fallen a victim of covid-19. When schools where closed Joy requested me at least to and look for a job work as things comes back to normal to go back to school for a curse because she had finished form 4. And when schools where allowed to operate Joy got a school and she started schooling however she has been covid-19 and her condition is not good. Joy is a vulnerable girl that has also benefits from Agape support in search for her better future and she has been under Agape rehabilitation program.
At a moment Joy is locked up in a room somewhere, we cannot afford covid-19 treatment cost, government hospitals gazetted to treat covid-19 are full, treatment cost asked to treat her daily is $160 cost per day. Non of us can afford that money daily to get her treatment required. Thus why we call you all friends of Agape to join hands with is in prayer lifting up Joy before God for His will to be done to her. At Agape we have given in one hour of prayer daily lifting up Joy and all those that fighting for their lives with covid-19. Her condition is critical, may God have mercy on us.
We have nothing to offer her that prayers and so many others that like her that cannot afford hospital bills and are locked up like her in their homes. But the rest of the Agape kids/staff with me are safe.
