*LIVING FOR GOD'S PLEASURE*
*Living For God's Pleasure; The Pathway Into Victory Over All Life Battles & Conflicts.*
```Proverbs 16:7 When a man's ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. NKJV```
# We were created and designed not to fight battles and run conflicts with each other but to rather each of us have peaceful dominion on the earth; to live for God's pleasure; bring Him honour and glory and manifest His Power.
Your personal experience has already most likely taught you that even when you try to be nice to people they can choose to pick some fights and start up some conflicts here and there even on petty issues, even when you "feel or think" that you are innocent.
This is all the work of the enemy because he does not want you to enjoy the peace of God; the Real Kingdom of God.
🔥 *Living for God's pleasure is your only short cut and game changer into living at peace with any kind of people. Living for God's pleasure culminates into God neutralizing the enmity of our enemies into peace with us.*
Yes! This is because Divine Favour is a game changer in the affairs of man's life. Find Favour with God this year and enjoy Favour even with those that have vowed and purpose to be your enemies.
King David is a man that lived his life to please God and bring Him pleasure. He was labeled by God as a man after His own heart.
God granted David victory in every battle and subsequently caused him and his kingdom to enjoy peace all round.
*Even today, the only way for the Nation of Israel to enjoy peace is to yield to the Holy Spirit and heed His prophetic voice; to switch from religious fanaticism into Living for God's pleasure by the Anointing and Grace of the Holy Spirit.*
While your enemies vow and swear to finish you, commit yourself to live for God's pleasure and praise and they shall all end up bargaining for peace with you. Hullo! This is the working of the Divine power and Favour of God.
_This is a year of Divine Favour. God is causing your enemies to make peace with you as you focus on living for His pleasure and praise, in Jesus' Name._
🔥 *You can hardly fight any battle in your own power and win it, no matter how small it may seem to be. But you can purpose and live a life that brings God pleasure and praise and He will fight your battles.*
_Living for God's pleasure is the best and surest approach to enjoying peace in a turbulent world and finding Favour among hateful people._
The Kingdom of God is identified with righteousness, peace and joy for man that lives under the ministry and leadership of the Holy Spirit.
```Philippians 2:13 [Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.``` Amplified
🔥 *Your chances and ability to win any battle or conflict anywhere in life is not depended on your fame nor your power, not your might nor intellect but rather on your dependence on the Holy Spirit of God.*
_The Holy Spirit causes you to desire and to do that which pleases God at any time and any moment through every manner of season in your life._
While you work out your salvation daily by bringing God pleasure, honour and praise the Spirit of God drags your enemies from the realm of enmity and hatred and neutralizes them into a realm of desiring and seeking peace with you.
🔥 *Purposefully and Deliberately Live for God's pleasure and enjoy peace all around all the days of your life.*
_Whoever rises against you shall either surrender to you to make peace with you or else they shall fall for your sake to the Glory of God for whose pleasure and praise you live._
_May the Holy Spirit help you that you do not cause God to repent so that He will cause your enemies to repent, in Jesus' Name. Amen_
_Precious Holy Spirit, guide me, teach me and counsel me every moment into living a life that brings pleasure to you my God and maker that I may enjoy your kingdom in the land of the living, in Jesus' Name. Amen_
*TEXTS FOR DEEPER STUDY:*
# Enjoying all round peace is the portion for those who live their lives for God's pleasure.
#Let your words, your thoughts and actions be the kind that brings God pleasure and praise.
*Phil 2:12-14 Amplified*
# God wants to help you and guide you into living for His pleasure.
#Living for God's pleasure is the real path of righteousness.

Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!” *And he said, “Here I am.” Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” So Abraham rose early in the morning* and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him. *Then on the third day Abraham lifted his eyes and saw the place afar off*. But Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, “My father!” And he said, “Here I am, my son.” Then he said, “Look, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?” *And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.”* So the two of them went together.
Genesis 22:1-4, 7-8 NKJV

This is one of the best accounts on *Obedience towards God!*
*Faith mixed with Obedience:* Very key component especially in the quest to satisfactorily Live a life tuned towards God's Pleasure. That's a life of dedicated worship by God's design. A life full of many unanswered questions but suppressed by your faith in God. I suppose Abraham had many questions, pondered across the three days' journey to Moriah, but despite all these, he hoped and believed in the God who had proved Himself before, given him a son at 100years and opted to focus on pleasing God, he focused on God not his son, his only son btw, God knew Abraham loved Isaac so much *(vs2: Take now your son, whom you love)!* More love for his God, than for his son! That he who was able to give the son, could also be able to either give another or raise his back to life. A perfect reflection of what God did for us through giving His only son Jesus Christ, that we might have abundant life in return (John 10:10)
One must be ready to act, respond and accept with obedience and commit to expectations and instructions from the Father!
Hallelujah, be blessed in this walk of obedience as you follow the example of our great patriarch of our faith, father Abraham! Shalom Wednesday🤝🙏💗
Are you ready to walk in and with Obedience to live a life of dedicated worship towards your God?☄️

*7 Benefits of Being Part of a Small Group/Family in a church setting*
While attending church every week is good for you – both spiritually and physically – it shouldn’t be your only interaction with believers on a weekly basis. Christianity is best experienced as part of a community, and one hour or two hours a week certainly isn’t enough.Being part of a small group is tremendously beneficial for the Christian experience. Not only do you get to experience God with other believers outside of a weekly church service, but you also have the opportunity to go deeper in your studies and relationships – all while socializing and having a good time.Here are 7 reasons why you should join a small group:
1. *In a small group, you are noticed*
Although most churches try to ensure that every member feels valued, this isn’t always possible when people interact once a week. Small groups make you part of a tighter community of friends – who will notice immediately if you aren’t around or aren’t acting like yourself. When you’re part of a small group, people know your name, care about you, and are willing and able to support you when it’s needed most.
2. *In a small group, you are a leader*
If you have a desire to grow in your own leadership abilities, becoming part of a small group is an excellent way to start. Because the purpose of a small group is to grow big enough to multiply, virtually everyone can become a leader. Grow your own leadership skills, while making a positive impact on your community, by joining, and maybe even starting a small group.
3. *Small groups give you an extended family*
Some of us live hundreds of miles from our families. Others have no families at all. Being part of a small group that meets weekly to eat, talk, and fellowship gives you the same loyalty and support that you would receive from family. And family is priceless.
4. *Small groups allow you to search and ask questions*
No one has all of the answers to questions about God, Christianity, and our spiritual journey – not even pastors. While church services are focused on teaching and training, a small group gives you the ability to ask these hard questions in a safe environment – and seek the answers together. The Family is one of the best ways to grow your spiritual life. You can discuss challenges, praises, and questions with other earnest seekers and Jesus followers.5. *Small groups provide advice and support*
Small groups don’t only help with spiritual questions, they can also provide support on a plethora of life matters. Ask for prayer regarding your career, relationships, and other life decisions. When we seek out the knowledge and wisdom of others before making a difficult life choice, the final outcome is almost always better.
6. *Small groups improve your communication skills and critical thinking abilities*
One of the best ways to expand your own decision making and analytical abilities is to critically evaluate and discuss challenging concepts – such as the ideas of Salvation, Heaven, the Trinity, and the Second Coming. Not only can these discussions give you a better understanding of God and his love, they can also improve your ability to think about other difficult ideas at work or school.
7. *Small groups improve your attitude*
When you have people that pray for you every week (or maybe even every day), text you periodically, and truly care about your life, it’s hard not to walk around with a smile on your face. When other people care about the challenges in your life, they suddenly don’t matter as much to you – and you can spend your time on life’s more positive aspects. Having a positive friend in a group will inevitably make your life more positive and enjoyable.
*And ultimately, small groups help the church grow.*
As Christians our responsibility is stated clearly at the end of Matthew – to go out and make disciples of all the earth. Unfortunately, this is often hard to do because people feel intimidated to visit churches.Small groups, on the other hand, give you the opportunity to connect with people in less-threatening environment. Someone who wouldn’t set foot in a church may still enjoy discussing spirituality over dinner with friends.Truly, there are many benefits of small groups – for each member, the church as a whole, our community, and our world.If you’re ready to become part of a small group that’s focused on becoming more like Christ – while receiving the benefits listed above – then reach out to our team at Flames Church Kampala. We’ll introduce you to one of our famimlies so that you can join this exciting movement. Stay blessed and contending for your Destiny! Hallelujah 🙌

🌳Prophetic word for the month
CONTENDING FOR YOUR DESTINY
Genesis 32:26…“I will not let you go unless you bless me.”
Matthew 16:21-24…let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
There is a great need for Christians to awaken to the unique call and destiny awaiting all those who follow Jesus.
Deeper is the fact that we must contend for our destinies if we are to enter into the role God has for us. God wants us to be recepients of His hope and promises.
🌺This is the time to take off the gloves and go at it.
_Matthew 11:12_ and forceful men (and women) lay hold of it.
_Micah 6:1_ Hear ye now what the Lord says; ~Arise, contend~ thou before the mountains and let hills hear your voice.
Arise and stand up against the enemy and decree and confirm in the spirit what rightfully belongs to you.
God has crafted a beautiful future for those that entrust their lives to him. We cannot afford to miss this 😳
Contending involves a lot;
✅Waging war, declaring and decreeing your right and privilege to enter your next dimension or cease your destiny.
Paul told Timothy (Tim 6:12); _”Fight the good fight of faith.”
CONTENDING FOR YOUR DESTINY means you still show up tomorrow even when today wasn't all that victorious! Just like Peter in Luke 5:5, he had been fishing all night! He had to obey and cast the nets again. _Perseverance goes the extra mile.
✅Acquire the desire to achieve your destiny.
Matthew 5:6; _Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
Kingdom living is more than listening and learning, it’s yearning and participating. And this is what claims a blessing!
_It’s time to re-emphasize our place in God’s Kingdom. Amen!
🌺Ephesians 5:14-16 _Wake up, O sleeper, rise…Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
_The moment is now!_
