Living the Word

Mission: Evangelize, Disciple & Empower through the teaching of the word of Grace, Faith & Worship.

Operating as usual

Withhold not doing good for scripture beseeches us fervently

#Thanksgiving is of a Kingdom essence
We ought to give thanks at all times and never should we hold it back whatsoever
This day #GiveThanks and let not His Praise Depart from your mouth, acclaim it all the time.

Marriage is God's initiative and only Him can define it

[11/21/20]   When Jesus Christ commissioned His disciples to proclaim the kingdom of God, He gave them both authority and power (Luke 9:1-2).

Whereas authority gave them the right to act, power gave them the ability. God never requires us to do something without enabling us to do it.

When Jesus Christ promised His disciples, “…you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth…” (Acts 1:8), He revealed to them that global witness was beyond their natural ability.

They needed to receive the power of the Spirit to fulfill the purpose of the Spirit, which is to testify about Christ (John 15:26-27). The disciples first had to learn what supernatural power was available to them, and then how to exercise it.

Have we received the power of the Spirit?

Are we attempting the work of God without the power of God?

Are we in agreement with the Holy Spirit’s purpose?

Robert Fergusson - Hillsong.

Incase you knew not what Praise is

"We always have a different perspective towards Praise and all we think of is taking on efforts or endeavors to feel it yet it is meant to be done"

Every best thing is achieved after a qualitative process characterized by tests and trials
Are you able to hold on with patience?
And are you ready to have it work in and through you?

Just before you get yourself into that trouble
Remember this !!!!

Life is a melody
Life in God is a heavenly yet eternally melody
This is a worship song #sembera from Sandra Suubi
Its a song calling on you and I to totally surrender by drawing nigh unto God he is more than ready to help you

Have your faith ignited of God
No situation is too hard for Him to accomplish
Through the valleys and dark points, He is with you
He is gonna do it again

Prayer is the only powerful weapon strong enough to protect a nation.
We may have all the armoury and the sophisticated weapons but if God protects not, its all in vain.
I call upon each and everyone of us to get on our knees for our nation Uganda, the time is now

Scripture writes and says, "before we pray he knows all that we need" this implies we can never ask what he isn't aware of that we actually need.
As you and I pray, let us receive that which we pray for before we physically take a hold of it.

Many of us desire a fill up from God
We actually sing "fill me up till I overflow" but have we emptied ourselves enough so as to be filled by God?
Question to us all:
📌Are you Empty enough?📌

How To Find God When I’ve Lost Myself - Bishop T.D. Jakes
Listen in to this, God is saying something to you and I
The world and all its situations including this raging pandemic that we are in has robbed of us the rightful Kingdom Joy but we can't back down on any of the enemy's tricks we are arising to Find God afresh but also Him helping us recover our lost selves.

Like Elijah, the prophet, we have found ourselves in a cave, isolated from society. Although God didn't design us to be disconnected, being in solitude elimi...

Many times we like to think and tell ourselves that God has forsaken us all because of the situations we go through but we barely forget that even the mere fact that we are still breathing is evidence enough that Jesus has never left us, he is with us.
Psalms.23 " says I am your shepherd, you shall not want...........even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I ( God ) will be with you"
So today if you shall have it tucked into your spirit that " you are not alone, you got Jesus"
He is that friend who sticks closer than a brother.

His Presence brings healing
It is shed across our hearts only if we totally surrender to Him
His arms are wide spread and willing to receive us wholesomely
Surrender to His Love and Presence

TPC Prayer and Praise Season II. Join In

[10/02/20]   Philippians 2:12-13 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for [His] good pleasure.

Why is it easy for us to keep on remembering the past much more when this past has nothing good in it than we could easily remember the good however small the accounts and scenarios or moments, it could have consisted?

Well, it is simple our mind is a battle field, we wage war between two kingdoms that is the kingdom of light and darkness and if at all you ain't guided by the holy spirit the latter might trip you over hence falling for the enemies tricks and traps.

Scripture writes and says, "put off the old man and its deeds" wear a new man and walk as the spirit of God , the Word of God does oblige, this is in delight of His Perfect Will.

Know this that your past doesn't and shouldn't define you rather learn from it but live as how God does Will and purpose for you in His Word.

For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable – Rom 11:29

A sick young man had the gospel on a small radio in the corner of the Hospital, believing, he got healed and surrendered his life to Christ and went on to start a ministry that ministered to many around the World. The minister on the radio had contemplated quitting ministry at some point, what a miscarriage of purpose it would have been.

A musician set up a concert, expecting to have a large crowd and successful concert, the time of the event came and only a handful turned up. Shocked and discouraged, but he decided to go ahead and perform, if anything to God, himself, his band mates and the few who turned up and perhaps just have fun. He went ahead to hold one of the best concerts of his career despite a low turn up.

To the Minister of the Gospel out there, what if your entire life ministry ministered to one person? Would it be worth your calling? Would you feel fulfilled that you brought this one person to Christ? I am convinced that Jesus would have died on the Cross to save one person.

While everyone craves success in large numbers, be encouraged in the Lord that you are doing exactly what God wanted you to do when he made you. Honor your calling.

I am personally a big fun of the unsung heroes, that gentleman climbing network masts at mid night that you may have cellular network, or restore power/water, that lady in the hospital lab who without results the Doctors might never help the patient, what shall we say about the Doctors who stay up and see patients even at odd hours of the night, the armed forces that keep guard when everyone is sound asleep.

Our generation has made being rich the holy grail of life, and yet, the people who are paying the ultimate price for keeping our society moving forward never receive any due recognition. When the Covid-19 Pandemic broke, suddenly our nurses and doctors were recognized but how much do we compensate them as opposed to sportsmen like footballers?

I am here to submit to you that if you stay true to your calling, in due time, you will reap your reward. Keep the faith, honor God who has called you to that vocation, that profession, that office, that space. However big the temptation to quit is, keep going, maybe it’s just a bad day, a bad week, month or year…soon, the bad will pass and Glory will return.

Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me, His Prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the Gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us with a holy calling, not according to our works but according to his own purpose and grace which was given us in Christ Jesus – 2 Tim 1:8 – 9

God Bless You and Keep You.

Life is like a stage
When its your turn to be on that stage, everything is made possible and put in place for you to live the moment to its fullest.

However the question is how have you lived your life?
Is Jesus part and the the leader of it?

This is how precious life is
Especially if its founded on the Word of God, and Christ Jesus as the Rock of salvation
You are safe and secure however let Thanksgiving be part of your daily talk to God.
1Thess.5:18 " Its God's perfect will to give thanks"

[09/28/20]   A Boy Is Healed

Prayer and Fasting: Matthew 17:14-20

14 And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, 15 “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is [b]an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. 16 So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.”

17 Then Jesus answered and said, “O [c]faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” 18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.

19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”

20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your [d]unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. 21 [e]However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

In our walk with Jesus, we encounter a lot of the physical world matters that most times instigate us into acting and reacting on literally everything and in this process we sin with the words of our mouth, we insult and step on people's toes ( these could either be church people or non-church ) but remember this one thing, they are all created in God's Image and likeness.
How many times have you done wrong with just that reaction that you probably think was needed or you were kinda persuaded by how you feel ( feelings )?
You need to learn when to keep quiet and when to talk its actually a biblical principle
Silence is a virtue and a "discipline" of sorts
Embrace it

When you're broken by the world situations, the acceptance comes from the origin of your belief report.
Scripture writes and says: "whose report shall you believe?"
It is a question of choice making
Will you believe what the deceit of the enemy does tell you or you will believe God's report.

This is our strength
Psalms.73:26 "God is the strength of my heart and portion forever"

In this way, you cannot be broken whatsoever!!
You source of strength is formidable and strong💪

[09/16/20]   Our Walk with God is a longterm Kingdom Business Investment

[09/16/20]   What pushes you to PRAY?
1. Needs
2. Hearing from God
3. You just find yourself praying

This week as it starts off, let this be a nugget that will help you get fine tuned with God. There are many sounds and noises and reports but choose to suffocate ALL of them, drown them and fix your attention to God Alone.
Scripture writes and says: "Set your affection on things above and not on things here on earth" Coll.3:1-ff

God has lots of things for us in store, His desire is to have us get a hold of these precious things he has got for us.
Question is, are we ready to pay a price???

#Borrowedcaption cc: @Lecrae

Question: who do you associate with ? Are they adding something to you or they are basically deprecating you with negative energies.
Now you probably know by now what scripture speaks about this
Scripture writes and through one of Paul's letters he says, "Imitate me as I imitate Christ Jesus" meaning you ought to see Christ in your associations and this will definitely have you carry on the true and right disciplines and not the bad ones.

God has given each one of us a gift and its either by laying on of hands by men and women of God or ordination by God himself.
We have however not taken on an initiative to listen in to his voice of instruction, have our gifts opened up for a blessing to those around us.

Shall you open that package, coz there is gonna be an accountability for it one day!

Its a life challenge right??? But then our God calls us in scripture to bare one another's burdens and pray for one another, someone may be not able to understand but when it ain't deliberate, our human nature falters and does frail however, with God one is Able to bounce back positively to the Glory of his Majesty.
A #slighttwist 👌step by step we can have the elephant ( s ) to the ground
It was only a stone that took Goliath down

How do you start your day??
Do you first WhatsApp or Instagram or twitter or Facebook or Snapchat???
As for me this is my day starter
What better way to start your day than this one???

Always start it off with GOD
He is the First and Last
Alpha and Omega

Don Moen - Have Your Way
A classic #HaveyourWay from DON MOEN (Praise & Worship Leader)
As you watch and listen, let it be your prayer unto God for Him to have His ultimate way in your life, your family, your work, your relatives and in everything that concerns you.

This year hasn't gone the way I expected it to go - what about you? Here are my thoughts so far. ►Follow Don Moen Online Facebook:

If this doesn't challenge you to PRAY!!!! then there is a problem.
Scripture writes and does talk about perilous times/ last days or the end times when the love of many for God and the things of God shall wax cold
People losing the spiritual connection and instead regaining and retaining the worldly connection, lovers of pleasure more than God.
Am challenged by this meme here and as #ThePraiseChapel we beseech ourselves and you as well to find time and let's pray God's sanity back into the church and the body of Christ at large.

[08/23/20]   Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
