There are certain things that God prepares for you as His child. These opportunities don’t fit any one else and are customized for you. God knows exactly what you need so He prepares things and situations just for you. These are called divine opportunities.
During this season of the year 2020, there are specific things God has prepared for you. Your response is to prayerfully download these things into your spirit and to follow that with stepping out by faith to activate these things in your life. Don’t sit down and watch others get busy. Activate your God given destiny in Jesus’ name.
SCRIPTURE READING: Acts 13:1-5 Now in the church that was at Antioch there were certain prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away. So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia, and from there they sailed to Cyprus. And when they arrived in Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. They also had John as their assistant.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Dear God, am grateful for Your Spirit that dwells in me. Teach me to fully yield unto Him to activate my God given destiny, amen.

Every season, day, hour and moment presents us special opportunities. During this season of global pandemic and lockdown, there are many opportunities waiting to be identified and seized. The current situation presents unparalleled once in a lifetime opportunities for those whose eyes are open.
The question then at hand is what opportunities can you identify in this situation? What gaps can you fill? What changes are coming and what are the opportunities coming with them. Open your eyes and spirit to look into the future and identify life changing opportunities in Jesus’ name.
SCRIPTURE READING: Ecclesiastes 9:11 I returned and saw under the sun that— The race is not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all.
DEVOTION PRAYER: My Lord, I believe that this is my season of great opportunities. Guide me to fully grasp the vision that has come with this great change in Jesus’name.

SEIZE YOUR CHANGE
Posted April 19, 2020 Bishop Richard
There are times God brings you to a place of blessing disguised as change. The blessings of God are not obvious some times because they are hidden behind the many natural challenges and demands of life. If not careful, your eyes end at the challenges and never look further to the blessing.
I encourage you to embrace the changes God is bringing your way by looking beyond the challenges and seeing the hand of God in all the situations you find yourself today.
SCRIPTURE READING: Mark 6:1-6 Then He went out from there and came to His own country, and His disciples followed Him. And when the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, “Where did this Man get these things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands! Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?” So they were offended at Him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.” Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Dear God, guide me to look beyond the challenges. I choose to see Your hand in these changes that You’re bringing my way, amen.

CHANGE IS HERE
Posted April 18, 2020 Bishop Richard
There are times we talk about what is coming with a futuristic approach. In a decade or so we anticipate something different. Then there are times when change overtakes us without warning. This season is one where the latter has come upon us in so many ways, that everything has changed. There is no time to prepare for the future because the future is here. This is not multiple option and you can’t run away from it. Like it or not change is here.
In such a time, we must brace ourselves like Joshua and get on with the matters at hand. Stay up late praying things through, planning preparing and doing whatever it takes to catch up with the change. Realign yourself to the new reality that has already started everywhere around you.
SCRIPTURE READING: Joshua 6:1-9 Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. And the LORD said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor. You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days. And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. It shall come to pass, when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up every man straight before him.” Then Joshua the son of Nun called the priests and said to them, “Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the LORD.” And he said to the people, “Proceed, and march around the city, and let him who is armed advance before the ark of the LORD.” So it was, when Joshua had spoken to the people, that the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the LORD advanced and blew the trumpets, and the ark of the covenant of the LORD followed them. The armed men went before the priests who blew the trumpets, and the rear guard came after the ark, while the priests continued blowing the trumpets.
DEVOTION PRAYER: My Jesus, I realign myself to the reality that change is here. With a joyful heart I embrace this new beginning in the name of Jesus, Amen. http://www.redemptionglobal.net/2020/04/18/change-is-here/

Heavenly Father, in this season I choose to embrace change with a positive conscience. May my actions be led by You in Jesus name amen.

There are certain things we must resist diligently in the faith but change is not one of them. It’s almost like anything new is rejected and resisted by most people until it’s been proven otherwise. However, there are certain changes that come regardless of what you think or expect because change is inevitable. We must position ourselves to embrace that kind of change and maximise it.
Forget business as usual. Some of the things you have be and used to are not coming back. The new normal is going to become the norm so don’t think it’s going away soon. Deal with the change before you with a positive attitude and make the most of it. Remember, change is inevitable!
SCRIPTURE READING: Joshua 1:1-7 After the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, it came to pass that the LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, saying: “Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel. Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your territory. No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Heavenly Father, in this season I choose to embrace change with a positive conscience. May my actions be led by You in Jesus name amen.

CHANGE IS GOOD
Posted April 16, 2020 Bishop Richard
While the whole world is looking at global events from various perspectives, one thing is clear, change has come. We may argue, complain and even refuse what is going on, but one thing is undeniable, change has come. In all this we can hold onto the past or accept that change can be good if we embrace it with a positive attitude. What is universally acceptable is that change is inevitable.
Let us be positive about life and the things going on around us. Let’s focus our hearts and minds to make the most of what comes our way. Refuse to be stuck in the past or in limbo and accept the change as positive. Change is good and you can enjoy every bit of it, if you make up your mind to be positive. It is good in the kingdom.
SCRIPTURE READING: Romans 8:28-39 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined [to be] conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. What then shall we say to these things? If God [is] for us, who [can be] against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: ” For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Oh Lord am grateful for change. I carry a positive attitude towards it, in Jesus name amen.

Forward prophetic thinking along with prophetic prayer are critical in this time of global pandemic. We can’t just sit back and let things unfold before our eyes without any forethought about tomorrow. Now, I am not saying we should worry ourselves and become anxious about the future. What I am saying is that we should get prophetic insight into the future so we can anticipate (not fear) what is coming and set ourselves up to handle it like the people of God.
The world as we have known it has changed. While things are beginning to calm down, we shall not return to business as usual. So with prophetic insight, we can clearly see what is coming and strategize to make the most of it. The global economy is changing and so will your local economy. If God gives you specific insight about these changes you will position yourself to thrive.
SCRIPTURE READING: 1 Chronicles 12:32 of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their command;
DEVOTION PRAYER: Dear Lord teach me to understand the seasons and times. May your word position me to thrive at all times, amen. http://www.redemptionglobal.net/2020/04/15/anticipate-tomorrow/

Posted April 14, 2020 Bishop Richard
God has made life very dynamic in that it’s always moving forward. There is no such thing as being stagnant or stuck. The music keeps playing and life keeps moving forward. The tune may change, the style, tempo and speed may change but things keep moving moving on. When we are faced with a life changing event like the current covid 19 pandemic, it may appear to many that life has stopped but the truth is things are still moving forward.
Things are no longer business as usual. We are in a season of extra ordinary business and hence we must appreciate that. So the question for you today is simple. What does usual business look like? Refuse to go back to the old normal because we have a new normal now. Change has come and we must embrace it one way or another.
SCRIPTURE READING: Job 14:11-14 As water disappears from the sea, And a river becomes parched and dries up, So man lies down and does not rise. Till the heavens are no more, They will not awake Nor be roused from their sleep. “Oh, that You would hide me in the grave, That You would conceal me until Your wrath is past, That You would appoint me a set time, and remember me! If a man dies, shall he live again? All the days of my hard service I will wait, Till my change comes.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Heavenly Father, position my mind to focus on the extraordinary. May I step out in boldness and embrace change in Jesus name, amen.
