icontact-archive.com Greetings to you all in Jesus’ name. As the Apostle John prayed for his beloved friend Gaius, we also “desire above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.” As one of the most encapsulating and comprehensive verses concerning God’s desire for your lif...
Today we reflect upon the great many sacrifices that have been made to win and defend our nation's freedoms. 'Thank You' does not seem to be enough. Yet, we thusly remember with deep gratitude your selfless love of God and country. May God be with you, and with the families of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Truly, may God be with us all as we remember!
We are praying for Midland!
We are here for you during this time. We love this city.
Thank You to all who have contributed to the Pastor's Relief Fund for our SMTI student-pastors. The first two areas have been completed, and we are remaining with 3 more areas. 127 pastors and their families have been helped through your gifts of love! May God richly bless each individual and church ministry that has supported this project!

Happy Birthday to Pastor Tim Cross! Thank you for all you do for us and the pastors in Uganda!
Happy Birthday to Dr. Mark T. Barclay! Thank you for your service to the people and to the kingdom of God. We are extremely grateful for your leadership!
I rejoice today on my 68th birthday, knowing in my heart that I have faithfully served and represented Christ in the most holy manner and with all the integrity I know how. I plan to do more for Jesus Christ in the years ahead than I ever have up to this point.
I don’t think my mom or dad had any idea about who and what their son Mark would turn out to be or the many things he would accomplish in this life. We were born and raised so poor that little hope ever existed in our home that any of us would have a good future. That demon of poverty lost, and I won. I won because I gave my life over to Jesus Christ.
Because of the grace of God on my life and my commitment to Him, I am blessed! Because I obey Him and live according to His Word, I am blessed! Because I’ve been faithful, He has sent me around the world to preach His gospel. From mountaintops, jungles, major cities, small villages, up the Amazon, down the Nile, and on every continent I have been honored and privileged to tell a lost, dying, and sighing humanity that there is hope in Jesus Christ.
These are the verses that have guided my life for all these years. Thank you for believing in me and helping me.
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Ministry updates from Brett and Bobbie Scudder.
A few changes to our lives for the next few weeks. Looks like Pastor Brett will be doing all the grocery shopping on a bike. As of last night, Uganda is on lockdown, including the ban of personal vehicles, 7:00pm curfew, and several other restrictions. If we want to go somewhere, looks like we will be walking... or biking!
[03/24/20] Hello from the Scudder family. We just wanted to give you a quick update on things here in Uganda, concerning the COVID-19 virus. Unfortunately, it has arrived here as of Friday and we currently have 8 reported cases. What does this mean for us here? Schools have been closed, so Emma and Ethan are home with us, doing all of their work online. We are thankful that their education will continue. Next, churches have been closed. With that announcement, I first thought that our workload would be eliminated. That has been quite the opposite, as Pastor Brett has been extremely busy to assure that our church family will not go without being fed the Word of God. Also, the borders have been closed, along with the airport, meaning that no flights can arrive in or depart from Uganda. So we are here. We are keeping up to date with the recommendations of the US Embassy. We pray it doesn't get to the point of departure as we have zero desire to leave our home here in Uganda. We are expecting to hear from the president later today as of what the next steps will be. So, for now, we continue on doing what we know to do! We love you all. Thank you for praying for us as we continue to pray for you as well. Much love - Bobbie
Happy Thanksgiving to all of our friends and family around the world. May Jesus be glorified today by our thankfulness towards Him for all He has done!

One thing we've learned on the mission field is that you can plan and plan and plan.... but sometimes you just have to be flexible. So, when it comes a monsoon during class time, you just need to hit the 'pause' button and enjoy the rain!

Brother Brett Scudder preached on Ezra 9 and brought some important questions to the table:
Are you all in?
Are you distracted by this world?
Are you ready to be sold out for God?
Are you focused on the Kingdom of God or the kingdom of you?
Are you ready to be DEPLOYED, on assignment, giving your all for Christ?
