The Impact of Sacrifice

By
Pr. Paul Kyalimpa

Read Jesus’ words, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it” (Matthew 16:24-25).

The devil will fight to keep you from sacrifice because he knows several things.

1. He understands that sacrifice brings the presence of God. Throughout the Old and New Testaments you will find that whenever men and women sacrificed, God’s presence came. The devil doesn’t want more of the presence of God in your life. He would love for you to live a mediocre, half-hearted life. But to follow Jesus means self-denial. When Jesus leads you to sacrifice, it will always bring a greater measure of His life and His presence into your life. And the devil understands that.

2. He understands that sacrifice opens a great channel of blessing that otherwise we will not experience. Paul wrote to the Philippians, “I’ve received your gift. It is a sacrifice, a sweet-smelling aroma to God, and my God will supply all of your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” That promise of needs being met according to a heavenly standard was directly linked to sacrificial giving.

3. He understands that those who have changed the world were always men and women who sacrificed. You will not find anyone who has changed the world for good that has not been a person of great sacrifice. The devil knows that is true!

Don’t let Satan keep you from the sacrifice God is calling you to make.

To worship and express our love for God, to proclaim the gospel, to teach and train disciples (Math 28:19-20) To preach the word of God to everyone everywhere in truth and sincerity, and without shame, with full dedication of our lives so that men will be saved – II Tim. 4:2 II Cor. 2:17.

CORE VALUES:
• Expect our people to yield spiritually – II Thess. 2:13-17.
• Expect our people to yield with:
• Integrity (true / sincerity) Matt. 22:16, Titus 2:7.
• Gentleness II Cor. 10:1-7, Phil. 2:7.
• Team work I Cor. 1:10.
• Quality work (excellence) Rom. 6:3, II Pet. 1:8
• Faithfulness I Pet. 4:10, III John 3-8
• Compassion Luke 7:11-17.

[10/30/18]   13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” 14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

- Romans 10:13-15

[10/18/18]   *Isaiah 58:11.* The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. May this be true to you this day. Amen.

[10/02/18]   *WHO KILLED SAMSON?*

*Delilah or the Philistines? None of these options is correct. Permit me to tell you how*

*Even if there were 10,000 Philistine soldiers, they couldn't have defeated Samson. Do you know why? Samson's strength was not of this world; it was divine. As long as no one can defeat God, no army could have defeated Samson no matter how strong or many*

*Samson was raised a terror for the Philistines. He killed a lion with his bare hands, lifted the gate of a city on his shoulder and walked over 46 miles; he killed 300 Philistines soldiers with a jaw bone. What if he got a spear or sword?*

*So, who killed Samson? The answer is Samson. Yes! Samson killed himself! A man is his greatest enemy. What an enemy cannot do to a man, he would do to himself. Samson killed himself. He delivered himself to the lap of Delilah and used his own mouth to tell the secret of his power. His life promised so much but delivered so little*

*The Bible says, "People ruin their lives by their own stupidity, so why does GOD always get blamed?" (Proverbs 19:3. MSG)*

*Nobody can ruin your life except you do with your own hands. Although you can blame it on God or parents or government, you're the architect of your life; you are your greatest enemy. Even if your grandparents had done any evil, until you press the trigger it won't explode on your face*

*No Satan or witch has the power to destroy you no matter how much they hate you, you're the only one who can kill yourself by your actions*

*When the enemies try in vain to kill you, they lie in wait and allow you to kill yourself by your actions.*

*Goliath, the champion couldn't hurt David but adultery destroyed his family. The gentile nations couldn't hurt Moses, but anger killed him. When king Jeroboam stretched his hand against the prophet, his hand dried up; he couldn't hurt him, but his own disobedience turned him to a prey for a lion. Your greatest enemy isn't outside there, it's in you*

*Millions are killing themselves with their own mouth by what they eat and drink. Millions die of sexually transmitted diseases every year. Would you blame a witch for that?*

*Hundreds of thousands of divorce and breakup happen every year because people destroy their own marriages and homes with their own hands. Like Proverbs 14:1 says "Every wise woman builds her house, but the foolish one tears it down with her own hands.*

*If you fail, don't look far away, look inwards because what's killing you is inside of you. What you yield yourself to will either kill or save you. If you continue yielding yourself to fornication, that's what will kill you both spiritually or physically*

*Everyone has a seed of sin deposited in him through his Adamic nature. True repentance kills that seed but if you don't kill that anger, pride, jealousy, greed, lust, it won't just kill you in the future, it might have been killing you already. That's why no matter how much people die of cancer and diabetics people won't stop smoking and drinking because a man signs his own death warrant*

*Kill that seed before it kills you. Quit that habit, now! Because your greatest enemy isn't a man or a spirit or Satan but you. Yes, You!*
*Bless someone with this message .*

[09/26/18]   There are 168 hours in a week. Most people attend church for an hour on Sunday. Imagine what could happen if people put half as much effort into worship, praise, prayer, love, kindness, generosity, forgiveness, gratitude, etc., the other 167 hours of the week. What we do OUTSIDE of "church" is more reflective of our faith than what we do inside.

God Bless.

[09/24/18]   Then Peter spoke up, “We have left everything to follow you!”
“Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”
Mark 10:28-31

[08/21/18]   For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life because of me and the gospel will save it.
For what does it benefit someone to gain the whole world and yet lose his life?
What can anyone give in exchange for his life?
Mark 8:35-37

[08/09/18]   TIME TO GROW UP
Ministry is not about money or power to control. Ministry is all about relationship and ability to share information to affect our fame, position, possession and power in positive lifestyle for the glory of God and for the good of others. May we be faithfu in using money as a resource or tool not to control others but rather to glorify God to whom all things belong. Amen.

[07/26/18]   TIME TO GROW UP: 2 CORINTHIANS 8:1-8
Generosity is indeed a lifestyle. I realize that generous givers do not hold on to their resources or gifts. They have known the secret of God owning everything and they are managers of God's blessings in this life. They are willing to circulate or share God's blessing with others. And the more they do it, the more God will circulate more blessing for them to share. For this reason, I am more than convinced to offer my life, time and resources for the kingdom as worth anything. God bless you as you render Him the praise, honor and glory.

[07/13/18]   What does the Bible say about attitude?

When Paul writes that our “attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus,” he had summarized in the previous two verses what such an attitude was: selflessness, humility, and service. “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others” (Philippians 2:3-4). In other words, the attitude a Christian should reflect is one that focuses on the needs and interests of others. Without question, that does not come naturally to us. When Christ came into the world, He established a whole new attitude to relationships with others. One day when His disciples were arguing among themselves regarding who was to be greatest in His kingdom, Jesus said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave – just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:25-28). Jesus is teaching us that, when we become preoccupied with our own things, it can cause conflicts and other problems with people we know. Instead, God wants us to have an attitude of serious, caring involvement in the concerns of others.

[07/10/18]   God is with you in the Storm of life, and His Power and authority Will always be displayed, so depend on the Almighty God as you go through the storm of life . Mathew 8:23-27

[05/24/18]   Never get disappointed when things happen outside your expectation. Remember that the greatest glory in life is rising when you fall. Be strong and have faith. No matter how dark it looks, no matter how long it has been,God will always finish what He has started . Life is always a challenge, but GOD sustains us all.
