God loves us

*No Matter How Badly You Mess Up, God Offers Mercy*

No matter what you’re going through, you can live with hope. That’s the consistent, overriding message of the Bible. God will always treat you with grace and mercy.
Peter writes to those who are already believers, “All honor to God, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ; for it is his boundless mercy that has given us the privilege of being born again” (1 Peter 1:3 TLB).

The more we understand grace, the more we’ll be amazed by it. It’s completely undeserved. It’s totally unmerited. It is not something that you could earn or work for. It’s just a free gift of God’s mercy.

You can’t make God love you any more than he loves you right now. You can’t make him love you any less. His love is based on his mercy for you.

God’s Word tells us, “When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit” (Titus 3:4-5 NLT).

This is extremely important to understand. When you make mistakes as a believer, God doesn’t get mad at you. God doesn’t want to get even with you. God doesn’t start planning to mess up your life. God always acts in mercy toward you. Why? Because you’re covered in the blood of Jesus Christ when you’ve accepted him as Savior. That’s why God responds in mercy every time you mess up.

And that can give you hope.

Dr. D.K. Olukoya

Many years ago I interpreted the saying “Marriage is not for small boys” to mean small boys in terms of age, until I visited a female mentor that has been in marriage for 47 years. I asked her, “So what is the secret of your over 47 successful years in marriage?”

Beaming with smiles, she retorted, “My son, the expectations you bring into marriage will spell either its doom or success. I married my husband without expectations of enjoying his money or him buying cars for me but, with time, my patience, hard work and God-fearing attitude yielded results of getting cars, houses, taking care of our children and all that.

“You see, if a married lady keeps on nagging in the house, she pushes the spirit of her husband away from the home. If you make the man unhappy, you make the house uncomfortable.
“So, I married without high expectations from my husband but simply to make him happy always.

“Yes, for the past 47 years, I would be the first to get up from bed and the last to go back to bed. I bathe the kids, do devotions with them, prepare breakfast for my husband and boil hot water for him to bathe. I iron the clothes he would wear to work, kiss him and wish him the best in his daily endeavors.”

Then I asked the old lady, “So then, what does the man do in return?” She laughed all heart and hearty and replied, “You see, this is the mistake you young ones make in marriage. YOU DO SOMETHING FOR YOUR HUSBAND OR WIFE AND EXPECT SOME REWARD FROM HIM OR HER! THIS IS WRONG!!

“When it becomes your attitude to only please your husband or wife always, the other person responds naturally. Indeed, if nothing touches the palm tree, it doesn’t rattle.”

She continued, “My son, never carry ‘How Rich or Poor your Family is’ into marriage. After all, you knew very well the status of your family and decided to marry that man or woman!

“Love only compels/leads would-be couples into marriage but it doesn’t sustain marriage. Rather, understan

Walk in the Light as He's in the Light -1 John 1:7

When you hit a setback, it’s okay to tell God you’re mad, you’re sad, or you’re depressed. It’s okay to express all your emotions to God.
Just don’t get bitter.

Bitterness is saying you don’t trust God when troubles hit. It’s like a poison that will tear your life apart if you let it.

Job endured all kinds of problems. He lost his family, his fortune, and his health. But instead of becoming bitter, he kept his focus on the big picture.

Job says, “I was born with nothing, and I will die with nothing. The Lord gave, and now he has taken away. May his name be praised!” (Job 1:21 GNT).Job understood that God was still in control even though everything else seemed to be falling apart.

I was there when each of my three children was born. They didn’t come with anything. They didn’t have toys, a portfolio, a wardrobe, or a briefcase. I’ve also preached enough funerals to know that no one drives a trailer of possessions to the graveside.

You come with nothing. You leave with nothing.

When setbacks come your way—and they most certainly will come—you must focus on the fact that God has your big picture in mind. Many things will change in your life. Your faith will be tested and tried.

Like Job, you haven’t been promised a perfect life. You likely won’t get an explanation when setbacks come. But you can choose to trust God anyway. No matter what setbacks you face, trust that:

God will never stop loving you.
God has a plan for your life.
God cares about every detail of your life.
God is in control of things even when you don’t understand it.
God will protect you.
Regardless of the setback, that’s the big picture about your life. You can base your life on these five truths when everything else falls apart.

You won’t get bitter if you keep your eyes on a big picture like that.

Marriage - The Importance of Intimacy (A Clean Aspect)

This Note has went out to all of my friends, in the hope to help them with their marriages, and all that to the Glory of God!

Many of women doesn't realize the importance of intimacy between her and her husband. It is Intimacy that keeps the husband emotionally & physically close to her, that ties the bond of love in their marriage. That is how they become one flesh, in the body & in the heart!

Ladies your husband wants you to find them attractive & please escuse the french, but sexy to. And if you make it to where the husband always has to chase you for intimacy and you not chase him for intimacy, he is going to feel that you do not find him attractive, nor sexy at all. And then you are treating intimacy as though it was a duty rather than a desire of love on your part.

Ladies if you are not careful that will cause your husband to be tempted to look in other pastures and graze in those other pastures as well.

It is written; 1 Corinthians 7:4 The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.

5 Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. NKJV

Ladies do not deprive your husband, If you do, that will open the doors up to temptation, and if he or you give into that temptation of adultery, then you and him both are to blame for that sin! And God will hold you accountable as well as he holds your husband accountable.

IT IS WRITTEN regarding causing others to sin - Luke 17:1 He said to His disciples, "It is inevitable that stumbling blocks come, but woe to him through whom they come!

2 "It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he would cause one of these little ones to stumble. NASU

Now ladies Jesus may not be as hard on you because you are the mans wife, that I am not sure about. But if you cause your husband to sin because you withhold your body that does not belong to you from him, than you are responsible for your husband temptation of adultery that causes him to sin. (Wife's Body belongs to her Husband & Husbands Body belongs to his wife, See 1Co 7:4)

And in these tougher times of life that causes so much stress, intimacy becomes all the more important, because it is a fact that intimacy relieves stress and anxiety as well. To which that would help much more in dealing with stress to which will make for a much more happier marriage, and keep the husband & wife closer in these tough times of life.

And ladies don't forget that the divorce rates, and adulterous affairs are just as high in the churches, in the Christian Communities as much as it is in the non-christian communities.

So Ladies what is your next step with your husband? Are you just going to flatter him with no action behind it? Or are you going to flatter him and do action, be intimate with him in a Loving and Romantic Way?

This will help to put an end to divorce, to obey God and His Holy Words by being completely submissive to your husbands!

[08/06/18]   STAND STRONG - Hebrews 10:23

Brothers and sisters in Christ I’d like to encourage you this hour. Hold fast to the confession of your Faith. Be focused, be steadfast, be strong.

The work Christ has done is complete. He has taken away your sin so that you may walk in everlasting righteousness. Christ has done everything so that you may stand firm in your Faith. Keep your eyes focused on Christ.
He who promised is Faithful.

Do not throw away your trust in God. Do not be enticed to look back through coercion, persecution, tribulation or doubt. His promises never fail, you will never be disappointed, Christ will do as has said.

Let us therefore walk boldly in the righteousness of God. There is a rich reward to come. Be faithful in the profession of your Faith. Be steadfast in your Faith, persevere in your Faith, be strengthened in your Faith, Amen.

[01/22/18]   Holy ambition
It is a good thing to be controlled by a holy ambition and it is “holy” because its aim is holy thus to see people from all the nations who have never heard of Jesus believe in him and become obedient to him and be saved by him from their sin and from God’s wrath. Secondly, it comes from the holy God and his holy word. It is right and it is good to be controlled by a holy ambition. However not everyone should have Paul’s ambition. One plants, another waters (1 Corinthians 3:6-8). Each has his own gift (1 Corinthians 7:7). Each stands or falls his on his own master (Romans 14:4). But I think God would be pleased if each of his children had a holy ambition.
The holy ambition comes from a personal encounter with the living Christ, shaped and informed and empowered by the written word of God. As you meditate on the law of the Lord day and night (cf. Psalm 1:2) as you immerse yourself in God’s word he comes and takes some truth of that word and burns it into your heart until it becomes a holy ambition. If that hasn’t happened yet, saturate yourself with the word of God and ask him for it. Amen

[01/15/18]   If you spend time praying for people instead of talking about them, you'll get better results.

The reason we cannot save ourselves is because we all miss the mark and fall short of God’s standard of absolute perfection.
“Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.” (Matthew 5:48)
No matter how good we are, any sin, no matter how trivial it may appear to be, spoils the perfection that God requires.
“For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.” (James 2:10)
Whilst some people are better than others, being better is not good enough. It is like two people trying to jump across a deep chasm. If one falls only a couple of feet short of the other side, he is no better off than the other who only makes it half way.

Why should God offer anyone the gift of eternal life?

[12/23/17]   Love you all and wish you the best of God's grace and love Merry Christmas and Happy new year declaring the favor of God .......hey I only wish you the best

[10/04/17]   Please come and be part of these!!!

Most Christians in this area of Buloba don’t know yet their spiritual gifts and callings therefore they are simply church goers other than being ministers to disciple others.
The pastors have not also taken a step to help their members to discover their God ordained purpose in life this therefore affects the sustainability of the church’s ministry.
Africa Mission Network has therefore come to help the believers and pastors from the different churches in Buloba discover their spiritual gifts and callings so that leaders can be identified and be developed for ministry.

To help believers discover their spiritual gifts and callings in life.

I. To find out why Christians find it hard to discover their spiritual gifts and callings in life.
II. To ensure that all believers will understand the concept of spiritual gifts and calling.
III. To help believers answer the spiritual gift analysis questionnaire so that they can do self-discovery.

I. At the end of the conference, believers will be able to tell the difference and categories of spiritual gifts and callings.
II. At the end of the conference, believers will be in position to carry out a self-evaluation to know their spiritual gifts and callings.
III. At the end of the conference, believers will be able to know how to use their spiritual gifts and callings.

I. Prayer
II. Praise and Worship
III. Teaching sessions
IV. Group discussion and Presentation

[09/13/17]   Helpful tips for sharing your faith

God has called each of us to partner in His redemptive plan. Some of the greatest joys in the Christian life come from making Jesus known to those who don't yet know Him personally.

As the body of Christ, we are Jesus' hands and feet on earth to continue the work that He began. As finite beings we do not have the foresight of knowing the cravings and challenges of each individual we share with; however, God knows the deepest secrets of every person. Through the Holy Spirit He is more than able to speak through us to touch the depths of the human heart. Only the Spirit can give us the words to convict and compel others to follow Christ.

[08/30/17]   (Networking for Holistic Development)

Africa Mission Network is an Evangelical (School of Ministry) Network for Holistic Development and Advocacy Ministry. It was started in 2012 by Pastor Samuel and Consolate Okiror as an EQUIPPING, EMPOWERING & A SERVICE MINISTRY to meet the emergency need of Missionaries in Africa.
Africa Mission Network (AMNET) is non-denominational CBO, registered as a Christian Ministry in the Republic of Uganda in 2016. It is a response by the concerned local Evangelical Christians to the worsening problems of Spiritual Poverty and lack of empowerment on the rural people and communities. AMNET began its operations in 2012, initially in Bukedea district from where it has extended to Wakiso district.

AMNET in its development efforts is addressing the severe poverty afflicting rural communities in a Christian Holistic Development Approach. With this approach, individual people’s needs are addressed and communities are treated as whole entities to make sense of “Community Development and Growth”.

What we do
We aim to be the world’s leading in holistic ministry through; Our Leadership Development Programs of equipping men and women to become transitional Christian leaders who can in turn influence their own Churches, Communities and Nation, we therefore teach and train in the areas of Christian Ministry, Entrepreneurship and Financial Management.

In its activities, all people in the communities covered benefit without discrimination on any ground. Thus, AMNET aim to exalt Jesus Christ through;
• Leadership Development.
• Entrepreneurship and Finance Management Skilling.
• Community Advocacy on Health Care and Livelihood Project Development.
• Supporting and Advocating for Orphaned and Vulnerable Children, Elderly and Widowed persons.
• Training and Mentoring in the areas of Christian Ministry, i.e. Church Planting, Evangelism, Discipleship, Pastoral Care, Biblical Counseling, Church Administration, MDD Ministry, Children’s Ministry, Teaching Ministry, Prophetic Ministry, Prayer and Intercessory Ministry, Youth Ministry, Elderly Ministry, Persons with Special Needs Ministry, Hospitality/Ushering Ministry.

“The local church is the hope of the world, and its future rests primarily in the hands of its leaders,” said Bill Hybels. Africa needs Christian leaders to rise up to share the compassion of Christ and the gospel of hope in a society that is desperately longing for transformation. AMNET contends that "Africa is beyond bemoaning the past for its problems. The task of undoing that past is on the shoulders of African leaders themselves, with the support of those willing to join in a continental renewal. We have a new generation of leaders who know that Africa must take responsibility for its own destiny, that Africa will uplift itself only by its own efforts in partnership with those who wish her well," Nelson Mandela. Therefore, AMNET seeks to train everyone and mostly Christian leaders because they have the capacity to transform the church. If you can transform a church you can transform a community and if you can transform a community you can transform a country.
