Day 6/21 Days of Prayer and Fasting: stand in prayer for the people and leaders of your nation.

Moses fasted for 40 days and nights before he received the 10 commandments. King David fasted for his son, after God had told him that he would die. Elijah fasted for 40 days as he made a journey in the wilderness to hear from God. Queen Esther fasted along with all the Jews for God’s protection against their enemies, Daniel fasted for 3 weeks for God to show him what would happen to the people of Israel in the future. Jesus fasted regularly. We must be willing to go through the inconvenience of prayer and fasting because that is how we train/prepare to win the significant battles we will face.
