"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks." Let's cry to God to teach us how to worship him from our hearts. May God bless you dearly.
Pr Alice Mwiza.

[02/13/18]   Beloved, it's so good to be excited about what we read in our bibles and desire to share it with others. ''Now the Bereans received the message with great eagerness and examined the scriptures everyday to see if what Paul said was true. " Acts 17:11
God bless you
Pr Alice Mwiza

[02/13/18]   Praise God beloved, we need to ask God to make us passionate about Sharing him and seeking opportunities to do so, "He said to them, go to into all the world and preach the good news of all creation. " Mark 16:15

[02/13/18]   Good morning brethren, as children of God, let's always strive to earnestly pray for the imprisoned by difficult situations. "So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him. "
God bless you so much.
Pr Alice Mwiza.

Brethren, let's all have the hunger and thirst after the Lord, and to experience satisfaction in our relationship with him. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Mathew 5:6
God bless you
Pr Alice Mwiza

Child of God, good morning. Meanwhile, the moment we get tired of waiting, God's Spirit is right alongside helping us along. He does our praying in and for us. Let's always invite the Holy Spirit to guide us.
God bless you.
Pr Alice Mwiza

2Timothy 2:8 says "I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing." Let's ask God to help us to be more focused on talking to Him, rather than talking about others. God bless you, Pr Alice Mwiza

Praise God brethren, the end of all things is near. Therefore, be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. Let's all focus on God and deepen our relationship with Him through prayer. God bless you.
Pr Alice Mwiza

And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, above all, taking the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
Ephesians 6:15-16
Pr Alice Mwiza

Stand therefore, having your loins girded about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness.
We need to practice righteousness as the word of God says in Ephesians 6:14

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
The first armor is to be strong in the Lord. That is how Source of Light christians were advised by Pr Alice Mwiza during the 21days of praying and fasting.

Theme:- Enlarge the place of your tent! Isaiah 54:2

Brethren, as I meditate on prayer each time, i feel the strength of prayer. As an individual, you need to know three things:- what you want to pray for, how to pray for it and when to pray for it. When you ask God for something in the right way, and at the right time, you can't fail to get to get your answer. Dear children of God, let's always pray rightly.
God bless you

[11/03/17]   One thing we desired of the Lord, that will we seek after; that we may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of our lives, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple. (Psalm 27:4)
God bless you
Pr Alice Mwiza

[11/02/17]   Ladies, in most cases, a wife's duties to her husband and her love for the Lord should not be in conflict, for both are the will of God. The time a woman spends in the word and prayer should not keep her from meeting the needs of her husband and children, to the contrary, it should make her a better wife and mother. As she spends time with the Lord, she will be more reverent, loving, kind, and attentive toward her husband; she will have graceful, humble, joyous, spirit; and she will seek to be faithful in meeting the practical needs of her household. God bless you dearly
Pr Alice Mwiza

[10/27/17]   God makes the words of the Bible a sacrament, i.e., the means whereby we partake of His life; it is one of His secret doors for the communication of His life to us.
As we read, we ask God to give us understanding. We ask Him to open up to us those portions that are difficult to grasp. We ask Him to make familiar passages fresh and alive to our hearts. We ask Him to reveal Himself, His heart, and His ways to us. God bless you.
Pr Alice Mwiza.

Beloved, the mere reading of the word of God has power to communicate the life of God to us mentally, morally and spirutually.

Brethren, it's important to read the word of God. The Gospels record several instances where Jesus turned to His critics and said, "Haven't you read in the law.....? " "Have you never read in the scriptures....?" (Mathew 12:5, 21:42, 12:3, 19:4,.21:16) In other words, He expected them to have read and applied the scripture, and when they needed to be corrected, He sent them right back to the word of God.
It was while the Ethiopian official was reading the scroll of the book of Isaiah that his eyes were opened and God gave his heart repentance, faith, and salvation. (Acts 8:27-39)
God bless you.
Pr Alice Mwiza

[10/25/17]   Dear children of God, as we meet with God in our daily devotional time, we should not forget that the ultimate purpose is not simply to gain more knowledge about God or His word, but to know Him and to enjoy intimate communion with Him. We might be seasoned students of the word. We might even be bible study leaders. But if our study of the word does not lead us to know God, we miss the whole purpose then.
God bless you.

Beloved, in order to cultivate intimacy, husbands and wives need to spend time alone with each other, away from friends, acquaintances, and even their own children.
Jesus understood the importance of getting away from the crowd in order to sustain an intimate relationship with His Father. Luke 5:15 tells us that when news about Him spread, "crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses." Jesus had compassion on the multitudes and gave Himself sacrificially to minister to their needs. But He knew He could not meet their needs if He did not draw upon His relationship with His Father. So, the very next verse tells us that Jesus often "withdrew to lonely places and prayed" (Luke 5:16)
Its better for us to spend time alone in prayers. God bless you.
Pr Alice Mwiza.

Beloved, we have all faced times when we just didn't have the hunger or desire to meet with the Lord. In the physical realm, when we are hungry, we eat, at which point we are no longer hungry. The more we eat, the less hungry we are. However, in the spiritual world, just the opposite is true. The more we eat spiritual food, the more hungry we become and the more we want to eat. The more you taste of the word of God, the more you will long for it. The more you partake of Jesus, the Bread of Life, the more you will hunger for Him. If you do not have an appetite for spiritual food, there is a chance you have not been fueling that appetite.
God bless you.
Pr Alice Mwiza.

The scripture says, " In your light, we see light" (Psalms 36:9)KJV And "the entrance of the words giveth light" (Psalms 119:130)KJV. Do you need light for your pathway? Do you need direction for how to raise that child for whom no textbook was ever written? How to respond to that overbearing fellow employee? How to encourage a friend who is going through a crisis? How to care for an aging parent with Alzheimer ? How do you get direction? Brethren, "the entrance of the words giveth light"
Pr Alice Mwiza.

Beloved, most if us were born "fixers". Our natural tendency is to take matters into our own hands, to fret and worry, and to demand solutions. In this process, we often bypass the one truly effective means we have of impacting the lives of those around us
A little plaque on my friend's desk reads, "have you prayed about it?" Unfortunately, she often overlooks that simple question until she exhausts all the her ideas and solutions.
Am convinced that if you and i would spend a fraction of the time praying about our concerns for others that we do worrying about them, talking about them to others, and trying to fix them ourselves, we would see a whole lot more results. God bless you.
Pr Alice Mwiza

Brethren, have you ever thought about what life would be like if God had never spoken? What if He had never communicated with man? What if He had never given us His written word? Try to imagine a world in which no one had ever heard the voice of God, a world in which there was no Bible.
Pr Alice Mwiza.

As children of God, we yearn to grow in prayer. When the disciples saw Jesus' prayer life, they were moved to plead with him, "Lord, teach us to pray." And He did. Along with those disciples, we have also studied the prayer life of the Lord Jesus. Let us be touched by the intimate communion Jesus had with His heavenly father. Let us continue crying out to Him, "Lord, please teach us to pray."
Pr Alice Mwiza.

God's beloved, in case you happen to ask any one how they are doing today, and there is a good chance the answer will be "busy" or "exhausted!" Overcrowded schedules and stressed-out lives seem to be the order of the day. I dont think the issue is just a matter of how much we have to do. If it were, all we'd need is a vacation. But most of us seem to have had the same experience of taking time off, only to come back more exhausted than when we left. I am convinced that one of the major reasons we cannot handle the demands of day-to-day living is that our spirits are weary. Our souls need to be restored. And that is another purpose of setting aside time to be alone in God's presence each day.
As we walk through each day, responding to the needs of those around us, we can become physically, emotionally, and spiritually depleted. God has a never-ending supply of grace, strength, and wisdom available that He wants to flow through us to others. And we need to keep coming back into His presence to get our supply replenished.
Enjoy your Wednesday!!
Pr Alice Mwiza.

At the Last Super, taking the place of a slave, Jesus went around the table with His disciples, washing the feet of each disciples. When he came to Peter, he taught a very important lesson about this matter of cleansing. Peter was not comfortable with the whole idea of the Master's washing his feet. In response to Peter's protest, Jesus told him that apart from being washed he could have no part with Christ.
As far as our future prospect is concerned, "before the foundation of the world," God chose us and determined "that we should be holy and without blame before him" (Ephesians 1:4KJV). He predestined us to be a holy bride for His holy son and one day we will be just that. The pure, spotless, undefiled son of God cannot walk in oneness with impure, defiled believers. "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" the prophet Amps asked (Amos 3:3KJV). Your iniquities have separated you from your God (Isaiah 59:2)
When Peter realised the cost of refusing cleansing, he decided to go all the way. "Then Lord, not just my feet but my hands and my head as well, said Peter." (John 13:9)
Jesus went on to explain that a person who has had a bath needs only to wash his feet, his while body is clean.
But when we allow our lives to be soiled by this world or by our own choices, we need to return to be washed once more, thus repentence!
Pr Alice Mwiza.

[09/30/17]   Beloved, the purpose of spending time alone with the Lord is that we might intercede on behalf of the needs of others. As we linger in His presence, we find Him to be a "good friend closer than a brother," a good shepherd, a loving Father who delights to meet the needs of His children. We drink deeply from the well of His love and goodness untill our own souls are full and satisfied. We look into His face and find grace and acceptance. We listen to His heart, learn of His ways, and recieve His provision and direction for our lives.
Now, there comes to our mind a friend who is in need. We would gladly meet that need out of own supply, if we could. But our meager resources are not sufficient for our friend's great need. Then we remember that there is one whose supply never runs out and and who delights to give good gifts to His children. And so we are emboldened to approach Him on behalf of those we love.
We go to His door and knock. When He delays coming to the door, we continue knocking, appealing earnestly for our friend in need, until He comes and grants our request.
"The hungry friend needing help, the praying friend seeking the help, and the Mighty Friend, loving to give as much as he needeth." (Luke 11:5-13)
Pr Alice Mwiza.

[09/28/17]   Child of God, during seasons of spiritual dryness, ask God to show you any specific issues that may be creating a barrier in your relationship with Him. Is there any known sin that you have not confessed or repented of? Is there unforgiveness in your heart toward a family member or an individual who has wronged you? Is there some step of obedience you know God wants you to take that you have delayed? Some women speak of allowing anger or disappointment to put up walls in their relationship with God. All of these issues can produce spiritual dryness. All we need is a fresh touch from God to give us the desire to be in the word more so that we can be fresh from spiritual dryness.
Pr Alice Mwiza.

[09/21/17]   Dear child of God, have a lifestyle of praise.
Praise is an expression of faith and an act of the will. It is not based on how we feel, David understood this concept as few others in the scriptures.
In Psalms 34, we find David in one of the darkest periods of his life. Years earlier, he had recieved God's promise that he was to be the next king, but the insecure egomaniac who occuied the throne was determined to take his life. So David found himself living as a fugitive in the wilderness, fleeing for his life. All the ingredients were there to set him up for a major depression. But instead, he madd a choice,.....a choice to praise the Lord, regardless of his natural feelings.
I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. (Psalms 34:1)
