MATHEW 3:2

Our Pastoral team is headed by Pastor Benjamin and Charity Nebechukwu. It’s our heart’s desire as a Ministry to plant vibrant Christ-Headed Home fellowship-based, Bible-believing churches with the focus on the Great Commission up to the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8).

God helping us, we currently have branches in Fort Portal in Western Uganda, behind Gardens Restaurant, TLWA Kampala East in Bweyogerere next to Mamerito Hotel, and TLWA Kampala South in Entebbe, behind Mayor’s Gardens. All our branches conduct similar services and activities like the mother church: they are a replica of the mother church. Please find time, worship with us and your life will not remain the same.

The Living Word Assembly believes in the following:

1.Deliverance as the will and desire of God for His Children according to Obadiah 17 which says, “Upon mount Zion shall be deliverance and there shall be holiness and the house of Jacob shall possess their possession”.

2.Holiness within and without as the only way of living a fulfilled Christian life and going to heaven.

3.The life, death and resurrection of our Jesus Christ.

4.Salvation by which men will be saved as a finished work given to man by grace through the belief in our Lord Jesus Christ.

5.The church as a body of Christ, also the congregation of believers.

6.The baptism, gift and fruit of the Holy Spirit.

7.Water baptism by immersion and outward show of an inward transformation

8.Holy Communion as the body and blood of Jesus Christ.

9.Divine Healing.

10.That those who died in the lord will be translated during the coming of Jesus so as to be with the Lord forever.

In WHOM do you believe?

Verse for the day
Jesus answered and said unto them, this is the work of God, that ye believe on him who hath sent - John 6:29

Most of us know God through his glory in creation and through the special revelation of his word in the Bible. Believing in God means entrusting yourself to Him. It is depositing your heart and life with God. It is knowing the God who supplied all your needs, the one who fights your battles and you hold your peace etc. Every time you are faced with storms or with hopeless situations, knowing "whom you believe in" shall make you confident that God would work out his plan in your life.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
The level of your knowledge of God determines his level of manifestation in your life.

Exodus: 9:22-26

SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS:

Thematic Reading: John 10:1-18

Who is your shepherd?

We see 2 shepherds in the text the 1st one is the thief (devil) and the 2nd one is Jesus Himself.

We have a choice to choose between the 2 shepherds as this determines the outcome in our lives.

The bad shepherd!
》Jesus is clear about the bad shepherd who is the thief and his agenda is to steal, kill and destroy.
》In times like these, the devil has come to steal our taste, smell, lungs and cause death, leaving many not knowing where to turn to because our choices are limited further with the current lock down.

》The devil has destroyed businesses, things are tightened, travels have been destroyed, things are not exciting any more. There is confusion everywhere like in medical fraternity and school calendars. If you are under the control of the devil things are really bad.

》The good news is that we are under the instruction of the good shepherd who brings with him showers of blessings.

The showers of blessings do the following:

¤ They leave us with experiences of Life where physical death has nothing to do with our original life. We have the blessing of abundant life. John 10:10

¤ We have the blessing of peace because of the good shepherd. Peace means we are still stable in the midst of the raging boat! Peace of God gives us the confidence to face the storms of life. The invisible God protects us from the I visible enemy.

¤ Brings joy; this joy comes from deep with in not determined by circumstances. It is Imparted by the Holy Spirit.

¤ It also give us hope and faith, Romans 5:5, hope keeps us going, looking forward and knowing that we will get there because of the love of God. The showers of Blessings are those are blessings that one cannot buy.

The Good Shepherd John 10:11
▪︎ We are blessed because we have a shepherd who laid down His life for us, blocking all the enemies of our lives because the good shepherd is the door way.
▪︎The good shepherd loves us enough and cares for us.
▪︎Defends us from the wrath of God. We are special to him that is why he laid down His life for us.
▪︎ Good shepherd knows his own people by name John 10:14, we love the good shepherd because he first loved us, what a blessing this is. I am known by the creator of the universe. Matthew 10:29-31, He says we are far more valuable than the birds in the sky, many of us leave in the world paralysed by fear yet we have a good shepherd. Isaiah 49:15-16, God promises never to forget us! He has engraved us at the palm of His hands.

▪︎Our God cares enough more than we can imagine, John 15:15, we are not servants any more but the good shepherd's friends. It's no wonder we sing what a friend we have in Jesus!

John 14:2, God knows us as individuals, He is seeking for that missing one sheep. His concern for us, is motivated by his love for us.

In the midst of this pandemic:
》Jesus is here and cares for us. Isaiah 41:10, 43:1-3.

》Let us realise that our God will allow us to walk over this pandemic because He is with us.

》Whereas we are in the situation and setting we needn't be scared because he cares for us, Hebrews 13:5 - God knew that this would happen because he understands beyond us.
》May we focus and look unto Jesus and not the raging wave of the pandemic.
》We have Jesus and are hopeful that this will surely come to an end.

The anointing for exemption scriptures:
☆ Ezekiel 9:4-6
☆ Genesis 4:15
☆ Psalms 105:13-15
☆ Galatians 6:17

THE POWER OF PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT

VERSE FOR THE DAY
But you, beloved, build yourselves up in your most holy faith, pray in the Holy Spirit -Jude 1:20 (ESV)

Praying in the Holy spirit is the personal, uninterpreted prayer language given to the believer when they are baptised in the Holy spirit. The baptism in the Holy spirit is a vital milestone in the believer's progress because it grants full ascendancy to the spirit. Praying in the spirit strengthens you. A person who speaks in tongues is strengthened personally. It also helps you pray according to God's will and ensures your answers!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Praying in tongues is the irrigation of the spirit with intelligence

I AM ALL IN

VERSE FOR THE DAY
Whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men - Colossians 3:23

To be "all in" means you are in for something 100%. It means you are in agreement with a certain position. When you give your life to Jesus, it doesn't mean just making a decision to accept Jesus one day and then going back to living like you were before you met him. Your ways must be all in! Actions speak louder than words, your actions must depict total surrender.
Your attitude as well must be all in.
Success comes easily when you have a positive attitude towards what you have set to do and if you are fully invested in it.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
To be lost in God is to be the best in life.

HEARING GOD CLEARLY

VERSE FOR THE DAY
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me -John 10:27

Many people are imploring God to speak, when it's our hearing that needs to be adjusted. People have regretted not "listening to the inner voice". As Christians we need to be sensitive to discern the voice of the Lord. Many of us are using our voices to overshadow the voice of the Lord. We need to lay aside our desires and fully listen and obey the voice of the Lord. Lots of voices clamour for our attention, but we must be able to discern the voice of God from other voices or thoughts.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
There is always a voice behind every verse of the scripture.

LET YOUR HEART NOT BE TROUBLED

VERSE FOR THE DAY
Let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in God, believe also in me -John 12:1

We are troubled by big things and the little things, but Jesus tells us not to let our hearts be troubled. As believers, the Prince of Peace lives inside of us. Despite the troubles we may go through, the only cure is Jesus. To find peace amidst the storms of life, learn to rely on the Holy spirit to teach you peace when your heart feels troubled. Actively remind yourself to not be troubled. Stop and pray immediately and consistently.
Receive the grace to remain calm in the storms of life.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Until you are tested, you cannot be trusted.
