1SAMUEL 2:35 Is our key Verse! The Revival House is an apostolic and prophetic Church that aims at reviving the body of Christ through expressing and revealing his heart and mind in all aspects! -This Church was initiated by Apostle Reuben (Pr.Reuben) in march 2015 and works wholeheartedly to revive the body of Christ through the true word of God,that is expressed through preaching, singing (music) ,and other relevant means! CORE VALUES. -Worship (John 4:23,24) -Revival (1Samuel 2:35) -Evangelism.(Mathew 28:19) We do all these by the spirit of God not by flesh -Philippians 4:13. NB:In line with the word of God in 1Timothy 4:1-16,we do administration and leadership! OUR BELIEFS. The Bible The Bible is God’s Word to all people. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because it was inspired by God, the Bible is truth without any mixture of error and is completely relevant to our daily lives. Deuteronomy 4:1-2; Psalms 119:11, 89, 105; Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 22:29; John 5:39; 16:13-15; 17:17; Romans 15:4; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 1:1-2; 4:12; 1 Peter 1:25; 2 Peter 3:16 Trinity God has existed in relationship with Himself for all eternity. He exists as one substance in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Although each member of the Trinity serves different functions, they each possess equal power and authority. Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 61:1; Matthew 28:19; Mark 1:9-11; Luke 1:35; John 5:21-23; 14:10, 16; Romans 8:9-11; 1 Corinthians 8:6; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Hebrews 1:8-10; James 2:19 The Father God is great: He is all powerful, all knowing, ever present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, Holy. It is in Him that we live, move and exist. God is good. He is our Father. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises. Exodus 3:14; Numbers 23:19; Leviticus 11:44-45; 19:2; Psalm 11:4-6; Malachi 3:6; John 3:16; 4:24; 5:26; 14:1; Acts 17:28; Romans 3:3-4 The Son Jesus Christ is completely human but, at the same time, completely God. He is the only plan for bringing people who are far from God back into a right relationship with God. He lived a perfect life, so that He could be a substitution for us in satisfying God’s demands for perfection. He defeated death in His resurrection so that we can have life. Isaiah 7:14; 53; Matthew 1:18-23; 3:17; 8:29; 14:33; 16:16; 28:5-6; Luke 22:70; 24:46-47; John 1:1, 14; 10:30; 11:25-27; 17:1-5; Acts 1:9; 2:22-24; 7:55-56; Romans 1:3-4; 3:23-26; 8:1-3; 10:4; 1 Corinthians 8:6; 2 Corinthians 5:19-21; Gal 4:4-5; Philippians 2:5-11; Colossians 1:15; 2:9; 1 Timothy 2:5-6; 3:16 The Holy Spirit The Holy Spirit’s presence assures us of our relationship with Christ. He guides believers into all truth and exalts Christ. He convicts people of their sin, God’s righteousness, and the coming judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ. Genesis 1:2; Psalm 51:11; 139:7 ff.; Isaiah 61:1-3; Joel 2:28-32; Mark 1:10; Luke 1:35; 4:1; 11:13; 12:12; John 15:26; 16:7-14; Acts 1:8; 2:1-4; 13:2; Romans 8:9-11, 14-16, 26-27; 1 Corinthians 3:16; Ephesians 1:13-14; 2 Peter 1:21; Revelation 22:17 Eternity Man was created to exist forever. He will exist either eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is Heaven. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence. John 3:16, 36; Romans 6:23; 1 John 2:25; 5:11-13; Revelation 20:15 Man Man is made in the image of God and is the supreme object of His creation. Man was created to have fellowship with God but became separated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man cannot attain a right relationship with God through his own effort. Every human personality is uniquely created, possesses dignity, and is worthy of respect and Christian love. Genesis 1:26-30; 2:7, 18-22; 3; Psalms 8:3-6; 32:1-5; 51:5; Isaiah 6:5; Jeremiah 17:5; Acts 17:26-31; Romans 1:19-32; 3:10-18, 23; 5:6; 6:6; 7:14-25; 1 Corinthians 1:21-31; 15:19, 21-22; Ephesians 2; Colossians 1:21-22; 3:9-11 Salvation The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation is a gift from God, and it cannot be earned through our own efforts. Isaiah 1:18; 53:5-6; 55:7; Matthew 1:21; 27:22-66, 28:1-6; Luke 1:68-69; 2:28-32; John 1:12; 3:16, 36; 5:24; Acts 2:21; 4:12; 16:30-31; Romans 1:16-18; 3:23-25; 5:8-10; 6; 1 Corinthians 1:18; 2 Corinthians 5:17-20; Galatians 2:20; 3:13; Ephesians 2:8-10; Philippians 2:12-13; Hebrews 9:24-28; Revelation 3:20 The Church The Church is a local community of baptized believers unified through faith in Christ. THE HEART OF GOD
#Passion:The state of mind when it's powerfully acted upon and influenced by some thing external to its self!
Samson passionately lusted at the woman he saw in Timnath, his parents tried to guide him on how to go about the issue of finding a wife, he insisted (Judges 14:1-4).
The story did not end from there,in chapter 16:4-21,Samson met Delilah and fell in love with her too, gues what? Delilah led Samson to the dead-end! #Why?
-Passion controlled his decision making.
(1)Every feeling in your life should be controlled by your decisions ,not your feelings to drive your decision making!
(2)A life without a dream is disastrous but even dreaming purposelessly is almost vanity, for it might lead your life to destruction! Because Samson fell a prey to the Philistines due to his purposeless Passion over who he considered as his future wife!
(3)Focus on your GOD-given dreams than your fleshly desires, that's when you will always have the right Passion (purposeful passion), and this passion will be normal but with the aid of your decisions and self control!
(4)Let your spiritual antennas remain raised and in network of your maker as you pursue your dreams!
(5)For you to avoid irreversible messes, always search the will of God in all of your ways and decisions! (Romans 12:2).

A FALSE HOPE AND A FALSE GOSPEL
The Apostle Peter used the word suffer 15 times and the word suffering 4 times, yet nobody wants to talk about suffering. Instead the popular preachers preach and write books about being snatched out of harm's way before any bad stuff happens. "Jesus is not coming for a 'beat up bride' ", they say. Peter was pretty "beat up" when they crucified him upside down and so was Paul when they beheaded him for the sake of the gospel. Jesus never promised us escape from tribulation or persecution, but He did promise us that we would see it. Jesus said: Matt 24:9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name."
Jesus said in Matt 13:21 that many will be offended by tribulation and persecution and fall away from the faith. He warned us of what is coming so we will NOT be offended, but be prepared. "These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended." John 16:1
Suffering and persecution are not topics which sell books. Everybody wants GOOD news! Nobody wants to hear about pain and suffering, but Jesus told us we would be hated and persecuted for His Name. Will we believe Jesus and the apostles or the "bless me" preachers who are getting rich by tickling the ears of the church? They are preaching a false gospel which costs nothing and deceiving the church with a false hope. Woe to them!
The Word of God promises us suffering and persecution. Jesus said it and the apostles preached it and lived it.
" You shall have tribulation." John 16:33
"THROUGH much tribulation we must enter the Kingdom of God." Acts 14:22.. We are to go through it, not escape OUT of it.
“And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” Romans 8:17
“For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake” Philippians 1:29
“If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:” 2 Timothy 2:12
“Yea, and ALL that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall SUFFER persecution.” 2 Timothy 3:12

You are out of order if you are at a revival & you
1. Start having a prayer line while the Preacher is ministering to the people.
2. Start laying hands on people and have not received permission to operate in the service.
3. Sneaking Going behind the Preacher and ministering to every person the Preacher has already ministered to.
4. Try to overstep the Preacher team that is working with them.
5. Start working the altar and you have not been invited to join the altar workers.
6. Telling people that you sneaking and praying for To hold their offering until after church because they suppose to sow their offering to you.
7. Are asked to sing but you take thirty minutes to preach between each worship song.
8. Are a Preacher and you come in & invite yourself to the pulpit area without being asked.
9. Are called to do fifteen minutes of exhortation and you go into full preach mode for a hour because you see a crowd.
One thing I do know is God does not operate in confusion. He would not have a person to start a whole prayer line in the back while the Preacher is preaching praying & prophesying to the people! Some persons come to revivals conferences because they want to be seen and to showboat their gifts. I have seen persons leave a service totally confused because somebody zealous got in their eargate during service and gave them something contrary. I also have watch people be used by the enemy to go behind a Preacher and undo the work that the Lord has done by trying to whisper against what the Preacher said to the person. Those of you that are leaders we need to stop being afraid to rebuke the enemy when we see persons about to mess up a person life. Allowing persons out of order to operate and we not address them only makes them think that it’s alright for them to disrupt a service or to operate out order. Spiritual protocol must remain in place no matter who it is. Classes are needed because we have to many persons doing their own thing & thinking it’s alright for them to do it! In this hour we can’t let people just move like they want to because souls are being damaged behind somebody that spoke into their life or laid hands on them and prayed. The protection of the sheep soul is more important than a friendship or fellowship! Apostolic Order has been reactivated among the Body of Christ and open rebuke is better than secret love.
COURTESY OF Apostle BRT!!
The book of Romans teaches that God has not forgotten nor cast away Israel--his people which he foreknew--but they have to be saved by the blood of Jesus like anyone else and they have to obey the scriptures like anyone else. We are now one family--the Israel of God.
The Bible teaches that there is a dichotomy between the Jew's religion and the church of God--the Jew's religion is a false religion, NOT the counterpart of the gospel. Paul was a Jewish man, in the Jewish religion. He left the Jews' religion and came into the church of God--
Galatians 1:13 For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
Us sinners of the Gentiles, leave the ways of the heathen Gentiles and come into the church of God.
1 Corinthians 12:2 Ye know that ye WERE Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
First Corinthians 10:32 shows the three groups:
Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:
The LORD our God is one LORD. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
There is unity in our faith.
THE ABOVE IS THE END OF A VERY LONG ARTICLE, PERHAPS ONE OF THE BEST ON THIS SUBJECT I'VE EVER READ. ~Randy

PREPARATION. (part 2)!
Philippians 2:14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
Better get prepared for your destiny than murmuring !And be in know that -Every promise gat a process, for it to come true! So,Be patient and wait for God's appointed time while preparing!
1 Corinthians 10:10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
This means that murmuring can lead to death/destruction, abortion of dreams one can end up in dead-end instead of being in their destiny!
Therefore, be patient and consistent, and embrace the preparatory trials of the Lord God for a better future!

God doesn’t condemn His people having earthly possessions; but He does condemn when earthly possessions have us. As believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, we recognize that heaven is our home so we resist the temptation to hoard or treasure earthly possessions that will fade away. Meditate on the following 7 great Bible verses about earthly possessions:
#1) Earthly possessions are inferior to the heavenly one
“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things” (Colossians 3:2).
Before we knew Christ, we set our minds on everything the world views as valuable. Yet when we gave our hearts to Christ, there’s an immediate recognition of the fading value of material things. Through the knowledge and presence of the Holy Spirit, we begin to desire greater heavenly rewards more so than the earthly ones.
Hold earthly possessions with an open hand so that God can give or take away for His great purpose in your life.
#2) Earthly possessions will be destroyed eventually
“But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare” (2 Peter 3:10).
The most expensive and greatest treasures on the earth will have the same end—nothingness. After Jesus comes back and the world is judged, there will be nothing worth holding on to. In spite of this, many people will continue to cling to their earthly possessions because they long to be more comfortable in the present moment rather than in their eternal future.
#3) Earthly possessions can’t be trusted
“Those who trust in their riches will fall, but the righteous will thrive like a green leaf” (Proverbs 11:28).
Every day something of worldly value is broken, destroyed, lost, or stolen in some part of the world. Many who suffer this type of loss may never completely recuperate from it emotionally or financially. However those who truly trust in God and His heavenly riches only have to suffer temporary loss from the world, but they will gain much more in the Lord’s peace, joy, and grace.
#4) Earthly possessions can’t be given in exchange for your soul
“What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?” (Matthew 16:26).
When we all stand before God, there won’t be one earthly possession in our hands. Both saints and sinners come before the King of kings with only what we did with our lives—either accepting or rejecting Jesus. Those who put their trust in Him will have no reason to fear; however, those who rejected God for the pursuit of riches will have much sorrow and regret.
#5) Earthly possessions can be used for heavenly purposes
“I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings” (Luke 16:19).
God blesses His people with the specific purpose that they will in turn be a blessing to others. When we give an abundance of our wealth to spread the gospel—we are using wealth to build up the kingdom of God. Our finances that support missionaries and Christ-driven ministries allow the resources to flow so that the Good News will be spread to the ends of the earth.
#6) Earthly possessions are worth less than a good name
“A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold” (Proverbs 22:1).
Many people underestimate the value of a good name in the pursuit of wealth and earthly possessions. Yet a good reputation brings a lifetime of blessings and respect; while the loss of reputation brings scorn that will follow people to the grave and beyond. Those who turn down financial opportunities to keep their good name will be blessed beyond measure in God’s economy.
#7) Earthly possessions can choke the desire for God
“The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature” (Luke 8:14).
There is a great danger in the love of riches—it can steal the desire of knowing God and being known by Him. Those who live for riches forget that their lives are but a vapor (here today and gone tomorrow). It’s a consuming temptation because it will never satisfy because they will never have enough money. A great number of people have come to the end of their lives with robust bank accounts, but spiritually bankrupt.
Possess God’s Goodness
Your earthly possessions are nothing compared to the riches of knowing God and His presence in your life. Great peace is comforting to those who may lack earthly wealth, yet have an abundance of the grace and goodness of God on their lives. Hold earthly possessions with an open hand so that God can give or take away for His great purpose in your life.

THE HEART OF GOD!
THE LANGUAGE OF GOD!
God speaks to many of us in different ways on various aspects of our lives, but a few interprets & rightly understand the messages from the Lord!
The language of God is difficult to some of us,simply because he speaks in a variety of ways that are not common or barely comprehensible to most of us,due to the sinful nature that disrupts our spiritual ears!
-The fact that our minds are always caught up in the chaos of this world, stuck and after worldly things,God speaks rarely to some of us and when he speaks we some times perceive, but fail to digest & articulate the messages to ourselves or to others (flock)!
-Failure to set ourselves apart for God is also another problem that makes it difficult for some believers to understand what they perceived from God!
-Immaturity in the spirit is also a hindrance to understand the language of God.
That is the hindrance that Samuel faced(1Samuel 3:4-10),When God called him thrice & he never comprehended who was who not until Eli the (then Pastor) knew that it was God's voice that called Samuel,& directed him (Samuel) of how to answer!
#Therefore, among the above mentioned hindrances, single out the very one that hinders you,and battle with it in the spirit (Ephesians 6:10-17) that you may unlock your blessings from the Lord!
If it requires to grow in the spirit, feed yourself with the word of God,pray, fast, fellowship with God's people & God himself, with time you will start to sense intense presence of God in your life,& you will be friends with God that you easily understand when he speaks!
