Love Lives Predestined Ministries-Winning Souls

When most people pray for revival, they’re probably asking for a wonderful experience at church next Sunday at 11:00 A.M. But revival is more than a Sunday morning experience. When you pray for revival, you’re asking God for life-shaking experiences that will cost you plenty.

Usually when we pray for revival, we’re thinking about the bad guys. Little do we realize that revival begins with us, the people of God?

As a matter of fact, we’ve got a suggestion for those who want revival: Don’t pray for revival. Just repent of all known sin, do everything you’re supposed to do, give God all—not part, but all—your time, and you’ll experience revival.

While revivals often begin in a small group, congregation, or single denomination, every great revival spills over its natural boundaries.

Revival is God’s answer to prayer and only prevailing prayer. Psalm 85

The whole history of the Christian Church from its foundation until now is the history of revivals. It should always be borne in mind that real revival is something infinitely higher than a mere gale of religious excitement sweeping over the churches. A genuine revival is a manifestation of supernatural and Divine power.

Revival is agonizing: It so terrorizes you over your sin that you repent deeply.

Revival is consuming: It leaves you no time for hobbies, for chores around the house, for work, for sleep.

Revival wrecks your appointment calendar, interrupts TV times, demands your full attention ... and wears you out.

An evangelical revival is an extraordinary work of God in which Christians repent of their sins as they become intensely aware of his presence in their midst, and they manifest a positive response to God in renewed obedience to the known will of God, resulting in both a deepening of their individual and corporate experience with God, and an increased concern to win others to Christ.

• An extraordinary work of God should be distinguished from the more ordinary work of God in the life of the believer.
• The realization of the unique presence of God during times of revival is consistently reported in the testimonies of the revived.
• Revivals naturally lead to a significant evangelistic outreach and harvest of souls in the community touched by the revived church.

Revival formulae:

Revival is born out of intense prayer.

God shows himself very much alive when his people humble themselves, pray, repent their sins, seek his face, and turn from their wicked ways.

2Chroncles 7:14
Psalm 85:6
• True confession of sins, humility and brokenness before God
• Feeling ashamed of one’s sins

The real impact of a revival is realized in the ministry of a revived church in an awakened community.

The Reality of Revival:

But there have been certain seasons called revivals—when God has “poured His Spirit out on His people.” These times—also called awakenings— occurred when the presence of God is experienced in powerful manifestations of the Holy Spirit.

Joel 2:28-30
Acts 2:1
Acts 2:17
Acts 3:19
Hosea 6:3

Nine faces/types of revivals:

• The repentance revival emphasizes a moral cleansing of individual lives and of society as a whole.
• The evangelism revival focuses on winning souls to Christ.
• The worship revival centers on magnifying God.
• The deeper life revival emphasizes the experience of God’s indwelling.
• The spiritual warfare revival devotes its energies to battling Satan and the other demons.
• The Holy Spirit revival is characterized by extensive manifestations of the Spirit.
• The reconciliation revival leads to the removal of barriers to racial and ethnic harmony.
• The liberation revival focuses on gaining freedom from corporate and personal bondage to sin.
• The prayer revival displays considerable efforts at intercession and other forms of prayer.

Measure a revival by God himself. Is God present? Focus on what He’s doing, not on what people are doing. What has God accomplished?

Marks of a true revival:
• Faithful preaching & teaching of God’s word.
• Extraordinary prayer
• Conviction of sin
• Confession and repentance of sin
• Lasting conversions (Many turning to Christ)
• Many answering God’s call upon their lives (many taking on ministry roles)

Results or Impact of revival:

As the churches are being revived, they are gripped by a burning passion to reach the lost in their community. Everywhere, revived churches will begin to see “drunkards, gamblers, adulterers, murderers, thieves, self-righteous, idolaters and others” transformed into new creatures in Christ.

Many Christians will sense God’s call upon their lives as evangelists and they will carry the revival into other town and village churches throughout their nation and beyond.

• The unity and cooperation which prevails among Christians,

• The remarkable numerical growth of the churches

• The wonderful spiritual awakening which brings about new converts

• The noteworthy interest in the Word of God

• The dedication of Christians to service, including generous giving

• The wonderful prayer life of the local Church.

• As people are being converted, they develop an intense passion for God.

[11/11/17]   WHAT IS REVIVAL?
Habakkuk 3:2

Revival is the renewal of the first love of Christians, resulting in the awakening and conversion of sinners to God. A revival of true Christianity arouses, quickens, and reclaims the backslidden Church and awakens all classes, insuring attention to the claims of God. Revival presupposes that the Church is mired in a backslidden state.

1. A revival always includes Christians being convicted of their sins. Those who claim to know God yet are backslidden cannot wake up and begin to serve God without deeply searching their hearts.

2. Revival is nothing other than a new beginning of obedience to God. Like newly converted sinners, backslidden Christians take the first step of deep repentance - breaking the heart, getting down into the dust before God with deep humility and forsaking sin.

Revival breaks the power of the world and of sin over Christians. They obtain a new vision and foretaste of heaven and new desires for union to God. The charm of the world is broken, and the power of sin over come.

Friends as we intercede for Asinget village, let's also pray fervently for the surrounding villages of Pudot, Buyemba, Katerema, Mella, Milo8 and Milo6.

Asinget is bound by the spirit of witchcraft. There so many satanic altars that have weakened the Church and bound so many people in backwardness.

Please break every altar that is opposing God's work in that village and the surrounding villages.

There's a particular Satanist, devil worshipper, witch & sorcerer in Asinget that has the biggest altar where he has covenanted the entire village and all the inhabitants to the devil. It's in this village that girl's & boys marry as early as 12 years. The village never develops & people are bound in poverty. The born again Churches never grow or make impact in the community.

Please intercede for Asinget the neighbouring villages.

God bless you brethren & fellow soldiers of Christ Jesus.

The cross is the source of our;
• Salvation
• Healing
• Deliverance
• Restoration
• forgiveness
At the cross our broken relationship with God was restored.
The cross bridged the gap that existed between us and God. The gap was created by the fall of the first man in the Garden of Eden. Man fell from the position God had put him into when he circumed to the deception of the devil.
Sin broke man’s relationship with God. And up to today sin separates us from God. Isaiah 59:1
When we fall victims of sin, we should always remember to turn and look at the cross in order to obtain forgiveness and cleansing by the precious blood of Jesus. 1 John 1:7-10, 1 John 2:1-2, Ephesians 2:13.
At the cross, we were purchased back to God. 1 Corinthians 6:20.
Note: in the Garden of Eden when man fell from the glory of God, we were sold to the devil and his evil activities.
At the cross we were reconciled back to God. Romans 5:6-11
The cross is the source of eternal life, hope and happiness. Romans 6:22-23
At the cross we were restored back to our original position and image of God. John 1:12, 1 John 3:1, John 20:17.
At the cross the full price was paid and everything was finished. John 19:30
We need to embrace the cross.
We nee to embrace and love the message of the cross
“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God1 Corinthians 1:18”
We need to preach the gospel of the message of the cross.
1 Corinthians 2:2, Galatians 2:20, Galatians 3:13-14, Galatians 6:14, Philippians 3:10-11
Note: our full rights as sons of God were paid for at the cross. Galatians 4:3-7
You only need to look and live
Numbers 21:4-9
Only those who humble themselves and obey, they are legible to live.
The cross is our source of redemption from all problems and troubles.
We are able to experience God’s love afresh when we look at the cross.
Luke 23:39-43
One sinner despised the cross and ended in hell.
Another sinner embraced the cross and ended in paradise.

“And Moses answered and said, but, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The LORD hath not appeared unto thee. And the LORD said unto him, what is that in thine hand? And he said a rod. And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand: That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee. And the LORD said furthermore unto him, Put now thine hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow. And he said, Put thine hand into thy bosom again. And he put his hand into his bosom again; and plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold, it was turned again as his other flesh. And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe thee, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign. And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of the water of the river, and pour it upon the dry land : and the water which thou takest out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land . And Moses said unto the LORD, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. And the LORD said unto him, who hath made man' mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? Have not I the LORD? Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say. And he said, O my Lord, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send. And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart. And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do. And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God. And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs. Exodus 4:1-17”
What you possess is of profound use.
What do you have? What do you possess?
What you have contains great power to;
• Deliver people
• Heal people
• Change/transform people
• To save people
God is very ready to use what you have to perform signs and wonders so that many may believe in Him. Example Moses' stick, the five fishes and one loaf of bread

As you live on this earth, you must make sure your name is written in the book of life, if you are to inherit eternal life.
"He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. Revelation 3:5”
“The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. Revelation 17:8”
“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Revelation 20:12”
“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:15” ” And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, nor maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. Revelation 21:27”
“And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who stands for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that are wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. Daniel 12:1-3”
