Grow in Christ by being satisfied

Peter concludes by saying, “If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious” (1 Pet. 2:3). This final point is at the heart of sanctification. The “tastes” of sin plague many Christians. The reason people sin is because they enjoy the taste. Sadly enough, the reason people sin is because they enjoy the taste of sin better than what they perceive God to taste like. The problem with this is that when someone truly tastes God, it will be a greater taste than the sins of the world.

This point is important because, in the life of every believer, there are competing desires that are waging war for control in his heart. Scripture will at times call it the spirit and the flesh, or the sin that dwells within and the new nature. Either way, the more satisfied a Christian is in Christ, the more he will forsake his sin.

This point seems to be Peter’s recalling the attention of believers to a taste that they have had in the past. Have you tasted of the Lord yet? Have you experienced His intimate presence and joy? If so, you can and will experience it again. You can be satisfied in the Lord. Do not be deceived. He is yours for the taking. Taste and see again this day, and God will once again become your chief desire. He will be the only taste that will truly satisfy.

Final prayer

Father, I thank You for the ways that You help me to stay on track. It is a hard road, but I thank You that Christ walked it before me. Help me to trust in Christ this day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

[06/08/21]   Be true to your word because God keeps His promises

Paul weaves the broad category of God’s faithfulness into specific examples of God’s faithfulness. Scripture says, “For all the promises of God in him are yea…” (2 Cor. 1:20). God has made a number of His promises in His Word. God will never let the Christian down. He always fulfills His promises.

When God tells man that He will do something, it is a guarantee that it will be done. God cannot lie. It is impossible for God to lie. His very nature demands perfect honesty, uprightness, and holiness. He is other-worldly. Never has one lie been uttered from the mouth of God.

Scripture says, “For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself” (Heb. 6:13). In the Old Testament, God gave His word to Abraham and swore by Himself that He would keep it.

[06/04/21]   Only Jesus Can Offer Forgiveness

Jesus, the Son of God, lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. The Bible tells us that "God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us."

Jesus sacrificed his life to be our bridge to God. Then He rose from the dead and now lives in heaven with God. He offers us the gift of eternal life if we accept His gift and ask him to be our savior.

Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me."

God loves you and wants you to be His child. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe on His name." You can choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and become your Lord and Savior.

[06/01/21]   Today believe in Jesus Christ and Let God Write a New Story for You

Your story is created from the womb, has a foundation in childhood, and shaped by culture, demographics etc. However, here’s the great news….

my friend Your story can change at any moment.

Your narrative can shift.

The way things were are not the way they have to ever be again!

The more I researched, the more I could see the heart of God all over this therapy. The truth is, God can rewrite our narrative at any time. He can bring a refreshing and renewal to your story. In fact, He says that when we accept Him, old things pass away and we are new.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17

This is not a “maybe-we-are new” moment. Instead, this is a promise. The key is to accept a new story and be willing to allow the Lord to show you His plan for your life. We no longer have to fill like a victim to our past circumstances. We can rise up and recognize that it happened but CHOOSE to move forward.

Beloved Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. -Isaiah 43:19

[02/25/21]   The Christian believes:
Our God has always existed throughout all eternity and has always been God.Jesus Christ has always been God and was not a created being. The Holy Spirit is God and has always been God.The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three persons in one God.Man will never be God but will always be less than God.The 66 books of the Bible are the inspired Word of God.Salvation is by grace through faith.Jesus Christ

[02/16/21]   Hello my friend, i wanted to share this Kingdom message with you.
How can I have a personal relationship with God?

In the beginning of human history, Adam and Eve enjoyed a personal relationship with God (Genesis 2). Yet because of sin this relationship was broken. All of humanity now has a sin nature and lives separated from God. Is there a way we can be forgiven of our sin and restored to personal relationship with God? Yes!

Many think of salvation, or accepting Jesus as Savior, as simply a way to get to heaven, which it is. However, salvation is so much more—it's how we can have a personal relationship with God.

We begin our relationship with God by receiving His Son Jesus, believing that He is God and that He paid the penalty for our sins to restore us to relationship with Him (John 1:12; Romans 10:9). We accept Jesus' death as a substitution for the penalty we should have paid for sin (Romans 3:23; 6:23; Hebrews 10:10) and His resurrection as victory over sin and death (1 Corinthians 15:54–57; 1 Corinthians 15:22, 54–57). When we do, we receive eternal life (John 3:16). This eternal life is not just about quantity, but about quality. What we receive from Jesus is not just heaven, but true life (John 10:10). First Peter 1:8 speaks to the joy of salvation: "Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory."

Once we begin a relationship with God, we are called to cultivate it. God's Spirit lives within us (John 14:15-17) and teaches us truth (John 16:13), grows us in the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, and peace for example; see Galatians 5:22–23), enables us to use our abilities to help others (Ephesians 2:10; 4:12–13), and causes us to live as salt and light in a world of darkness (Matthew 5:14–16). He helps us put sin to death and live the way God would have us live, rather than as slaves to sin (Romans 6:1–23; Philippians 2:12–13). A personal relationship with God changes our lives now and for the rest of eternity.

We start a personal relationship with God through faith. We are dead in our sin and only Christ can save us and restore us to fellowship with God (Ephesians 2:1–5; Colossians 2:13). Ephesians 2:8–10 teaches, "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." We do not earn our relationship with God; we receive it as a free gift.

Romans 10:9 says, "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." God offers forgiveness and relationship; we just have to accept it.

Are you willing to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior and receive this free gift of eternal life? If so, you can do it right now. There is no special prayer you must pray to do so. However, the following prayer is one you can use to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior:

"Dear God, I realize I am a sinner and could never reach heaven by my own good deeds. Right now I place my faith in Jesus Christ as God's Son who lived a perfect life, died, and rose from the dead to give me eternal life and invite me into personal relationship with you. Please forgive me of my sins and help me to live for you. Thank you for accepting me and giving me eternal life."
Have you made a decision for Christ because of what you have read here? If so, E-mail me and i will help you. I have accepted Christ today" .God bless you and may He help you.

[02/13/21]   How can I walk in the Spirit?
Galatians 5:16 teaches, "But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh." What does it mean to walk by or in the Spirit?

Romans 8:3-5 helps to answer this question, stating, "For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit" (emphasis added). In contrast with those who live by the flesh or human sinful nature, believers are called to live by the Spirit and the ways of God.

In Africa children starts working when they are still young.. And over there?

[12/02/20]   We must individually receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God’s love and plan for our lives.
We Must Receive Christ
“As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name.”

We Receive Christ Through Faith
“By grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast.” 9

When We Receive Christ, We Experience a New Birth

We Receive Christ by Personal Invitation
[Christ speaking] “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him.”

Receiving Christ involves turning to God from self (repentance) and trusting Christ to come into our lives to forgive our sins and to make us what He wants us to be. Just to agree intellectually that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for your sins is not enough. Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience. You receive Jesus Christ by faith, as an act of the will.

30/11/2020

For your life to function properly you need to put God in charge.
Have you ever prayed something like this?
“Lord Jesus, my King. the Lord of my life. I will go where You want me to go, do what You want me to do, say what You want me to say, and give what You want me to give.

[09/27/20]   The Lord is waiting to move His sovereign hand on your behalf and send His angels in your defense.
Isaiah 41:10-13

[09/26/20]   Deuteronomy 10:21 says,
He is the One you praise: He is our God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes.” Miracle power is a powerful reminder that God’s love is only a heartbeat away and that a blessing is around the corner. It’s important that we are conscious of God at work in our lives daily. Miracle power can be unleashed when we have faith and trust that miracles can really happen. If you’re ready for God to answer your prayer for the miraculous to be at work in your life, pray this prayer: Heavenly Father, I open my heart wide to receive the love of God. As I receive God’s love as universal supply, all my affairs are healed. I realize and accept the healing power of the Universe as love, and I allow the healing power that is love to pe*****te my life. I readily accept the healing power of love in my life and I know that as love, God is my limitless and abundant supply made manifest. I feel the outpouring of God’s love in my body and mind. I feel God’s love in my affairs, and I know all is well. Say Amen.

[09/25/20]   What does faith in God mean?
In one sense, faith in Christianity is often discussed in terms of believing God's promises, trusting in his faithfulness, and relying on God's character and faithfulness to act.

[09/24/20]   Heaven is about to be open for you and your friends will say you are blessed.
