This far the Lord has brought us.
I wait for the Lord , my soul waits, And in His word I do hope. My soul waits for the Lord More than those who watch for the morning— Yes, more than those who watch for the morning. O Israel, hope in the Lord ; For with the Lord there is mercy, And with Him is abundant redemption.
Psalms 130:5-7 NKJV
I WILL TELL OF ALL YOUR MARVELOUS WORKS.
I will praise You, O Lord , with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. When my enemies turn back, They shall fall and perish at Your presence. For You have maintained my right and my cause; You sat on the throne judging in righteousness. You have rebuked the nations, You have destroyed the wicked; You have blotted out their name forever and ever. O enemy, destructions are finished forever! And you have destroyed cities; Even their memory has perished. But the Lord shall endure forever; He has prepared His throne for judgment. He shall judge the world in righteousness, And He shall administer judgment for the peoples in uprightness. The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord , have not forsaken those who seek You.
Psalms 9:1-10 NKJV
YET I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD.
Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls— Yet I will rejoice in the Lord , I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills. To the Chief Musician. With my stringed instruments.
Habakkuk 3:17-19 NKJV
THE LORD SITS AS KING FOREVER.
Give unto the Lord , O you mighty ones, Give unto the Lord glory and strength. Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; The Lord shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh. The voice of the Lord makes the deer give birth, And strips the forests bare; And in His temple everyone says, “Glory!” The Lord sat enthroned at the Flood, And the Lord sits as King forever. The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace.
Psalms 29:1-2, 8-11 NKJV
Well, we thank God for phase 1 of this lockdown season. It's been 21 days of His goodness and mercy, we give thanks. I am sure there is a lot to be grateful for, kindly go ahead and give him praise. For those who have been dedicating time to pray and even fast, I believe God has heard our prayer and answered some already.
Going forward I feel we need to go into a contemplative mode as we listen in to the instructions He has for us for the coming months and years. It's a time of encouragement and strengthening in the Lord.
“Behold, God works all these things, Twice, in fact, three times with a man, To bring back his soul from the Pit, That he may be enlightened with the light of life.
Job 33:29-30 NKJV
Also, we will be joining the Intercessors For Uganda in praying some national issues over the course of this month. They are praying through the 50 days from Resurrection to Pentecost. Watch out for these as well.
Let us also pray:
That God will cover all the strategies that governments are using to ease on the lockdown. Proverbs 16.9.
That the nations will know the Lord God is one. And run to Him alone. DEUT. 6.4.
That there will be great redemption, turn arounds and reconciliation in the land. At individual, family and national levels.
God richly bless you as we continue to partner with God in extending His Kingdom on the earth.
Have a blessed day.

THE POWER OF YEILDING.
In materials science and engineering, the yield point is the point on a stress-strain curve that indicates the limit of elastic behavior and the beginning of plastic behavior. Prior to the yield point, a material will deform elastically and will return to its original shape when the applied stress is removed. Once the yield point is passed, some fraction of the deformation will be permanent and non-reversible and is known as plastic deformation.
I remember when I was young I had a short that had an elastic band, over time it reached its yield point and went into permanent deformation. I therefore had to pull it or hold it. As long as it had its own strength it did not need me after yielding I had to defend it support it and keep it in use the way I wanted.
Until we totally yield, we will not experience the full hand of God sustaining us and using us for his glory alone. Comit to totally yield to God and you will see his might hand.
Galatians 2:20 20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Paul had reached the yield point. In the above scripture.
Moses grew up in the palace and as a royal he had all this pride in him. It had to take God to work in his life for 40 years in order for God to get him to that yield point. A place where he could wait on God and be able to write the first 5 books of the bible.
How long will it take God to bring me to that yield point that God will do that which he wants to do in me.
To Abraham it was the point of giving up his son.
22 Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!”
And he said, “Here I am.”
2 Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”
12 And He said, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.”
5 Then the Angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time out of heaven, 16 and said: “By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son—
This was the point of yielding for Abraham. He had to make a decision to leave home with the son and climb the mountain to the point God told him to sacrifice. When we yield we give up all those things and that main thing that we hold dear in our lives and hand it over to God. See what God does when we yield.
In blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. 18 In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”
Abraham yielded to the voice of God and see what God says in verse 18 above. All the nations of the earth shall be blessed because he obeyed.
HAVE YOU OBEYED or you are still looking for a dream interpreter start moving towards the mountain of sacrifice.
We need to pray:
A willing heart. Isaiah 1.18-19.
A heart wholly submitted to God. 2 Chron 16.9.
A willingness to let God do in us whatsoever He desires. Jer. 18.5-6.
Sacrifice is a life laid down and totally surrendered to God. The shed blood is the outward evidence of a life laid down.
God bless you

Occupy till I come
Luke 19: Now as they heard these things, He spoke another parable, because He was near Jerusalem and because they thought the kingdom of God would appear immediately. 12 Therefore He said: “A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return. 13 So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Do business till I come.
The basis of this parable is that even in Jesus’ time they expected a kingdom to appear immediately. Many times every generation assumes that they are the last generations and they focus on Jesus’ coming back the anti-Christ and prophesies that tell about the end times. Currently during the COVID-19 pandemic a number of people have started talking about the 5G and its risks.
I can imagin what the believers of 1941-45 thought about the world war and they must have thought that the world had come to an end. Three years after the end of the world war Israel become a nation. A number of British colonies started getting independence. USA emerged even stronger because it had the business opportunity in the rebuilding of Europe which had been affected by the 1st and 2nd world wars. As the nations began to get independence the british empire disintegrated and now we have members of the common wealth.
In 1988 after 40 years of Israel’s becoming a nation different prophets came up saying that Jesus said that this generation will not pass away before the son of man returns. Bible scholars say a generation is 40years.
Matthew 24:32-34 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
In the 90s the collapse of the soviet union and the expansion of the European Union to 10 members was related to the prophesy in Daniel about the statue.
Daniel 2: 31 “Your Majesty looked, and there before you stood a large statue—an enormous, dazzling statue, awesome in appearance. 32 The head of the statue was made of pure gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, 33 its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of baked clay. 34 While you were watching, a rock was cut out, but not by human hands. It struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and smashed them. 35 Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were all broken to pieces and became like chaff on a threshing floor in the summer. The wind swept them away without leaving a trace. But the rock that struck the statue became a huge mountain and filled the whole earth.
When the European Union expanded to now 27 countries these also were dropped.
We had the Y2K scare as well not long ago where people expected satellites and planes to fall from the sky, computers jamming and banking systems failing because of a date format. That too passed without much to it.
Back to what Jesus said, "Ocuupy till I come."
Do business till I come
When you read the book of kings and Chronicles you realize that kings like Josiah, Hezekiah, Jehoshaphat that feared God and though their enemies out numbered them, whenever they trusted God in their crises he delivered then and gave them the riches of the nations.
At a time as this the people who know their God can do great exploits. Like David, Gideon, Joshua and many others God fought for them in the middle of the crisis.
We must pray that:
God will give us the spirit of Issachar. To know what we ought to be doing.
God will give us the foresight of Jacob, who was able to foresee and tell the future of his children for generations to come.
The Grace to tarry like Simeon and Anna, to patiently wait on the promises of God in prayer and fasting.
In this season let us do business till he comes.
God bless you.

Oh, that You would rend the heavens! That You would come down!
Oh, that You would rend the heavens! That You would come down! That the mountains might shake at Your presence— As fire burns brushwood, As fire causes water to boil— To make Your name known to Your adversaries, That the nations may tremble at Your presence! When You did awesome things for which we did not look, You came down, The mountains shook at Your presence. For since the beginning of the world Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, Nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.
Isaiah 64:1-4 NKJV
May He show up as God of the impossible:
So Moses spoke to the children of Israel, and each of their leaders gave him a rod apiece, for each leader according to their fathers’ houses, twelve rods; and the rod of Aaron was among their rods. And Moses placed the rods before the Lord in the tabernacle of witness. Now it came to pass on the next day that Moses went into the tabernacle of witness, and behold, the rod of Aaron, of the house of Levi, had sprouted and put forth buds, had produced blossoms and yielded ripe almonds.
Numbers 17:6-8 NKJV.
This portion of scripture points to a time when there was contention among some Levites as to why they could not become priests like Aaron and Moses. God did this to stamp His choice and make a clear distinction between the priesthood of Aaron and the rest. Nevertheless, I find it so drastic that I normally ask my self what can't God do?
May God show up as our deliverer:
Then the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord , when I have gained honor for Myself over Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen.” And the Angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud went from before them and stood behind them. So it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel. Thus it was a cloud and darkness to the one, and it gave light by night to the other, so that the one did not come near the other all that night.
Exodus 14:18-20 NKJV
And He took off their chariot wheels, so that they drove them with difficulty; and the Egyptians said, “Let us flee from the face of Israel, for the Lord fights for them against the Egyptians.” Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the waters may come back upon the Egyptians, on their chariots, and on their horsemen.” And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and when the morning appeared, the sea returned to its full depth, while the Egyptians were fleeing into it. So the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.
Exodus 14:21-31 NKJV
May God show up as a refiners fire:
And it came to pass, at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, “ Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your word. Hear me, O Lord , hear me, that this people may know that You are the Lord God, and that You have turned their hearts back to You again.” Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench. Now when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces; and they said, “The Lord , He is God! The Lord , He is God!”
I Kings 18:36-39 NKJV.
May the Lord God show up as King of Kings:
The king spoke, saying, “Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?”
That very hour the word was fulfilled concerning Nebuchadnezzar; he was driven from men and ate grass like oxen; his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair had grown like eagles’ feathers and his nails like birds’ claws. And at the end of the time I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever: For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, And His kingdom is from generation to generation. All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven And among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand Or say to Him, “What have You done?”
Daniel 4:30, 33-35 NKJV
May the Lord God show up as Judge:
Now Herod had been very angry with the people of Tyre and Sidon; but they came to him with one accord, and having made Blastus the king’s personal aide their friend, they asked for peace, because their country was supplied with food by the king’s country. So on a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat on his throne and gave an oration to them. And the people kept shouting, “The voice of a god and not of a man!” Then immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give glory to God. And he was eaten by worms and died. But the word of God grew and multiplied.
Acts 12:20-24 NKJV
I believe there is no limit to what God can do in and through us and in the nations when His people choose to stand and believe Him.
Wish you a blessed weekend.
