[05/15/20]   James 1:1-12
1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,

To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations:

Greetings.

Trials and Temptations
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.

9 Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position. 10 But the rich should take pride in their humiliation—since they will pass away like a wildflower. 11 For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich will fade away even while they go about their business.

12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

[05/14/20]   Romans 12:1-2
A Living Sacrifice
12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will.

Lessons;

1. Jesus Christ says is the Life, to present your body as a living sacrifice, therefore, necessitates that you have allowed his life in you & through him, we get to God. Holiness resides in Jesus & there if you are in him alone then you can be holy & pleasing in God's sight. Make it a point to daily present yourself to God through Jesus Christ; for without him you can barely do nothing.

2. Once you have your indwelling in Jesus Christ, the requirement is that you are willing to conform to the heavenly kingdom patterns NOT the world. Scripture says that who is in Jesus Christ is a new creation, the old has gone & the new has come, & therefore we have to daily commit to the new thing & embrace the transforming power of Jesus Christ to renew our mind. The mind has the ability to bring to remembrance the old things, but God gives us the ability to overcome such forces & cause us to only think of the new things.

3. After doing the above, Then you & I will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will. The test comes with availability of someone to be tested. God is, therefore, willing to avail himself to be tested of his good, pleasing & perfect will.

Are you a living sacrifice?
What is the new thing you have embrace today?

God bless you!

[05/09/20]   Looking on the bright side of life has positive effects on your emotional state, but it can also help your partner. Studies show that optimists’ partners can be influenced by the optimist’s positive outlook, leading to a more satisfying relationship. The next time your partner or friend is feeling down, be as positive as you can and cheer them up! Your disposition and relationship will improve.

[04/18/20]   Because if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous—being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation. Romans 10:9-10

[03/25/20]   And the good works take manifest in people, to will & to do what is right to others in faith.

He is Coming Back

Keep a sharp lookout! For you do not know when I will come... Watch for my return!
- Mark 13:35,36 (TLB)

The great Dwight L. Moody used to say, “I never preached a sermon without thinking that possibly the Lord may come before I preach another.” Dr. G. Campbell Morgan, the distinguished British clergy-man, said, “I never begin my work in the morning without thinking that perhaps he may interrupt my work and begin His own. I am not looking for death. I am looking for Him.” That is the way a Christian should live his life – in the constant anticipation of the return of Jesus Christ! If we could live every day as though it may be the very last one before the final judgment, what a difference it would make here on earth! But we don’t like to think that way. We don’t like to think that our carefully made plans, our long range schemes may be interrupted by the trumpet of God. Too many people would rather say, “Oh, well, the end of the world hasn’t come yet, so why think about it – it’s probably a thousand years away.”

Today might be the last day when Jesus returns. Cleanse me, Father

[11/22/19]   Gladness on Sunday

I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord. Psalm 122:1A lot of people get what I call “Sunday-itis” on Sunday mornings. Do you know what Sunday-itis is? It attacks the victim shortly before breakfast on Sunday morning. It is accompanied by a feeling of weakness and lethargy. Sometimes the victim has a slight headache which is aggravated by the ringing of the church bells in the community.
But the disease is of short duration, usually disappearing about noon, when the victim is able to eat a full dinner and play golf in the afternoon.
But the symptoms usually appear again about 7:30 Sunday evening, and then disappear until the next Sunday morning.May I always have the gladness that David had, as each Sunday I prepare to worship You in Your house, heavenly Father.

[11/07/18]   Act on your dreams/vision today:
Write the vision (dreams) and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
Habakuk 2:2 NKJV.

It is so important to act on the dreams the Lord has given you. You can take ownership of your dreams by planning and preparing for them.
Where do you see yourself in a few years?
Put action behind what you're believing for.
Maybe you don't see how it can happen in the natural. The good news is you don't have to have it all figured out.
With your faith and obedience, God will work supernaturally in your situation to turn things around for good.

[04/25/18]   Don't give up too soon
"Do not therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward".
(Hebrews 10: 35 AMP)

We all have goals that we want to accomplish and situations we're believing will turn around. But so often when it's taking along time, the negative thoughts come that say, "its never going to change". "you're never going to get well". "That child is never going to straighten up".
If we're not carefull, we'll get discouraged and end up just settling where we are.

Many times, we miss out on God's best because we gave up too soon.
Just another few days of believing, another few weeks of doing the right thing or another few months of staying in faith, and we would see that promise come to pass.
Believe, do the right thing and stay in faith. You will see the Lord's goodness in your life.

[01/20/18]   The Command to give thanks in everything/All circumstances

[01/15/18]   The Command to Pray without ceasing

[01/14/18]   The command to Rejoice Always,

THE BLAME GAME,
When the blame game becomes your habit, you never get to overcome your failures.

Genesis 3:12- The Man said " The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate"

So often when things go wrong, we naturally look for someone to blame. Why? Projection.the reason for blame is that we feel bad about something and want to get rid of the bad feeling, so we project that feeling at others.
Blaming others sets them up as bad so we can then project our bad feelings into them. Projection hence can work by distraction.

In this case study, No one knows how long Adam had stayed/lived with Eve to refer to her as "The woman you gave to be with..." There is a sense of appreciation which man first had on the first glance at a woman if we all remember the story.where was it lost?

1. Remember, blame games will cost your relationship(s), in this case, it costed the first men in the garden of Eden, they lost their relationship with God. they were being wise in their own.

2. You will never overcome your failures if you keep blaming others for them.

Things to ponder and work on;
The next time you experience failure, you should think about why you failed, instead of who was a fault.
And most importantly ask yourself these questions;

What lessons have I learned?
How can I turn failure into success?
Where did I succeed as well as Failed?

This will help us evaluate, ask God to forgive you where you have blamed others for your mistakes. But also learn to accept your failures and work to improve your life to be a better person in Christ Jesus.

Prayer;
Our loving Father(God), Thank you for caring & loving me. Everyday I failure, but I choose to depend on you to overcome my failures. Help me to recognize my faults & deal with them to become a successful person, Forgive me where I have blamed others for my faults & give me another chance to better myself through the help & counsel of your Holy Spirit, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

[01/05/18]   THE FIRE OF GOD-Purification Process.
Who can stand under the purification process of God? Who can remain unchanged through the fire of God? The two question we should ask ourselves today. What do those two questions imply to us as children of God and or New converts in to the journey of Salvation.
Consider taking reference from Isaiah 33:14-16, read slowly and see here below what it takes; This may not always be the way to go, but as the spirit leads us, We MUST do the following,

1.Our lives and words must match this implies;- Integrity,
2.We must reject dishonest gains this implies;- Justice,
3.Convictions, We won't allow bribes, this should always be our value trait.
4. Refuse to dwell on the destructive issues, this implies;- positive focus.
5. We must discipline our minds to remain clean and pure, this implies;- Purity/pure
6.We must remain firm, stable in our identity & source of strength, this implies;- Secure.

May be you have been struggling in any of the above areas like I do for some reasons. It's time for us to take serious note of these traits, ponder upon their description and we will be the kind of people to pass this FIRE PROOF process of God.

Prayer;
Dear God I thank you so much because you love me & desire to have the best come out of me, Forgive me when I have fallen the test of purification. Grant me your grace & fill me with you Holy spirit to lead me through this path with ease to enable me be purified once again. As I live by Your Spirit, so Let me Walk by Your Spirit, in Jesus Name.

[01/04/18]   DON'T TAKE YOURSELF TOO SERIOUSLY;

In today's message; let us learn to lighten up, I am affected here as well, many times, I have been held up to seriously that I find myself lonely with no one to mind, leaving people in suspense thinking of me to be what I am not, I have lost time & attention for people over no big reason, But thinking, I am too busy. It's really okay to be busy yes, But often "Don't take yourself too seriously"

No matter how serious your work is/can be that's not reason to take yourself seriously. find time for people around you.
Maintain a sense of humor and keep your ego in check, Also recognize that laughter breeds resilience.

Have you ever been knocked down in life? Remember to laugh; it is the quickest way to get up and going again.

Proverbs 17:22,
A merry heart does good, like medicine.

Prayer;
Dear God, I thank you because you love me and your desire for me is to be happy in my life. I am sorry where I have taken myself seriously & blocked people out of the way to reach out to me. please Forgive me. I ask you through your son Jesus Christ, that you will help me to maintain a sense of humor, laugh and keep my ego in check. Help me to be merry in heart in Jesus' name.

Amen!
