RECOGNIZE YOUR SEASON!
Job 17:9,"Yet the righteous will hold to his way, And he who has clean hands will be stronger and stronger"

If you were to examine your current situation or season in life right now, what would you say? Think about that for a quick moment. Would you say that your egg in a grinding season, dry season, getting married season, waiting for your godly mate season, raising small kids or teens season, empty nesting season, spiritual warfare season, tests and trials at nearly every turn season, growing closer to God season, and the list could go on and on, right? Gotcha! So let’s talk (or read) about recognizing life seasons in this week

Psalms :103:5,"Who satisfies your mouth with good things so that your mouth is renewed like the eagles"

In a natural sense, we know that seasons change. There’s winter, spring, summer, and fall. And although I’m not about to get poetic on you, I simply want you to truly recognize that just like the natural seasons change, the same happens as it relates to seasons in our lives. Yet, the key to success in getting through any of them well, is first recognizing where you are.

Then in Ecclesiastes 3:1, “For everything there is a season.”
It also tells us in Ecclesiastes 3:11, “Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time.” Ultimately God is in control of all of the seasons, whether natural or within life. So it’s important for us to recognize that from the start.

Whichever season you’re currently in, try to understand that He’s making everything beautiful for its time. Let’s go a bit further…
The Dry Season
This is no doubt a tough season! Trust me. I’ve been there at various moments in my life, and I personally know how hard this one can be. For Christians, it’s usually called a spiritual dryness or a dry season. It’s when God is quiet or you can’t hear His voice or sense His presence as you once did. He seems very distant.
So don't lose hope, enjoy each season to the fullest. Stay strong in prayer and allow your spiritual eyes and ears to perceive the alignment of God in your life.
Isaiah 40:31, " But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary they shall walk and not faint"

We are serving a God of wonders
The way he opened Sarah's womb its the same way he will open yours, just believe and that he is God don't be ignorant just follow the dos and the don't s.
He has not changed. It’s just that we are trying to figure Him out.

God reveals Himself in three ways through the plagues.

• Moses and Aaron were sent into Egypt to demand for the release of the people of Israel but Pharaoh refused to let them go.

• The Lord unleashed a total of TEN PLAGUES against Egypt (chapters 7-12).

Sandwiched between the plagues are these remarks:

• Exo 5:1-2 1Afterward Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said, "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: `Let my people go, so that they may hold a festival to me in the desert.'" 2Pharaoh said, "Who is the LORD, that I should obey him and let Israel go? I do not know the LORD and I will not let Israel go."

• Exo 12:12 “On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn - both men and animals - and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the LORD.”

Through the plagues, God shows that there is only one true God and LORD. He will bring judgment against all the false gods of Egypt.

• The stage is set. God is the director behind the scenes.

• The main characters may be Pharaoh, Moses and Aaron; secondary role are the magicians of Egypt. But God is the principal player. The plagues reveal God..

HAVE YOU PURPOSED TO FIND JESUS?
In Mark 10:46_52, Bartimeus is given as the name of the blind beggar, whose eyes Jesus Christ opened as he went out from Jericho on his last journey.
While the crowd told him to get quiet, Bartimeus got louder and louder and he received his healing

Luke 8:43_45, "And there was a woman who Hd a discharge of blood for twelve years and though she spent all her living on phsycians, she could not be healed by anyone. She came behind him and touched the fringe of his garment and immediately her discharge of blood ceased. "
. This woman purposed to do what she had to do to get her healing. She said, 12 years I have been sick with an issue of blood. For 12 years I have been going to the doctors, but they just could not help me. For 12 yeras I have been spending my money, and instead of getting better I became worse. Somehow Jesus, I heard about you, and I decided if I could only touch the hem of your garment I would be healed. As I pressed my way towards you, it was not easy, I was pushed around, I was walked over, but I was determined to touch the hem of
your garment, and as I touched your garment I was completely healed, and I just want to thank you.

When the Lord has done something for you, you must take the time to talk about it, and to give him thanks. This woman had a testimony. As we come here today, what has God done for you? Do you have a testimony? (Take the time for a few testimonies....)

1 Samuel 1:9-11," O God of the Angel armies if you'll take a good hard look at my pain,if you'll quit neglecting me and go into action for me by giving me a son. I'll give him completely, unreservedly to you."
Hannah was willing to do anything to get a response from God. She even made a vow to show her seriousness.

This woman told Jesus all the truth. As you come here today, "what truth do you need to tell Jesus.?" There is no need to hide, because Jesus already knows, but he wants to hear from you. Maybe you are here today suffering from your sinful past, and in need "of forgiveness and healing." Just come to Jesus and "tell Him the whole truth."

The Bible says in 1 John1 : 9," If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Maybe somehow you have failed the Lord, nobody else knows, but Jesus knows, today you can come to Jesus and "tell Him the whole truth."

Do you feel sometimes that you are just lost in the crowd?. You are in the crowd, you are around people who are following Jesus, but you still feel lost.. You feel that you are no really connecting. You come to church on Sunday morning, and something seems to be missing. You are in the right place, doing the right things, singing songs, clapping your
hands, listening to the sermon, but going back home unchanged.
This woman was in the crowd, but she went back home changed, because she connected with the Master, she touched him and she was made whole. Today if you feel that connection wth Jesus is missing, you too can reach out and touch Him.

1 Samuel 2:1-11
Hannah’s Prayer of Praise
2 Then Hannah prayed:

“My heart rejoices in the Lord!
The Lord has made me strong.[a]
Now I have an answer for my enemies;
I rejoice because you rescued me.
2 No one is holy like the Lord!
There is no one besides you;
there is no Rock like our God.

3 “Stop acting so proud and haughty!
Don’t speak with such arrogance!
For the Lord is a God who knows what you have done;
he will judge your actions.
4 The bow of the mighty is now broken,
and those who stumbled are now strong.
5 Those who were well fed are now starving,
and those who were starving are now full.
The childless woman now has seven children,
and the woman with many children wastes away.
6 The Lord gives both death and life;
he brings some down to the grave[b] but raises others up.
7 The Lord makes some poor and others rich;
he brings some down and lifts others up.
8 He lifts the poor from the dust
and the needy from the garbage dump.
He sets them among princes,
placing them in seats of honor.
For all the earth is the Lord’s,
and he has set the world in order.

9 “He will protect his faithful ones,
but the wicked will disappear in darkness.
No one will succeed by strength alone.
10 Those who fight against the Lord will be shattered.
He thunders against them from heaven;
the Lord judges throughout the earth.
He gives power to his king;
he increases the strength[c] of his anointed one.”

11 Then Elkanah returned home to Ramah without Samuel. And the boy served the Lord by assisting Eli the priest.

[09/29/21]   Hannah’s Prayer for a Child: 1 Samuel 1:10-11, 20

“In her deep anguish Hannah prayed to the Lord, weeping bitterly. And she made a vow, saying, “Lord Almighty, if you will only look on your servant’s misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the Lord for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head… So in the course of time Hannah became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel, saying, “Because I asked the Lord for him.”
