Hope for African Child Foundation HACF

Hope For African Child Foundation is a registered NGO in Bujagali, (Jinja District) Uganda with a mission to empower women and children.

Hope For African Child Foundation (HACF) is a Uganda-based non-profit organization that empowers women and children through education, health and sustainable development programs. Founded by Biyinzika Joel in 2016, HACF works in partnership with more than 5 districts in Busoga region with it's headquarters located in Budondo sub county Jinja district Uganda. HACF exists to build strong foundations of trust, community involvement and accountability. Joel grew up in Kyabirwa Village, a rural community in the Jinja District in Eastern Uganda. Joel was born in a family of 8 children to Reverend Jonathan Balidawa and Rose Balidawa of Kyabirwa village. His education was sponsored by Busoga kingdom after becoming the best student in Budondo sub-county in the year 2007 and Joel went on to become the only person from his village to receive a university diploma. After completing his studies Joel returned to the Jinja District determined to help these communities reach their full potential. “Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it”. We’re passionate about life change. That can mean yours too.

Mission: Our vision and mission is to empower women and children with better education, vocational training, and the tools to create sustainable small businesses.

OVERCOMING UNBELIEF IN GOD - Hebrews 3:1-19

With every passing day, media is awash with the impact of COVID-19. Its continued spread has led to lockdowns in many countries. These are surely testing times. To some Christians the presence of testing times in their lives is a shock. Why? Because many held to the notion that testing times signified lack of faith. As our passage for today points out....this far from the truth. Why? Sooner or later all of us go through times of trial. In these times the challenge is to stay faithful (like Moses) to God – not to harden our hearts (v.15) but to keep them soft and tender towards God – to keep on trusting in spite of all the difficulties and challenges to our faith.

Fixing our thoughts on Jesus, listening to Him as He continues to speak to us through the Scriptures, and trusting in Him, leads us to rest and peace.

Today am so much inspired by this lady Lizzie who is termed to be "The most ugliest woman in the whole world". To me she is not because the beauty of a woman is inside not that outside appearance. U know in this world, never accept to be discouraged by anyone from what you believe in. Dont even accept your looks to define you but what you do every single day. Those accomplishments you toil with each single day will definitely tell who you are and it will be left to the world to testify for you. Never give up on life when You are still living. We are not gonna stop. We shall keep doing all we can to fulfill the dreams of those in our community of operation.

"I have also decided to stick with love, for I know that love is ultimately the only answer to mankind's problems. [...] I say to myself that hate is too great a burden to bear. I have decided to love. If you are seeking the highest good, I think you can find it through love." -Martin Luther King

Life on earth is not about what things you can accumulate but how many lives you can have a positive impact on. Your rewards are based upon the people you touch, let that speak to you. Everything else is vanity.

hopeforafricanchild.com A Reset on Our Mission and PurposeSep 5, 2019 In some places around the world, September marks the time we send our kids back to school, and it’s almost as much the “new year” as it is every January 1. It’s a time to start fresh and renew your goals. Though Ugandan schools run on a different...

Who we’re becoming is very important to us - as an organization and as individuals - and it’s going to be the foundation and focus of the school we’re planning. In addition to teaching them academics, we’re going to teach our children how they can become the people they were created to be. Can you image if we were all equipped and able to step into our purpose and destiny?

Let’s learn a little Luganda! Although English is the official language of Uganda, Luganda is the most widely spoken of its many tribal languages. Most Luganda words are made up of two-letter syllables, making them quite easy to pronounce. Give it a try!

This subject is so near and dear to our hearts. May we be a people and place of belonging.

"True belonging is the spiritual practice of believing in and belonging to yourself so deeply that you can share your most authentic self with the world and find sacredness in both being a part of something and standing alone in the wilderness.

True belonging doesn’t require you to change who you are; it requires you to be who you are."

Hope For African Child Foundation HACF is having an urgent need to acquire the land where the school will be established. On the same property we will have our offices, children homes and and a school garden.

Since last year we started scouting for land and we finally landed on a 10 acre land property in Butende village which is about 1 hour away from Bujagali. Each acre goes for $5000 and we have already made a cash down payment on this land to affirm our commitment to buying this land.

We have an opportunity to start using this property once we rise $12000. Now we have already paid $3000 and we now urgently need $9000 to hit this mark and by the look of things we can possibly rise the rest in installments from growing vegetables and corn 🌽 on the same property.

Please help us acquire this property by donating towards this cause, this school is going to be a center of cultural transformation, talent explosion among others. We are believing that by April next year our school will be up and running.

Please use this link to donate towards this noble cause. Africa now needs solutions not reactions. We need opportunity now not endless Charity. We believe that with our own land we will do more.

Here is the link and please share our message with your friends and family, workmates among others. If you have any questions please write them in the comments section.

Meet Esther Katono She is 15 years old, she finished her primary school last year. Esther is an orphan who is academically talented. She lost her mother in 2016 and since then her life has never been the same. She has three younger siblings Rachael, Sharon and Joel as i will profiling them here. She is supposed to be in her first year in high school but because of her status she can not afford the school fees and other school requirements.
She dreams about becoming a lawyer who will advocate for more girls and boys of her category. I know someone out there God has blessed you and you're capable of becoming Esther's God parent. With just $30 per month which is $90 per term we can help Esther to fulfill her dreams. If you are interested in sponsoring an orphan child like Esther please comment below or come to my inbox and i will share all the details.

Dream together.

Faith and love are not separate entities, but rather two sides of the same coin. One can not be extricated from the other without devaluing the whole piece.

Here at HACF, we believe in the power of intentional living and other centered loving; and we are driven by the inexhaustible excess faith allows us to receive.

When love is the motivating factor, it can often seem as though we are simply along for the ride; and we are so incredibly privileged and excited to bring you, our followers, along with us on this faith-driven adventure.

Thank you for joining with us! ❤️ 💪🏾

Here at HACF, we believe in the power of education to transform lives, and terraform culture. Our mission is to empower women and children with superior schooling, spiritual discipline, vocational training, and the tools necessary to create and sustain small businesses.

We want to change the world, and we have already begun with the individual worlds of the women and children of Africa. Become an agent of change; believe with us. ✊

Isiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Best way to honor Christ in this festive season is through Feeding the hungry, Clothing the Naked, Forgiving one another just as He forgave our sins, giving a hand of fellowship to those who actually don't deserve it under normal circumstances, visiting the orphans and widows, taking good care and praying for the sick, and above all sharing the gospel with everyone around us. When we do such things and more others that I have not noted here, we reveal the heart of christ to the hurting world. Merry Christmas to you all my family and friends.
This is how we ended our year as Hope For African Child Foundation www.hopeforafricanchild.com. Thank you to whoever heeded to my call this year and supported us in different capacities. Thank you for spreading love and kindness. Surely the seeds you're sowing today will surely bare fruits at some point. We can't thank you enough.

The world needs love not theories. If we love more than we hate. Smile more than we frawn, give more than we take, pray more than we play, correct more than we judge. This world would be a safe Haven. Greetings from Hope For African Child Foundation www.hopeforafricanchild.com. This Christmas season as you make your plans please keep in mind that there is a child in Uganda who is praying so hard that you will consider giving towards his or her education, food, clothing, housing etc... This therefore serves to remind you of the definition of true religion which is visiting orphans and widows, homeless and all sorts of vulnerable people not just in Africa but also in your community. If you would love to partner with us in ministry feel free to contact me either via email or Facebook messenger or via the comments section. Thank you.

Another voice of reason advocating for innocent young girls. Let's work together to bring this to an end.

Our Mission & Vision

Our mission is to provide children with a quality education and the tools they need for physical, emotional, and spiritual health. And ultimately, we want to see cultural transformation and social change in Uganda, so that people are equipped and able to step into their full potential.

Hope For African Child Foundation is a registered NGO in Bujagali, (Jinja District) UGANDA. It began as a dream in the hearts of its founder, Joel Biyinzika, and a small group of university students looking to impact the poor and disempowered people of their home town. Rather than pursue their own careers in the city after school, Joel and his friends moved back to their village and formed an organization aimed at lifting up and empowering women and children. Though their resources were limited, their dreams were large-scale and far-reaching, and before long, those dreams began to materialize right before their eyes.

In order to affect lasting change in their community, HACF has always believed in taking a multi-faceted, multileveled approach to addressing the underlying causes of poverty and disempowerment. And we believe that if we are to build something good, we must begin with a solid foundation.

That’s why we are putting together a team of education experts to create a customized curriculum for a brand new kind of school: Foundations Preparatory School. Our school will not only give our kids an excellent academic education, but it will also address the fundamental building blocks of healthy childhood development. Please visit our website, www.hopeforafricanchild.com for more details and to partner with us in this important work
