The bible in the book of John chapter 4 has an interesting story which was the conversation of Jesus Christ and the Samaritan woman. The conversation began with a beg for water to the woman but the woman was not ready to respond positively because just of what she term a different in their culture, tribes, social matters and other.
John 4:9
The Samaritan woman said to Him, How is it that you, being a Jew, ask me, a Samaritan [and a] woman, for a drink? — For the Jews have nothing to do with the Samaritans (AMP).
So there above from the scripture it was not just because she was Samaritan but also a woman. The social interaction at that time were harder and difficult not just as in our days which it’s possible to interact and associate with other cultures with different color and race. What I learn there was just how Jesus was so committed to His purpose and come to the point of not afraid of how the society will understand him, how his disciples or other friends and family members but most important is to serve the will of God by affecting and transforming the generation and generation to come through his message “Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand”
Math 4:17.
The effective and most efficiently was to do that is by sharing with wisdom, explain with love, listen with compassion, demonstrate with life examples and pray with earnest heart.
Through this way the woman didn’t felt ashamed or angry when Jesus tell him of his inmost ward staffs but she felt the love of God in her heart and automatic cause her to repent and declare in the public for the intention of abstain and be the testimony to the rest of the people with the same message to warn the people to turn to Christ Jesus also.
Jesus repeatedly use this method to reach the life of people individually as Nicodemus (John 3), those brother in the road to Emmaus, Mary and Martha, and so many peoples even his disciples.
God is so faithful and just so that He may deliver us from the bondage and the yoke of an enemy.
He want to use us with the same message of Christ to reach many of our generation and transform their life for God’s glory. Many youth and teenagers are in crisis of the “spirit technology” which in turn initiate within them the need to see they don’t want Christ in their life.
Matt 28:19-20
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (NIV)
Rom 1:16
“For I am not ashamed of the Gospel (good news) of Christ, for it is God's power working unto salvation [for deliverance from eternal death] to everyone who believes with a personal trust and a confident surrender and firm reliance, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” (AMP)
So for any one born of Christ should not be ashamed to tell the friends and the colleagues that is born again while demonstrating it in lifestyle also be bold to share of the goodness and awesome how Christ is in our life and the life to come.
God bless you all,
The writer.

[11/25/16]   #TAFAKARI Freedom in Christ (Galatians 5:1-6)

• Kisha akamwamini Hanania kwa sababu ya uaminifu wake, na uchaji Mungu(VIGEZO);

[10/28/16]   MEANING OF TAFES.
TAFES is an acronym that stands for Tanzania Fellowship of Evangelical Students. It is a national and Interdenominational Christian organization ministering to students in Universities, Colleges. It is hence a Fellowship of Christian students, associates and staff all over Tanzania who have come together regardless of their denominational affiliations in order to reach students with gospel of Christ Jesus.
BRIEF HISTORY AND BACKGROUND
• The history of TAFES is built on the foundation of the church history that eventually influences student's movement worldwide.
• The history shows that Universities and Colleges played a big role in the sharpening and expansion of the Christian faith.
• Student movements gave birth to the revival of Christian faith in Europe, America, China, India and Africa.
• Universities were centers of ideas and actions, many students left Europe for mission to reach out Africa, Asia and South America. It is the same people who gave their lives to mission that eventually joined efforts to launch an international student movement.
• I947: IFES was formed(International Fellowship of Evangelical Students)
• 1950s: PAFES was formed in Africa (Pan Africa Fellowship of Evangelical Students)
TAFES work started as a spontaneous work of God in the emerging Universities of East Africa in the mid-1950s. The Pan African Fellowship of Evangelical Students (PAFES), a wing of the international Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES), coordinated the students' ministry in African Universities. In 1973, the East Africa wing of PAFES adopted the name of Fellowship of Christian Unions (FOCUS).
FOCUS, East Africa coordinated the Christian fellowships at the university of East Africa that were comprised of what are now Makerere University, University of Dar Es Salaam and Nairobi University.
After the dissolution of East African Community, operational problems cropped up and forced the breaking up of FOCUS East Africa into autonomous national movements bearing the same name.
FOCUS Tanzania operated under Scripture Union (Tanzania) until June 1990 when the Ministry was legally registered with the government of the United Republic of Tanzania. It was at that time that the name was changed from FOCUS to TAFES.
Currently TAFES is operating in 8 regions namely- Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, Dodoma, Arusha, Morogoro, Mbeya, Iringa, and Moshi.
TAFES Head office is located in Plot 591 Kalenga Street off United Nations Upanga Dar es Salaam. The office is very close to Muhimbili University
