Katikati Community Baptist Church

hi id like to make new frends so there iv put it out there hope i get a blessed reply
I have a son called Russell too, not as good as you but plugging along. He was on Japanese countrywide TV last night on a 2 hour quizz programme, not the gospel but Russell is watching for opportunities to preach the gospel. See what your prayers are doing under God. I hope to visit NZ before I die and would love to swing around to the Community Baptist Church. God may well let me see you again.
It's nice to see your photo. At 87 mine is ready for heaven though being excited in communicating with an old friend I am likely to exaggerate. But surely Christians are allowed a bit of excess in expressing our thoughts about God and each other. God bless all at Katikati. Katikati Mountain is famous in Japanese lore. But Mt Zion is really famous and we'll meet there for sure at the feet of the Lord Jesus.
Hello Russell & Lois and Katikati Community Baptist
I just wanted to remind you all about Marriage Week planned for 13 to 19th September.
We are planning for a promotion in the BOP Times and will keep you informed. JAMES

God bless you.

Happy Christmas to you all. May you be blessed by the amazing love shown to us by Jesus.

Christmas Al Fresco.....a fun day for the church family and guests. We celebrated God’s amazing gift of Jesus and had a yummy BBQ. There was even a bouncy castle for the kids. A great day!

What a amazing time we all had today at the community lunch at KCBC! Thank you to all of those who came along and to all those who put in the hard work to make this event possible! The kids really enjoyed the games Paula had organized and many special memories were made. Such a fun, loving and caring environment was provided and God's presence was among us. 🙂

[08/29/18]   -TRY GOD-

A sign on a church notice board read, 'Try God Week.' The idea was simple enough: if you try him for a week and don't like the results, you can go back to your old life again. Peter didn't tell the crowd on the Day of Pentecost to try God for a week. He preached, 'Repent, and let every one of you be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call' (Acts 2:38-39 NKJV).

A fish doesn't try water; it needs water in order to survive. A plant doesn't try soil; it needs soil in order to grow. Likewise, you don't try God; you need God because there's a void within you only he can fill. And he wants to do more than just come into your life; he wants to take over your life! 'But I struggle with certain weaknesses,' you say. The truth is we're all born with certain proclivities; some are just more obvious than others. That's why every one of us needs to 'be born again' (John 3:3). As Jesus explained to Nicodemus, although he had a natural birth he needed a spiritual birth to enter God's Kingdom.

Salvation and the guarantee of Heaven take place immediately; all you have to do is put your trust in Christ.

This song below ties in nicely with what had just been said. So, I encourage you all to 'Try God' and experience freedom you've never felt before, love unexplainable, peace, joy and much more! This Friday, 7p.m. @ Katikati Community Baptist Church is the perfect opportunity for those who want to 'Try God' . You'll hear about the after death experience of Ian McCormack. I have heard his testimony in person and it was the most touching story I have ever heard! Hope to see you there.

Friday night we had a 1/2 night of Prayer at Katikati Community Baptist Church. A time for reflection, intercession and celebration. A great opportunity away from the distractions of the day and to be in God's presence.
These are three of eleven Prayer Stations we set up.
Prayed for the upcoming Huia Come Home seminar in April, a greater evidence of the Fruit of the Spirit in our lives, also for friends and family we would like see come to Jesus.
What a blessing it was for so many people!
