This week we read about King Hezekiah. A man who trusted in and obeyed God as he destroyed every high place of pagan worship in Judah and removed false gods. As a result he prospered. Overtime we begin to see how pride seeps in. For us as leaders, it is so easy to fall into the trap of pride when we forget who God is, what He has done for us and who Jesus has called us to connect/point them/reach out and pour in to. Some questions to reflect on after listening to the message.
1. What are the areas in your life where PRIDE is dwelling in?
2. Who are you pouring into in the next generation?

podbean.com This week Ps Taulu speaks on the rule and reign of King Jehu who was the King of Israel after King Jehoram. As we continue to delve into the history of these kings, we begin to see a common pattern or thread in which they started off well but didn't finish strong. Jehu, despite obeying God and getti...
We continue our sermon series 'Kings of Old' with Rowena sharing on the life of King Asa (2 Chronicles 14-16). At the beginning of his reign, he was known as a man who did what was good and right in the eyes of the Lord his God. Towards the end of his reign something shifted in the decisions he made, which would ultimately affect the state of Judah. As we listen to this timely message, this quote is a reminder for us in our walk with God.

Good morning fam,
We begin our two weeks sermon series titled, Urban Legend.
Urban Legend is a modern myth. It is a perceived reality, in which a person insist that the story being told is true, without evidence to back it up. An example of it was BIGFOOT.
Pastor Taulu explores another Urban Legend; a common worldwide belief that there are many ways to God. He shares in this podcast message a biblical perspective on this concept.

After being sedated in ICU for over a month, doctors feared 55-year-old Samoan woman Lilian Su’a would not survive.
They told her family to prepare to say their goodbyes. But instead, her family prayed. After 2 months battling Covid-19 Lilian’s beaten the disease and was New Zealand’s last hospitalised Covid-19 patient.
She shared her story exclusively with First Up.
Let’s continue to stay connected and keep encouraging those around each other all the while maintaining the rules of Level 2. You got this! 🙌🧡

Good morning! Today’s RECALL is brought to you by none other than our worship warrior Josh. Be blessed!
RECALL - a call to action
Hi fam 🙂
Fi’s message was pretty cool! What she started with was resounding in my head over and over: Every warrior has a cause to fight for.
I know that I’m not in this walk merely because I enjoy God and plan to stay in this grace I’ve now found as beautiful as it is! I seek God to BE better. I want to learn how to relate to people better and to love on people better. I want to learn how to pray for people better. I want to learn how to articulate the gospel better.
Don’t quote me on this but in my 5 years of walking with God, I’ve come to believe that the MOST important thing is the harvest and that’s it. How will we add to this family of ours? And this isn’t entirely impersonal too. I have so many people I love so much that don’t give God a single thought and it’s scary. Thankful for the message Fi brought to us reminding me that yes I HAVE a reason to contend for my faith. To sacrifice the video games I want to play, the TV shows I want to watch. I’m reminded that the labour, as tiring and as lonely as it can sometimes get, it’s worth it if the ONE person acknowledges God EVEN ONCE.
What this looks like is exactly what Fi said: We need to make REGULAR contact with God. This keeps God and the people you're praying and hoping for at the centre of your focus. When we don’t give God that time, and we’re not surrounded by like-minded warriors, all that gets pushed to your peripherals and just doesn’t seem too important anymore. When I get lazy, I actually have to tell myself sometimes “Josh, in his right mind, ACTUALLY cares about this” lol
I don’t know where this is going. 😂
Miss you church! Can’t wait to fellowship in person again. 💪

Hey Fam 👋
We are blessed to have this warrior @nadeen_papalii share today’s recall, based from Ps Taulu’s REMIX message last Sunday WARRIOR(week #3). 💪
RECALL - a call to action
I’ve realised to have a warrior spirit is to first actually be in the spirit 🤦🏽♀️. To follow the analogy of ‘fighting’ I would first do all that I could and then “tag” the Holy Spirit to come in and finish off. I would engage the spirit after my own efforts. This was a warped view. The warrior spirit requires me to be led and in tune with the spirit before the ‘fight’ begins not after I’ve done according to my own wisdom. I’ve learnt that the Holy Spirit is wanting to engage in all areas of my life hence the plea to ‘pray about all things’; not just the hard things. A warrior spirit isn’t just what we put on for a battle; it’s what we put on for our everyday - how we greet people, how we do the dishes, how we respond to emails, how we respond when we’re tired etc. The ultimate battle has already been won, I just need to walk in that confidence.

Hi fam 👋
As you are well aware, with the current COVID-19 lockdown state of affairs in NZ, many parents have found themselves thrown into the situation of suddenly homeschooling! This might be fun for some, but we know that it can be a daunting and often stressful task, especially when you feel like you don't know where to start!
We have been made aware that some families might appreciate some helpful tips and advice regarding homeschooling, so we are organising a Zoom chat for this Sunday May 3rd at 3pm ,which will be hosted by Rowena and Millie who have each been homeschooling their kids for over 12 years.
If you are interested in being a part of this call, please PM us ASAP so that we can get the ZOOM details out to you. Bring your questions and your struggles and we will do our best to help encourage and equip you to be the best "suddenly homeschoolers" that you can be.

Happy Thursday Fam! Today’s RECALL is from our beautiful sister Marina. Be encouraged today knowing God can rebuild broken ruins (us) and He has called us to do the same for others.
RECALL - a call to action
I am loving online church A LOT! Worshipping with my babies and discussing sermons together in our home has been awesome. Pastor Rowena’s sermon last Sunday on the story of Nehemiah and God using him to “supernaturally rebuild the devastated walls of Jerusalem” got me emotional especially with the testimony of her son Miah, a true testament of Gods love!
I have been a single mum for 10 years and came into the church in 2014 where God had begun to do a crazy amazing work to rebuild the broken hearts in my little aiga comprised of me, my son Layson and my daughter Sariyah. PRAYER has truly gotten us through hard times and what the story of Nehemiah reminds me of, is the STRENGTH that comes with prayer, faith and with spiritual family. We need Gods strength, there is no other way we can get through this life without it – well that’s my take!
There are not enough pages to document Gods faithfulness but I wanted to share and encourage our church family that if God can rebuild my family from the inside out then He can rebuild yours too. He can rebuild the ruins inside of us as we unite together to rebuild the devastation in this world. But it always begins with you first then to your immediate family then to the extended family and out into the world. God just cares too much for our genealogy to have us walking in this life alone so stay strong my spiritual aiga! God is for us woohoo!!!
P:S: Shout out to the team who put the song video together LOL I’m gonna call you the EN ROOTS! “….Do not be afraid of the enemy! Remember the Lord who is great and glorious, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes!”
– Nehemiah 4:14

Medical workers around the world continue to be on the frontline of the coronavirus fight. Victory, our Every Nation church in Manila, Philippines, has opened its building to not only provide relief but to share the gospel.
Morena! Here is our Thursday RECALL from Thomas. You will always see him ready to greet you at the door on Sundays or help you out at the help desk. Let’s continue to be light for those around us!
Hi Church Family,
I was really encouraged by the message last Sunday. What I recall and what stood out for me was the question Ps Taulu posed at the end of his sermon. What battles do we think are worth fighting for? During this lockdown period I’ve felt challenged with understanding why this is all happening and how am I supposed to carry myself as a Christian.
When I reflect, a few things I’ve found out. It’s in the high pressure times do we really find out what your core beliefs are and which of your friends and family are the ones who you can call when you’re in a tight jam.
Right now I feel that God is calling us as followers to really be the light in the darkness. Be it at home with family, with our neighbours and communities.

We hope your Easter lockdown has been a blessed time of remembering and reflecting on what Jesus did for you and I on the cross and of who He is in His resurrection.
Just a friendly reminder we have our online church gathering tomorrow morning. The REMIX message should be available in your Inbox by 10am on Sunday. Let’s celebrate Jesus together! 🙌✝️❤️ #ensouthside #remixSunday #JesusAlive
Hey Fam, this week we have our very own Fitaloa sharing with you all. Be blessed!
I am encouraged from Sunday's REMIX message about Jesus being our Hope. Since we are already a couple of weeks into lockdown, it has made me miss my family. My family live in Fiji while I am here in New Zealand doing ministry. I usually travel to Fiji to see them twice a year but since this lockdown has been enforced and flights have been on hold it has made this separation more evident for me because I am unsure when the country’s borders will be lifted and air travel will be safe again throughout the year.
One thing that gives me assurance is when Pastor Taulu reminded us on Sunday that Jesus is our Hope in this season especially during Covid-19. I have hope that God is covering my family in Fiji as much as he is covering me. I have hope that even though I am separated from them by sea, I will see them again soon, as I continue to wait patiently on the Lord to provide a safe passage way for me.
I am in hope that God is watching over my brother as he is an essential worker serving the nation of Fiji. I have hope that God is looking after my mother who is now transitioning to teach online as she works for the University of the South Pacific. Hope is my message this season. I am grateful and have sure confidence that God's protection is over me here in NZ and over my family in Fiji.
