[12/25/20]   Merry Christmas Family!!

Let me remind you today as we commemorate and Celebrate the greatest event of all time, The Birth Of Jesus the Christ that Christmas is a time when we remember what is truly important. This morning please take time to focus on the greatest gift ever given – the gift of Jesus Christ that no matter what difficulty you are experiencing in life, Christmas teaches us that a Savior has come.

He (Jesus) didn't come to fill our empty stocking, not to just give us a good job and lots of money and material increase (even unbelievers and evil people have all these things in abundance) ; He came to fill our empty soul! He came to save us from our sins and save us from our sadness and eternal punishment. His coming (incarnation) is indeed "good news of great joy!" You see, this baby born in Bethlehem over 2000 years ago is the Mighty God of the universe, the One who loves us and invites us to His throne of grace. He is the Wonderful Counselor who understands all about our hurt and pain. He knows ... He cares ... and He can do something to help. But the miracle of Christ’s birth isn’t something we should reflect today only or just during this time of the year. The fact is, the gift of God to us, Jesus Christ, is something that should motivate us to move every day of our lives.

Let me encourage you today like I do myself that If you have accepted the free gift of salvation through Christ, if you have believed in the power of His Death Burial and Resurection, then you have a responsibility to allow that gift to drive you. You should be motivated to live differently than you did before. You should be motivated to seek God with all your heart. And you should be motivated to reach out to the world around you and introduce them to that same gift. If you haven't made that decision today is the day of salvation Accept Jesus into your heart, Believe that He is the only savior for the world, the lamb of God that bears the weightbog the the sin of the whole world so you be forgiven of all your sins, secure your eternity in Christ and receive the greatest gift ever given, life abundant, life eternal.

Merry Christmas. May Christ indeed be the reason for this season.

Merry Christmas Once again

In service

Rightly dividing the word of truth.

[08/13/20]   The Christian life was not meant to be lived in alone. It is not a solitary lifestyle. God gave you a family He chose for you, it is called the church and it consists of all believers in the world whom God has put in your path. Don't count yourself out of the church. Your needs God made sure to provide for in others. Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

[05/15/20]   A Few days ago I was on a WhatsApp conversation with a friend. We had a beautiful conversation where we talked about the confusion in the world right now. Indeed We live in an unpredictable and sometimes dangerous world. It can leave your heart feeling cluttered, confused, and broken.
*Now what do we do when we are confused and don't Know what to do or think?*
You simply need to set aside time to sit quietly in the presence of God and allow Him to reveal His truth and impart His wisdom in your heart. You will gain strength, understanding, and courage. If you can stop focusing on the bad news and allow the good news of Jesus Christ to saturate your soul you will find you can lie down in the green pastures, beside the quiet waters and feel the rush of restoration over your soul. The peace of God will settle over your hearts and minds. He will restore the brokenness, renew your minds and guard your exposed and susceptible hearts. So take time to be still before the Lord and let Him restore your soul.
If there is a time for us to take God's word, it is now. If there us time to seek His will, it is now. If there is a time to embrace and cherish the gospel message of Christ, it is now. See what Jesus says to our lives today:

Matthew 11:28-30 *“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”*

[04/30/20]   Don't trust God if! Don''t trust when! Trust God ..... Period! Continue to seek His face and cling to Him in complete trust. It may not happen in the time we want it or it may not happen in the way we want it but when we trust Him without wavering, He will bring you through any difficulty. Get me right, any difficulty.
*My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you. Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.

Proverbs 3:1-8

[04/28/20]   As we already announced at Soche Baptist church last sunday, this coming Sunday, will be the first Sunday that to hold 3 services in the morning in order to decongest the Chichewa service. As we all know, it is the church's responsibility to help in the fight/prevention of Covid 19.

The new service time schedules are:
English service: 7:30-9:00
Chichewa service: 9:00-10 30
Chichewa service 10:30-12:00

The services will be shorter than the traditional Sunday Chichewa service we are used to. This will help us accommodate the time schedules we have set.
Feel free to choose any one service to attend.

*Note*: The midweek service schedule remains the same, Wednesday 6:00-7:00pm

Uzaniko ena

Blessed day

[04/17/20]   SBC Devotion April 17

*My God will supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19*

I wanted to share this wonderful passage and promise with you. There is so much of uncertainty around us. With the government announcing tougher measures against Covid 19, there is so much of unrest, unpredictability and instability surrounding us. Though this might be the first time for us, this is not strange and it is not the first time. The world offers no guarantee of any kind – whether it’s health, protection to life or property, social security, No guarantee at all!!!.
Now where do we stand? As followers of Christ, we have a guarantee. When we accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and follow His commands, we have access to God and everything He is; peace, provision, protection and more. That means no matter what is happening in the world and our Country today, as we obey God's Word, our needs will be met. God is still our Source; and if our Source is okay, then we are okay, too. Rest assured there is no lack in heaven. With God nothing is impossible.
Not only is God able to meet our needs, He revels in joy to meet our needs. It gives Him great pleasure to bless and prosper us. We need to trust His Word, His Promise and Him. He will open the windows of heaven and pour out His grace, mercy, blessing and peace on every area of our lives. Aren't you happy and comforted that we serve a God who promises to supply all our needs!
Trust in God!
Together let's take some time and pray to God, He cares, He will deliver us. He is the only one who can.
Stay blessed.

[04/11/20]   Reminder:

Tomorrow at Soche Baptist Church we will have a combined service and idzayamba 8:00am.
We will have dedication of Children, Baptism and Holy Communion.
Let's keep time.
