ACTS (Announcing Christ to Schools) aims at conveying the Christian message to teenage students in a way which they can relate to and experience. ACTS is part of Tabgha Foundation which is responsible for Youth Fellowship.
ACTS (Malta) exists to: (a) Support form 4 students in government, private and Church schools sectors, in their spiritual growth, through a dynamic student programme and personal testimony; (b) Provide follow up for the 14-to-16 year-old students, who wish to find further support in their spiritual growth, through ACTS Teens and personal assistance, and; (c) Recruit and train older youths as full-time volunteers, to implement, together with the coordinators, both the student programme and the follow-up initiatives.
Mission: ACTS is a Catholic school outreach project which exists to help students in the upper forms of secondary schools in Malta appreciate and discover the relevance of cultivating a sincere spiritual life and contributing to the strengthening of the moral fibre of today’s youth. The composition of the group itself of mainly young volunteers, complements the approach and method used to make the programme offered as dynamic and effective as possible.
John 20:19-23 // Have you ever realised that the story of Pentecost can be applied to our life even now? The disciples were gathered in a room with closed doors because they were afraid, they were lost, they had lost hope, they didn't know what to do next. How many times do we feel like this? Whether you're feeling afraid of the future, or whether you're discouraged in the difficult situations you're going through, Jesus comes if we invite Him to. Jesus stood among the disciples, and said, “Peace be with you!”, giving them the Holy Spirit. His power can give you courage, strength and a brave heart to be peaceful in the chaos. Will you accept the power of the Holy Spirit and the peace He is so very willing to give you today?

"I first attended ACTS Teens for Mission Camp in 2014 with my friend Luke. I would recommend ACTS Teens because I feel that it not only is a place of spiritual growth, but also mental growth where you can develop your character with like-minded people who are all walking the path with you. Fun fact: I have a vast collection of sea shells collected from different places all around the world. Some of them are really big with beautiful colours!" ~ Peter Pullicino #gettoknowtheteam #gettoknowHT #ACTSTeens

Meet Trisha 👧 "I’m 17 years old, turning 18 next month. I wish I had a dog but instead I have about 50 birds. My hobbies include reading, watching movies, walking and cooking. Currently I’m studying for my A levels so that hopefully next year I will be in University.I joined ACTS Teens in the beginning of 2017, a few months before Bootcamp of that year. I found out about it through my school’s outreaches. What caught my eye first is how happy these people were and also their sense of community. I started making new friends and through time I’ve built many meaningful and honest friendships. A fun fact about me is that I’m trying to learn how to play the guitar and the Turkish language." ~ Trisha Cassar 🎶 🙏

With everything that has been going on in the last few months or maybe in the personal storm you’re facing, it is easy to forget that God is still in control. Just remember that God still sees you. Yes, our God who created the seas, the mountains, the stars, sees you! You’re His most treasured possession. He knows what you’re going through and He is on your side through it all. He also knows you and what you need in this moment. All you need to do is just trust Him. So I encourage you to find 10 minutes in your day today, surrender all your worries to Him, trust Him, and let Him lead the way because He wants the very best for you. In the meantime we promise you our prayers. Stay Safe!

Meet Gianluca 👦🏼 "I first joined ACTS Teens almost two years ago at the beginning of Summer 2018. I found out about it through a few of my friends. What I immediately noticed as soon as I walked down the ramp was the atmosphere of the place, the happiness and feeling of community. I kept coming to ACTS Teens because I wanted to discover my faith and because I really liked the people there. ACTS Teens helped me to grow in my faith and realise that faith is not a private thing, but it is a gift which can be shared and enjoyed with others. A fun fact about me is that I have been playing the clarinet for 8 years! " ~Gianluca Xuereb 🙏 🎶

Here are Nicole and Matthew with a cover of Wonder! 🎶♥️:D
Now that Easter has passed, it is easy to passively fall back into normal routines as if nothing had happened. We seem to only remember what took place on that cross for the period of Lent or Holy week. We forget about the abundant love He has for us, that lead to the cross. We forget that as He was tortured to death, He had each and everyone of our names in His heart. We forget that He defeated death, and came out victorious out of that tomb. Even though it was finished on that cross, God still left something for us to do. He gave us the choice to allow Him to love us, to leave our sins on that cross, and resurrect into new life with Him. What are you going to do now? Are you going to trust that He has already won the next time hardships come about? Are you going to allow Him to love you? I encourage you to find 10 minutes to meditate on the passion of Jesus, and also think of practical ways you can incorporate into your routine that remind you of His great love for you.
Meet Cristina 👧. "My very first meeting was the 2016 Christmas party and I’ve never turned back. Everyone there would always be smiling or laughing, and I knew that this is where I wanted to be. I would always look forward to the weekly Friday meeting to be able to meet up with my friends and praise the Lord at the same time. Ever since I was a child, I always had the exposure to God, but through ACTS Teens I managed to discover my faith in my own way, and I was able to find a deeper meaning of it. ACTS Teens is a place where you can explore your faith, get to know new people and always feel like you have a second home.
Something you may or may not know about me is that I am passionate about music and dance and my current outlet of that is continuous TikToks."~ Cristina Borg 🎶💃

"One Thursday (before the meetings switched to Friday) in July 2012, I went down the ramp of Gattard with my hair in a tight bun after ballet, excited and nervous but most importantly without my parents. Growing up in the Community ACTS Teens forms part of, I looked forward to this moment - when I started to discover my faith for myself.
ACTS Teens is a place where you, as I did, can confront all your confusing questions about life and faith, surrounded by people who are looking for the same answers. Not to mention, to share good times together during chill events and our annual epic camp!
A sneak peek into my life...during my Erasmus experience last year, my favourite thing to do was wander around towns until I found the quaintest cafe or bakery and enjoy traditional treats and coffee of course!" ~ Michela Borg 😁☕🥧

Did you know that the word "quarantine" means "40" in Italian (quarantina)? Doesn't that sound familiar? During the 40 days of Lent, we are called to build our relationship with Jesus so we can rejoice in the hope that He gave us when He rose from the dead. I don't think we ever imagined that we'd be in quarantine during Lent and it's awesome that we have the technology to remain emotionally connected with others while we are physically distancing ourselves from each other. However, social media can become an endless loop as we tap through Instagram stories and feel like others' experiences of quarantine are just so much better than ours. But please stop comparing! The way you live your life during quarantine and Lent can look totally different and that's okay! Check out the link for the full blog post (I've got some tips!) https://bit.ly/39OeKK5 ~ Sarah Zammit Munro 🖊😊✍️🔝💯

Meet Ella! 👧"I joined ACTS Teens in the beginning of 2017, a few months before bootcamp of that year. I initially knew about it because I grew up in the community, plus my brother used to attend it every Friday. As soon as you walk into ACTS Teens, you never feel judged. Everyone is willing to talk and ready to be your friend.
Besides enjoying the actual meeting, I wanted to start helping out from the moment I joined. I wanted to serve and give what I could, even if it was a little.
Personally, ACTS Teens is a so called reminder that I need to frequently turn to the Lord. If I would have a week where my prayer life is lacking, I always know that on Friday I'm going to get a chance to sort it all out. I've also learnt a lot about the Lord and ways to strengthen my faith through ACTS Teens.
ACTS Teens is not a place where you go and are forced to have a relationship with God. It is a balance between talks, time with the Lord, and getting to know the people around you. It's extremely enjoyable, helps out with your religion and makes your faith grow.
Fun fact about me is that I'm very passionate when it comes to anything that has to do with music. It's a big part of my life and I love writing my own music to express myself"~Ella Pullicino 👧 🙏 🎶 😍
