[03/26/20]   I as Pastor of Yokota ICA had to make a decision after prayerfully and seeking counsel. My decision is to curtail all ministries and shutdown for two Sundays 29 Mar and 5 Apr. I have been monitoring both the base and the Japanese government and following their recommendations. So to be part of the help to prevent further spread of the virus. I will be “Preaching the Word” via UTube and will send out the link on Saturday. Be safe, cautious and remember Psalm 91:2. God Bless IMUA

Good morning Yokota ICA hope all is well. We are now on our 10th day of our prayer month.
1 Timothy 6:6-7 6 But godliness with contentment is great gain 7 for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world.
Godliness is not "letting go and letting God." You can’t just drift into godliness. It is vital to remember that growth in godliness calls for strenuous involvement on our part. Friends, How are you doing in your growth in godliness? Are you making every effort, every day, to exercise self-discipline? At this point, beware of the trap of falling into "self-effort" or legalism. As believers our only hope for growing in godliness is by continual dependence on the Holy Spirit, who enables us to work out our salvation in fear and trembling. Remember you came into this world with nothing and you will leave this world with nothing!
Love you all, have a blessed day and see you all tomorrow.
Aloha Ke Akua IMUA Pastor

Good morning Yokota ICA as we enter into our 5th day of our prayer month. Our scripture for today is:
Isaiah 4:10 fear not, for I am with you;be not dismayed, for I am your God;I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
God's word is telling us to have "Courage" God is speaking primarily to the exiled Jews during their long and painful captivity in Babylon; and the idea is, that they who had been selected by God to be his special people had nothing to fear. But the promise is one for us Christians too, that who are in similar circumstances, and it is as true now as it was then, that those whom God has chosen have nothing to fear. This is a reason why we should not be afraid. God is our protector, and of whom should we be afraid. 'If God be for us, who can be against us?' Don't be dismayed, but be calm and don't freak out when you under any apprehension from your enemy. Why, "For I am thy God" He is able to preserve and strengthen you. The God of heaven is our God; and as he has all power, and that power, is pledged for our protection,we should have nothing to fear. "I will uphold thee" He will enable you to bear all your trials. And with the the right hand of His righteousness we can rely on and be very secure in his loving hands.
Fear not, Don't be not dismayed, He will strengthen you, He will help you, and He I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Are you discouraged? Is life beating you up? This is for you! See you in church tomorrow.
Aloha Ke Akua IMUA Pastor

Good Morning Yokota ICA. As we enter our 5th day of prayer, just a reminder it also the first friday of the month so beside prayer this morning, we also fasting from sunrise to sunset. Be diligent in your walk with the Lord.
Today scripture is:
1 Corinthians 13:4-8: 4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; 6 it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.
7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.
These scripture passage are very popular, but of a greater importance. If you read deeply you will see it sums up everything most important in life and spirituality. It tells us how our relationship toward people, and at the same time how we should reveal God’s nature towards every person, because “God is love. 1 John 4:16 says; So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. As the verses before this passage reveal, it does not matter in the least what we do in life, or what “spiritual gifts” we might possess, if we do not have love, those gifts are useless, and meaninglessness. So what I am saying; it is very necessary that we understand, to the best of our abilities, what is meant by “love”. Do you process the love of God, that is reveal to everyone you meet?
I love you all. Aloha Ke Akua IMUA Pastor

Good morning, hope all are well this morning as we enter into day 4. Our scripture is Matt 10:42 And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.”
After going through several Bible aids, I gather two important application for our lives as Christians:

1. Nothing should prevent you from the ministry to which God has called you and be sure not to leave the ministry of the Gospel because of material needs. Never forget ”the worker is worthy of his support” and that the Savior will fulfill your needs and He will give you a great reward at His coming.

2. To look after other disciples of the Lord Jesus who fulfill His command and go to preach the Gospel with devotion. When they come to church that you will shepherd or to your home, receive them in a way worthy of God and help them in their work with what you can, without waiting for something from them instead. Your reward will be from God and from the Lord Jesus who said that even for a glass of water given to those who work in the Gospel you will not lose the reward.

Let’s care, help and love one another as Christ loves the church. We all need to create a unity that shows people that Yokota ICA is the real deal. We show love for each other through our actions.

I love each one of you, see you tomorrow morning.
Aloha Ke Akua IMUA. Pastor

Good morning Yokota ICA. I pray all are doing well as we move into our 3rd day of prayer for the month. Here is our scripture for today.
Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
As you read this verse, please ask yourself this question
Does that verse even come close to describing me?
Much love and Aloha.
Aloha Ke Akua. IMUA Pastor
