Operating as usual

WOW!! What a fantastic village effort! Thank you so much to everyone who so kindly donated produce to our collection for Buckingham Food Bank. As you can see from the photos, we have a wonderful array of items to pass on to this local charity which is so necessary, particularly in these uncertain times. We were also given some lovely fresh produce to decorate with, and the church looked beautiful today.
It was lovely to see some new faces in church today for Paula's first service, and we look forward to welcoming you all again in the coming weeks. Thank you again.

We would love to welcome you to our service this morning which will have a Harvest theme. It will be the first service to be led by our new vicar, Paula Smith, so it would be lovely to see as many as we can to welcome her to our parish. The usual Covid measures will be in place. We look forward to seeing you.
Paula will be in the church every Thursday morning until the end of November to meet members of the church and the local community. Morning Prayer will take place between 9.30am and 10am on these mornings. Please pop along and say hello.

[10/23/20]   As many of you will know, the church holds an extremely successful Harvest Supper and Sale of Produce every year, with the proceeds going to local charities. As Covid restrictions prevent us from holding this hugely successful event, we have decided to support a local charity in another way.
During the day, from Monday 19th to Saturday 24th October we will be placing boxes in the porch of the church to receive donations of non-perishable foods, which will then be donated to Buckingham Food Bank. This extremely worthwhile charity is a lifeline to many people, especially in these difficult times. Please help us to help them. Many thanks.

[10/12/20]   The service on Sunday 25th October will be at 11.15am. It will follow the order of service for a Holy Communion and will have a harvest theme, with readings and prayers (no hymns because we are still not allowed to sing in church). Mindful of the covid restrictions and regulations, the congregation is asked to wear masks and self-distance. Orders of service sheets will be ready for each congregant to pick up themselves and these will have been handled by nobody else prior to the service. Neither the toilet nor the kitchen will be available so we regret that no refreshments will be provided on this occasion. Please join us. You will be assured of a warm welcome.
