We are extremely grateful to everyone in the village who has supported our collection for the Buckingham Food Bank. We feel it is such a worthwhile cause, as the donations go to local families, that we plan to continue with this in the coming months. The boxes will remain in the church porch for any donations of non-perishable items that you can spare. The charity are always delighted to receive the goods, especially during these uncertain times. Please help us to help them. Thank you.

Easter Activities at Tingewick Church

Even if we cannot have Easter church services we can celebrate.
Are you decorating eggs for Easter? Come and place a home-made 'egg' on the Easter-Egg Tree in the Church Porch. All kinds of eggy decorations welcome, however inventive. Help us celebrate Easter by covering the tree in multi-coloured eggs, then take an activity booklet about the Easter story. Starts Saturday 3 April; porch open every day.
Visit the Easter Gardens Trail. The church will be open on Easter Day (4 April) and every day the following week (10am-4pm) for you and your families (in your 'bubbles') to see the display of Easter Gardens and flowers. Keep safe with masks and social distancing.

The Church of England has partnered with Marie Curie on 23rd March 2021, to mark the anniversary of the first lockdown in the UK with a national day of reflection for our collective loss due to Covid-19. It's also to support those who have been bereaved, and to hope for a brighter future.

Here in Tingewick, we are opening the Church for the day, between 10am and 4pm, for anyone who would like to remember loved ones, or simply have some quiet time for thought and prayer.
