I have just started a new series on my YouTube called Bryony Goes Bananas With Bedtime Stories. The first book I will be reading is The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson I would love it if we could read together!
This is still happening on Sunday 20th at 4.30pm!
Latest advice from Martin TETT Marking Remembrance Day As with all events at this time, we have to find ways to do this differently this year. The importance of this event goes without saying and I know many of us will still want to ensure we appropriately remember and pay our respects to those who’ve given their lives in defence of our country. It is deeply sad that in many areas there won’t be the usual public wreath-laying ceremony but we urge residents and veterans to watch the National Service of Remembrance on TV at home where we can all still observe the two minutes silence too. Stay Safe and help keep the virus down
A very big WELL DONE to everyone involved in this mornings (6th July 2020) 10am service - it was a breath of fresh air and you could see the joy in Will Pearson-Gee to be back! We will be there (on-line) for the 5pm service tonight. Dave
Church choir outing to Christchurch Cathedral. Guided tour, afternoon tea and Evensong. A wonderful experience.
I couldn't make it last night (I was down in Newbury) but watched Max on you tube this morning. Very thought provoking and entertaining at the same time Max (even if you don't see this)
Jesus; “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” (John 3:16-17 ESV) http://JesusGospelTRUTH.uk http://JesusDisciple.uk https://facebook.com/JesusGospelDAILY Jesus Gospel DAILY @ https://twitter.com/JesusGospelLIFE
Thanks so much for making your services available over live stream. Great to tune in with you this morning x

Worshipping God Making Friends Changing The World

Mission: As the people of God worshipping in this place, we have decided after prayer, discussion and seeking God's will that we want to be a Church... - where everyone feels that they are accepted. - where everyone is valued and loved and can take part in the life of the church family. - which is growing, reaching new people with the good news of Jesus Christ and drawing them into God's family. - where everyone can grow spiritually. - which serves the community. Our 'Building Blocks' are... - work with children and young people - serving the community - nurturing faith - outreach - greater lay involvement in ministry

[12/24/20]   We are gutted at the devastation this community is suffering right now - as if Tier 4 wasn’t enough to contend with. Thankfully the church building has not been needed as a designated refuge centre but if we can help we will alongside the other churches in Buckingham.

[12/21/20]   Buckingham Foodbank

The Centre will be closed on the following Tuesdays for donations

29th December
5th January

We will of course still be issuing food parcels on request throughout this period.

Many thanks from the Food Bank to everyone for their constant and generous donations.

Buckingham Parish Church : Christmas 2020

We will be rescheduling Carols by Torchlight for next Sunday at 4.30pm. This will be followed at 6pm with (indoors) contemporary carols.
Please accept our apologies for this change in plan but there is no point going ahead if people are going to have a miserable time. To sign up for our Christmas services please visit bpchurch.uk/christmas

[11/07/20]   Christmas Food Bank Message

During the pandemic, people have been amazing and constantly generous in donations to our Food Bank. Numerous food parcels were delivered and appreciated by people and families in Buckingham and surrounding villages. Without your support this would not have been possible.

We are now planning the extra Christmas parcels we send out.. I would therefore request donations of luxury Christmas goods, small boxes of sweets/chocolates, bags of chocolate coins, Christmas cake and puddings, mince pies with best before date after Christmas, tins of ham and other Christmas goods sold in shops.

The parcels are packed and sent out the first week in December, so please, all items to be in by 1st December.
Either put them in the box by the font in Church or bring them to The Centre any Tuesday 10-12 noon

Many thanks and Blessings to you all
