Tynings Lane Church Aldridge

Thank you Seedlings for making Alexander and I feel so welcome yesterday. It was our first time and we will definitely be back ###
A big thank you from Mom (Jean Mason) to those who signed her 90th birthday card and to Jen for organising beautiful flowers and the biggest balloons in the world! She was much better today than she has been for a couple of weeks and really thrilled xx
For all those who were attending the Children's PowerPack Ministries training on Saturday 12th January at St. Thomas Church, we are afraid we have had to POSTPONE because the trainer is very unwell. We hope to rearrange once she is recovered and well again, so we will keep you posted. Sorry for the any inconvenience. Please do spread the word, just in case we have missed anyone who was planning to attend, and of course please do play for Heather, for healing and a full recovery very soon. Thank you. x
Really enjoyed the Christingle service this morning complete with Pass the Parcel and Superhero quiz. Shelley loved dressing up for the present hunt.
As a Church we are taking part in Operation Christmas Child again this year. I am happy to order some of the Go boxes (preprinted shoeboxes), the cost will be either 50p or 70p per box, depending on the amount we order. I will be making a list of who requires boxes over the next week, please let me know if you would like one or more boxes. Thanks, Bec Sly.
Sending a huge THANK YOU to Kathy, Bec, Karen and Chris for all the help at the Dogs for Good Information Evening last night. I was really disappointed I couldn't be there myself but guessed no-one else wanted chicken pox! Thank you also to Stuart for posting photo's.
One of our supported charities, Dogs for Good talking about their work.
Dogs for Good giving us an inspirational talk about their work.
You watched Quinta grow from a young pup until she went into training. Come and find out what she doing now she is a fully trained, working Assistance Dog. The Dogs for Good Information Evening is tomorrow at Tynings Lane Church 8pm. Please come along and find out more about the life changing work the dogs are trained for.
For all of you who remember Quinta and those who would like to find out about her and the work she is doing. Please come along to Dogs for Good Information Evening Thursday 22nd June at 8pm at Church.

Tynings Lane Church is a Anglican community in the Parish of Aldridge.

Tynings Lane Church is one of 4 Anglican worship centres which make up the parish of Aldridge. We are Church of England and are within the Anglican Diocese of Lichfield. We believe in the saving mercy of God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, knowing Him as our Lord, our friend, our strength. We long to see others come to know him too and seek to serve the community in His name. We love welcoming new people to the church so whether you’re ‘just looking’ at the Christian faith or ready to ask some deeper questions, the doors are open for you to come and join us on this adventure with God. There are various groups and activities throughout the week – see the other pages on this site. As well as the activities, there’s also various areas of service for people to get involved in – music ministry, pastoral visiting, refreshments rota, gardening and countless others. Have a word with the minister if you are interested in helping. We hope you find Tynings Lane Church to be a place where you can develop a very special relationship with God – and become part of a loving community.

Mission: To know God and make Him known.

Love Walsall

Churches across Walsall join together for an online celebration of hope on Sunday 31st May, 6:30pm.

We’ve been gathering churches together across Walsall on Pentecost Sunday in May for many years now. The annual service usually attracts 300+ worshippers from all over the borough.

With COVID-19 restrictions prohibiting corporate gatherings, this year's service, titled “Together for Walsall", was moved online. Here is a special video, featuring contributions of prayer, worship and inspiring thoughts from churches all over the borough, premiered on YouTube on Sunday 31st May at 6:30pm.
