- Roger will share news about the work of CMSIreland and the church in Nepal (which was the focus of the recent Sunday School project); as well as introducing the project for the coming year, focusing on the church in Burundi.

We were blessed with a beautiful morning for our New Year walk along the Broadwater. About 80 people walked and/or enjoyed lunch afterwards.

NEW YEAR WALK
All welcome to join us - on Wed. 1st January - leaving from the church at 11am and returning for lunch at the Youth Hall.
Since it’s a return journey, you can walk as far (short) or as fast (slow) as you want; and just turn around when you meet others coming back in the opposite direction.

Good News! We have today submitted our application to the National Lottery Heritage Fund for a grant for our Aghalee Parish Heritage Project. Having been successful with our Stage 1 application, we were awarded a grant of £14,400 earlier this year - to enable us to carry out the Development Stage of the project. This application is for Stage 2 Delivery phase of the project. We expect to receive a decision in March 2020. Thanks to all who have helped us get to this stage - especially to Roy Hanna (Project Leader) and Jennifer Martin (Treasurer)
