Living Waters Church

Good Morning Living Waters!
We Believe - NewsBoys I believe that the Holy Spirit has the ability to speak intense words of encouragement to you through this song - this is because I have been encouraged to the point of physically "jumping for joy" in thankfulness for what our God has done for us!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------- After watching-listening to this video/song, I felt so compelled by the Spirit to share it for your benefit too..and according to this songs lyrics, here is what I have compiled to say to you: My Brothers and Sisters, In this time of desperation, when all we know is doubt and fear, We should fear no more because there is only one foundation: We ALL believe in God the Father, we believe in Jesus Christ, we believe in the Holy Spirit, so we believe that He overcame death and still does overcome it!! Even in the midst of this pandemic of the Coronavirus, let the lost be found! In the here and now - during this time of persecution from the enemy - this Coronavirus, let LOVE invade!! LET THE CHURCH "LIVE LOVE" TOWARDS OTHERS! The gates of hell will not prevail my Brothers and Sisters!! For the power of God, has torn the vail!! TIME TO TAKE A STAND AND LIVE OUT GOD'S LOVE TO OTHERS, AND DECLARE THE JESUS THE HOPE FOR ALL NATIONS!!!! 😁😁🙏⛪️❤️✝️🌍➡️🕊🕊
He has Risen! He has been resurrected from the grave of death! ~My Brothers & Sisters, 2000-some years ago, Jesus was made alive once again to defeat death and wipe away our sins! We are freed!!! TODAY IS EASTER - THE THIRD DAY! Let us rejoice! ✝️🕊❤️🌎👥⛪️🎊 Because of this bravery, we are forgiven for our sins AND we have access to live with God Our Father in Heaven for all eternity!! Mark 16:5-7 “As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. "Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples…'” John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.

Some encouraging breaking news from CBC regarding BC and covid-19. The Ministry of Health believes the steps we have taken are working and we are starting to see the much anticipated “flattening of the curve”, according to Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry: "I'm trying not to over-call it, but I do believe we've seen a flattening, a falling-off of that curve," Henry said, referring to the growth of new COVID-19 patients. We think that we've reduced that quite dramatically. What we need, though, is for everybody to continue to pay attention to these measures so we can continue to prevent transmissions in our communities ... for the coming weeks." In addition, if we look at worst case scenario models, we have the hospital capacity to deal with this. Very good news, but its early days and the Minister has stressed that we need to stay on this track in order to win the battle.
Yes & Amen, Yes & Amen, YES & AMEN! ✝️❤️👏😊
I just want to say this to the staff of Living Waters Church: Oh how loving and beautiful it is to see all of you showing love to everyone one of us that call LWC home! I say this because of the offers of help, prayer and care that all of you are presenting to us as we go through this "season of sickness" (Coronavirus). By offering these acts of physical, tangible help to us (By bringing people medication, caring for those who are sick, and so on & so forth), it really just shows what the church is supposed to be like! It shows Love in it's finest form - a selfless, radical act of kindness and compassion! What makes this such a beautiful act of love is that even though the physical Church services themselves are not in session for the next few weeks, each one of you are going out of their way to help each and everyone of us who attend LWC - to show us that the "Love of the Church" and the love Of Christ still exists even when the Physical Sunday Morning Services are cancelled. (And to add to that you are still creating weekly video sessions on Sundays for us to participate in church - from the comfort of our own homes!) Ohh how easy it could be for the staff to just close the building and for us to never hear a word from you for weeks on end as this virus tramples across our province, But that's not the case, you as a staff/team are using social media and other areas of communication to get across the facts, the facts that you ALL are here for us and that we are loved by Jesus! So I thank you each one of the staff members at Living Waters Church! May Gods light shine through!
The info stated below comes straight from the Prime Minister's himself via CBC live news: Trudeau just banned flights from other countries that are coming to Canada. Trudeau is calling out to all Canadians abroad - that it's time to come home. They must come home. Trudeau says that American Citizens, diplomats, & flight crews are ALLOWED to enter Canada but residents from other countries are NOT allowed to be let in. Trudeau says that the many trade organizations' personnel, are also allowed entry to Canada in order to keep the flow of ESSENTIAL supplies, active. Trudeau has urged that we practice "Social distancing measures" domestically, but He also emphasizes tha we continue to keep contact with friends and family via phone call or video chatting. My friends, ....stay safe...stay sanitized...stay sane. REMEMBER, GOD IS IN CONTROL OVER ALL OF THIS! DO NOT FEAR!
NOTE OF ENCOURAGEMENT ON "INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY"! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- To all of the Women out there, Today is International Women's Day! Now, aside from a lot of the controversial issues and the non-Christian reasons for the institution of this celebratory day, I do want to use it to take the time to acknowledge the greatness and wonders of Your own creation, a creation inspired and implemented by God above! Always remember, that each one of you are a beautiful creation of God, no matter what anyone says! There is a major role that each one of you play within God's kingdom, both here on this Earth and in Heaven! Thank you for all of the hard work and effort you put into the Kingdom of God - One very evident task that most Women choose to take on, is the responsibility of Motherhood! Such a task is not easy, and takes a lot of courage, strength, and determination to undergo such a extensive, long-going job! Many Women also are gifted and called to be leaders within the Church, weather from Administration, to Prophesying, all the way to Pastoring! Whether or not you become a Mother one day, you still have major roles in life! Don't ever let someone tell you otherwise. ------------------------------------------------------------- Proverbs 31:30 "Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." Proverbs 31:25 “She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” Joshua 1:9 “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Proverbs 31:26 “She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.” Blessings to all of you!

Hey Neighbours, Just another reminder that this weekend is the CAPTURE THE SPY: BLACK MOLE Community Event at Willoughby Elementary School! It's happening on March 7th, 2020 from 3PM - 5PM with a BBQ to follow. We're really excited about the event and can't wait to meet you over a fun "mission impossible" type game. For those people out there, both Men and Women, that are either single, dating, married, separated, widowed, or divorced, the following should be encouraging! -------------------------------------------------- A "Valentines Day" greeting, from God: "My dear Sons and Daughters, since the beginning of time, I knew exactly who you were as a person, and what you would look like, before you were even born. I have loved you before your creation, I have loved you when you were created, I love you now, I will always love you until the day you come home to be with me, in which I will continue to love you!" ~My Friends, Jesus is like a "Valentine's Day card", given to us from God! He gave this "Valentine's day card" to us, some 2000 years ago...on a cross! ;p He gave us Christ, in order that we can be set free from our sins and so that we can have reconciliation with God as well as the opportunity to spend a new life with Him for all eternity once we pass on from this world! 🕊🏩❤🕇 He gave this "Valentine's Day Card" to us to let us know that we are never alone relationally, even when we FEEL that we are alone, God is relationally with us through the people that he puts in each one of our own lives - so... for those single friends of mine, do not fret; there will hopefully come a time for the season of "married life"! In the meantime, accept the love that others will give to you, weather from friends, family, or from someone within the church body! Matthew 7:7-12 7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Do not be pressured by the World or by what others say about what being single means - it's not loneliness and it does not mean that you are at "a loss"! Do not be dismayed when you see others around you that are getting married or entering into relationships, for the single life is a blessing just as much as the married life, and singleness is a season in which God will use you greatly! The "single life" season is just as important as the "marriage life" season! Sooo, whether you're single, dating, married, or separated, widowed, or divorced, please know that Love is more than just what is between a Man and a Woman romantically. Love is the (unromantic) selfless, compassionate, caring action that you can place upon others, regardless of whether or not there's a potential for a marriage down the road. love is not limited from just a man to a woman, or a woman to a man, it's for everyone - God's love is meant for each other, & to be displayed through each other! Do not be frustrated if you have been searching and have not found someone, instead, seek for ways to love others unromantically and unconditionally - so deeply and radically - that Our Father above will be pleased. Be it your family, your friends, or people you don't know who are walking on the streets, or even someones else family - show them love. (1 Corinthians 13 1-8) If your heart is broken from past relationships - or if on Valentines day, you are haunted by the lies of the enemy when it comes to being single, the Lord for His love to sustain you and to fill your "relational loneliness" with love, warmth, and comfort! Embrace your singleness as a blessing from God above, and use your time wisely while "single"! As well, if you Never do find someone to marry, take it as the blessing of the "Gift of Singleness" - remaining single for the rest of your life - knowing full well that God will use you and that He will fill you with his Holy Spirit, so that you will never feel alone! "There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven" Ecclesiastes 3:1-10 --------------------------------------------------------------- In other words, Happy Valentine's Day to all of you who are single, dating, married, separated, widowed, or divorced! God bless! And Remember... You Are Not Alone!

GLOBAL WORK UPDATE - Christo & Sarah Emmanuel (India)

"We wanted to give you an exciting update on our building and renovation project. By God’s grace and the generous support from many like you, we were able to purchase a plot of land partially adjacent to another property owned by the church.

After many months of our amazing team sacrificially working day and night (most of them being our church leaders and believers, as skilled workers were scarce and unavailable), completely giving their time, sleep and energy, the main worship hall was made ready enough to use. This Sunday, we were miraculously able to open the new sanctuary for Living God Church to corporately worship for the first time since the COVI-19 lockdown began in March! Although there were many safety measures and social distancing in practice, the house was full of joy and rejoicing.

We wanted to express our deepest thanks for the crucial part you and the church have played in seeing this come to pass - your hands have certainly been a part of this work along with us, encouraging, supporting, and praying for us. Please pass our gratitude to each and everyone on the team and in the congregation!"
