Ash Wednesday

Eternity in a Cappuccino

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a 40 day season of fasting, reflection, and remembrance before the Holy Week and resurrection of Jesus on Easter Sunday.

Join us this Sunday as we continue to meet online. Find our service at!

As a church we want to edify, support and encourage one another.

During COVID, one of the ways we can do this, as stated by the Provincial Health Officer, is going for a walk, and so the Outreach committee is inviting our congregation to meet outside together in order to pray for one another, our church, and our community. You can meet at the church building, outside your home, or at a park - you can pray together anywhere you can walk together!

If you are interested in participating in a prayer walk, please email [email protected] We will help to organize different pairings of people who can walk and prayer together. If you already have a walking partner from church let us know and we will include you in the prayer walking group.

Mission Central

In 2020, Missions Fest Vancouver, Canada's largest missions conference, attracted 9,000 visitors over two-days. We continue to build on this momentum and our 37-year legacy with the introduction of SERVE, with an expanded focus on discipleship and mission.

SERVE will open with a Youth event on the Friday night. Then, on Saturday and Sunday, we'll have over 90 mission agencies, 40 seminars taught by missional experts, bird-of-a-feather discussions, prayer sessions and worship and teaching in our General Sessions.

Mission Central (formerly Mission Fest Vancouver) is a catalyst to help people become mature missional disciples of Jesus.

We provide resources like articles, audio & seminars during the year, and the Mission Central Conference each January.

Visit this Sunday as we continue this sermon series on Isaiah 30:15 - "In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength."

2020 was a difficult year emotionally, spiritually, financially, and mentally. In spite of all the challenges we feel blessed to have been able to continue our financial support of several missions projects - the Langley Food Bank, the Houmphan's work in Thailand, and the Rocete's work in Tijuana - thanks to God's provision and the generosity of many.

How do rest and work fit together in our lives? Visit this Sunday to hear more from Pastor Jon!

Do you receive our emailed church newsletter? It contains updates on gathering and Zoom meetings as well as prayer requests and news from those in our community. It is a great tool to keep connected with our church community! Email the church office at [email protected] to be added to the list!

Come Thou Long Expected Jesus

Advent is the time when we remember the coming of Jesus, often in song. This Advent, we will be posting different songs that cause us to pause and reflect on Jesus' arrival. May this song stir in you an eager anticipation as Christmas approaches!

Luke 2:8-11 (NIV)

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
