Marriage and Divorce.

You have heard it said, "Whoever divorces his wife, gives her a certificate of legal separation. But I tell you whoever divorces his wife except for fornication, causes her to commit adultry; and whoever marries her commits adultery." Matthew 5:31-32.

The wife who is divorced because of her fornication is already living in sin.

The woman who is innocent of fornication in marriage and remarries sins and the one she marries commit sins.

Their sins are ever before them!

Note, divorce is just a legal separation from your spouse, you are still married to them in the sight of God.

Your vowes said, "Until death do us part." Not until divorce...!

The divorced person must remain faithful to God by keeping to themselves and avoiding committing acts of sexual sins.

Marriage is nothing to rush into. Get to know the person and be guided by God, not your pastor or a friend, but by God. They may assist, but the final word should be the Lord's.

You who are dating or pledged to be married, watch for tell tale signs and do not ignored them when you see them.

Remember marriage is a life long covenant between you, your spouse, and God.

The only way out of a marriage is by death of one of the spouses. But until then you must remain to yourself.

You who are looking for a wife, scripture encourages, "He who finds a wife,( not a knife), finds a good thing."

Every woman is not a wife. Every man is not a husband!

From the pastor's desk.
It is not what you think.
Just before the last eagle election the Lord spoke and told me to expect some things. He said many are going to rejoice for the change but rather they should weep. Many will say peace and safety, when they should be cautious.
We often look at things from face value but we seldom turn to God for our eyes to be opened to the truth.
The truth is, it is not what you think it is.
Turn to God for the truth.

From the pastor's desk.
The invasion.
I was in the spirit one day and saw a vision. In the vision I was on the Southern Shores of New Providence. I saw an invading arming from the far east came on land with weapons in hands. I swam out to sea for safety, while the invaders took the natives captive.
I made it back to shore and stayed under a boardwalk down town Nassau. Everyone I saw who was not in chains I called to safety in the water. We hid under the boardwalk in the sea. I looked for as many to save them but there were a heavy watch over the land.
This vision took place the same year Hilton was sold.

I was in the spirit on another day and had another vision. In the vision I was in the Midwest of New Providence more to the south. I was led to a bushy area where there were chanting in the woods. I stood in the way and there to my surprise came out of the woods two nations dressed in ritual clothing, praying to their ancestry gods. Praying for a successful takeover of the land and to start a new nation away form thier mother lands.
One nation was from the south and the other from the far east. I rebuked them and they scattered among the people. They live here to this day.

Gate keepers, watch over the city.

Don't give in.
Jesus was led by the Spirit to be tempted of the devil 40 days and 40 night.
Three of those temptations are recorded in scriptures.
Luke tells us that the devil was tempting Jesus for 40 days non stop.
After the 40 days the devil came with the three recorded temptations.
Each time Jesus replied with the Word.
Then the devil came with the twisted word.
Then Jesus rebuked the devil and he left Jesus for a season.
Yes, only for a season. The devil came back!
The devil is still tempting every day. He does not give up. Especially when it comes to the children of God.
Do not give in to the temptation.
Yielding is sin!
Rather resist the devil and he will leave.
Rebuke him in the name of the Lord.
It is a beautiful feeling when you know that you won each battle.
Remember God always gives us a way of escape.
Run like Joseph did from his master's wife.
If you live for the right, God will fight your battles.
Stay pure and don't give in.

Search Me!
The song writer wrote...
"Search me, Oh God, and know my heart today. Try me O Savior, know my thoughts, I pray. See if there be some wicked way in me. Cleanse me from every sin and set me free."
We all need a time out where we can do a self reflection.
In this time we need to evaluate our lives, to see whether we are right or wrong.
Some times we can not find where we are in the wrong, due to clouds in our eyes.
We must then ask God to search us. He can do that job without any bias opinions.
He knows if we are right. He knows when we are wrong. He knows whether we are right or wrong.
Then, we must ask Him to clense us from those wrongs, sins, transgressions, and iniquities.
Then God will set us free from those yokes that had us bound.
This is the key to our salvation...
Do not turn back to what God has liberated you from. Less greater condemnation fall upon you.
If you are free? Stay free!
What in hell, do you want?

From the pastor's desk.
Just leaves.
Jesus came to the fig tree expecting it to have at least one fruit on it but there were just leaves.
Jesus rebuked the tree because it had no fruits.
When leaving the town the disciples noticed that the same tree had died.
We are ment to be fruitful. To bring forth fruits in and out of season. In other words to be productive at all times.
Just like that tree some people look good on the out side from a distance and have much to say about everytging but they have no works.
Some people complain and point out corrections but never put their hands to the plow to actually do some work.
They are just leaves dangling in the wind. Making noise but are fruitless.
After a while those same leaves drop to the ground and wither away and is no more.
People live their lives just like that. After they die no one remembers them because they left no good work behind.
I tell you, do your best for the Lord and be fruitful each day. Do not be just a leaf.

From the pastor's desk.
Peter do you love me?
This question was asked to Peter three times by Jesus Christ. Why did Jesus asked Peter this question and why did Jesus asked it three times?
Let go back before Jesus was crucified. Peter denied Jesus three times and the last time Peter looked Jesus in the eye before running away.
No other disciple was there to witness this. It was just between Peter and Jesus.
After the reselection the other disciples were glad to know that Jesus was alive.
It sames like Peter who ran to the tomb wanted to know for sure that Jesus was alive to express his apologies to Him for denying Him during the trial.
Peter never had a personal time with Jesus to apologize. Judas killed himself before apologizing but Peter had hope one day to see Jesus again.
While the other disciples were glad to meet Jesus, Peter stepped back thinking to himself that he was not worthy of forgiveness nor worthy of Jesus' love.
Peter stepped back!
This bold Rock stepped back.
Jesus stepped forward and asked, "Peter do you love me?" Peter's final response was, "Lord you know!"
Then Jesus said, "Feed my sheep."
In life we do things that make us feel unworthy of God's love and forgiveness. People make us feel unworthy of God's love and forgiveness. But Jesus searches our hearts and He forgives us even when don't.
This is the Gospel of Redemption. Though we were sinners Christ died for us.
Do you Lord Jesus?

From the pastor's desk.
Everyone has a past. Some are still living in it.
Is it right to forget your past and remember someone else's?
No!
The same God that sunk your sins in the Sea of Forgetfulness, is the same God who can do it for others.
Forgive and forget!
Love one another and do good to them.
The same measure you give out you shall receive.
What heaven are we going to if we can not find it in our hearts to forgive?
You have heard it said, I don't even want to see or hear from them.
Really?!
Are they not your brother and sister in Christ?
Are they not the children that Christ died for?
How be it then that you turn your back on them when they needed you?
Oh, I say to you like Christ, 'What you do to your brother or sister you do unto the Lord God our Father.'
Get rid of the hate and bitterness. You stop calling and checking for your brothers and sisters in Christ. Start living right today and reconcile with them now before it is too late. Remember nothing but the righteous shall see God. You can't see God with hatred in your heart and bitterness in your soul. It is eating away of you and you cannot find any peace within. Stop! Correct this and do good.
Remember the hights from which you have fallen, repent and do your first work over.
For God so loved us all, He sent Christ to die for us. Yes, you and I.
Turn to the Lord and ask Him to make all things new unto you.
Turn time the Lord and ask Him to restore you.
Turn to the Lord and seek His help today.
Turn to the Lord and let Him lead you in the right way.
Remember the love of God.
