Tonight Our President hosted a round table discussion, allowing members to give their feedback on the past year since he would have relaunched the organization.

Their was much positive feedback concerning the relaunch, the organization, the topics we covered and the speakers who addressed are various meetings.

President Felix also took this opportunity tonight to say thank you, to each and every member, for their support over the last year, and express how grateful he was to have the opportunity to lead.

AYA meets every First and Second Thursday of the month and all Anglican Young Adults are encourage to attend between the ages of 18-35.

The Anglican Young Adults wishes to say a Huge Thank you to Kerel Pinder for a most lively and engaging presentation.

Kerel who is no stranger to going after her goals but ensuring that Christ is the center of every decision, kept her advise simple for the group but timely.

1. Make sure your Goal aligns with God

2. Plan but establish rituals/habits

3. Don’t tell small minded people about your goals.

Pinder encourage the group to use their time wisely, plan, stay away from dream killers and seek always to find additional ways to fulfill your purpose.

AYA is excited to welcome Kerel Pinder, who’s no stranger to going after her dreams and making them happen all based on her faith and relationship with GOD. A successful playwright and Author will Join us tonight at 6:30pm in Foster B Pestaina Center as we reconvene for our first meeting of 2020 as are speaker. Please, all are welcome to join us.

The Anglican Young Adults Group closed out the year with a Holiday Social at Agave in Port Lucaya.

AYA relaunched one year ago with the leadership of Felix Roy Bowe, Jr and this dynamic group of outstanding young adults enturned selected Felix to lead for the next year.

The membership of the organization is made up of the outstanding, young educated and talented cross section of the church’s young adults membership.

Each month the group meets and discuss topics that each member has faced personally, one that will build good character, challenges and how the overall organization can grow.

The main dynamics is that every member is tasked with leading one of the two (2) meeting each month as the group meets twice per month.

Spirituality is the main objective of the organization and giving back is also a form of Ministry to God for these outstanding young professionals.

President Felix presented each member with a gift and certificate of his appreciate for the support of this year under his presidency.

AYA Meeting for Thursday, May 23rd 2019 we had are assistant Curate, Rev Marie Roach-Hepburn visited us and offered some advice on ensuring we have an establish mission statement and overall objective for the organization.

Additionally Dillion Knowles was our guest speaker tonight. Mr. Knowels shared a Powerful but yet impactful presentation on “Prospering in spite of Difficult Times” Knowles shared powerful scriptures and real life stories that was great food for thought.

Anglican Young Adults Officers and Members joined in on the last Service of the Stations of the Cross at the Pro Cathedral of Christ the King Anglican Church.

The past forty days and forty nights have been a time spiritual uplifting, healing but most importantly reflection in our walk with Christ.

Young Anglican Adults also partook in the handing out of daily devotional pamphlets. As we draw a close on Holy Week as an organization we are grateful for Gods unmerited favor over our lives.

The Officers and members of the Anglican Young Adults (AYA) committed there Saturday to a day full of service. The Members volunteered at the Grand Bahama Children’s home “Annual Spring Bazar” in various capacities- grilling, sales, and other areas of the event. A huge thank you to our Community Services Director, Leroy Seymour for a great Job organizing our participation.

It was a very energized and competitive format for AYA meeting tonight, Thursday April 4th, 2019.

President Felix selected 1st Vice President Lyndsay Dawn Adderly to be the meeting leader for this months meeting. Lyndsay who did a dynamic and very innovative job in Bible jeopardy tonight.

Members of AYA were split into two groups where each groups knowledge was tested on how best they knew their bible.

It was a great evening indeed!
