The moon was not sighted in Australia tonight. Therefore, the first fast of Ramadaan will be on Saturday 25th April, as announced by CIQ, Sh Shabbir of the Moonsighting Australia and others.
So, the first Taraweeh will be tomorrow (ie Friday Night) before the first fast the next day.

Coronavirus Pandemic suppression measures including Social Distancing are still in place, as result we are not allowed by Uni to pray in Taraweeh for health and safety of everyone during the Pandemic. However, please remember to offer your Taraweeh prayer every night after Isha at hone with members of your family in the house. May Allah give us an Iman filled Ramadan with many good deeds, Ameen.

**No Friday Prayer at UQ This Week**
Due to the Coronavirus Covid-19 Pandemic, the measures being taken by the Federal Government, the PM & the University to tackle that, we are not able to do the Friday Prayer this week at UQ.
Please pray Dhuhr prayer at home, in office or elsewhere during Friday and please do not come to the Prayer Room at Jumuah Prayer time due to the current pandemic situation.
