Wonderful. Great job everybody. I particularly liked the way it ended with the screen focusing on the tree. It reminded me of the book about the tree used for Jesus’ crucifixion .
Good morning all our lovely friends at St Mary's Kangaroo Point. Looking forward to joining you all as we worship with Father Gary at our virtual church this morning. Jan an Jeff xx 🙏
Sharing a Painting of St Mary’s church, Kangaroo Point. Painting is by Heather Taylor. Purchased by my wife many years ago at a school fete as it is where we were married. We believe the artist has captured the church in beautiful detail.
STOP PRESS!!! The City of Brisbane Pipe Band (featuring 10 to 15 pipers/drummers) will be participating in a world-first global tribute at Saint Mary's Anglican Church, Kangaroo Point for its huge Poppies for St Mary's Centenary of Armistice Day Project event this coming Sunday (11/11/2018) at 1600h. The Band will be synchronising with pipers all over the United Kingdom who also will be playing "Battle's O'er", the traditional tune sounded at the end of a battle. The gesture - timed for 0600h (GMT), 100 years to the moment the Armistice was signed - honours the memory of all British Empire pipers and soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice in World War I. Do not miss this free, very historic, live performance! #stmaryspoppyproject #garlandmemorial #1ms #centenaryofarmistice
