~The Faith Switch~

Did you know that as you travel through life with Jesus there is a switch that you can flick? Or are you sitting, waiting for the heavenly Father to come along and rescue you?

Watch this video from Ps Lindsay for further understanding, then ask God if your faith switch is on ✔️ or off ❌

Now isn’t the time to stop. Keep going! You can do this! 💪

[03/26/20]   A message from Senior Pastor Lindsay:

“Hi everyone, trust you are keeping strong in these trying and difficult times. I just wanted to share a few things that were on my mind that can keep us strong.

1. Read your Bible daily (I started a “Read Your Bible through in a year”) it’s wonderful to anticipate God speaking to you each day.
2. Pray daily. Pick a time, perhaps with a friend or two by social media.
4. Fellowship via social media. Hebrews 10:25 says “Do not forsake the assembly of yourselves together, so much more as you see the day approaching”.

It’s a different day, but a new day nonetheless. Love one another and pray for one another.”

Our hearts desire is that our faith and love for one another would spread throughout our community faster and more efficiently than any virus! It is connection with each other and our God that keeps us strong.

Ways to stay connected:

- Follow us on social media
- Watch the weekly messages
- Subscribe to the podcast
- Tithe

The Apostolic Encourager

Vicki Simpson

Just been texting my friend @gemmatognini_ about this world-wide “virus-crisis”. .

Something she said went off in my spirit. . “God made it rain in Australia last month when the Bureau of Meteorology predicted there would be none before April. .

God made it rain - just like that! .
He has means and resources to turn this virus situation around that we can’t even imagine.”

And I felt the Holy Spirit say “Remember the Rain!”.
Remember the Rain people. .

There was intensified prayer for Australia during the bushfire crisis from all across the world. I even know atheists who were praying. .

And contrary to the experts and authorities, the rain came. .

Not just a trickle but in some areas, literally, a flood. .

As I remember the rain my faith rises.

So lets cry out to our God again!
Let’s rise in faith and not cower in fear and intimidation. Let’s drop to our knees, hit the carpet and pace the floor. .

Let’s remember Elijah who was human like us, yet his prayers affected the rain too. His prayers wrought unexpected change - change to things humans can’t change. .

Let’s believe that God can do the unexpected in the midst of a pandemic. .
That He can arrange a divine intervention, halt the onslaught and stop it in it’s tracks. .

Just like He intervened in the midst of bushfires He can intervene again. .

Let’s remember the rain and let’s pray! . “...for tremendous power is released through the passionate, heartfelt prayer of a godly believer!”
‭‭James 5:16‬ ‭TPT 🙋🏻‍♀️🔥🙏 .

All 3 of our Sunday services will take place tomorrow as normal. The INC movement has recommended that communion be withheld. Be encouraged that this doesn’t stop us from having communion at home.

We are taking every precaution to ensure the health and safety of our congregations. However, if you are unwell please stay home and listen to the podcasts when they are posted.

Let’s continue to pray for our world and let’s continue being better together.
