Acacia Ridge Presbyterian

Acacia Ridge is a vibrant and passionate Christ-centred community, followers of Jesus. We meet Sundays at 9,30am

Acacia Ridge Presbyterian Church is a community of believers who gather on the South side of Brisbane. The local Christian church is a place where love and acceptance is expressed, reflecting God’s unconditional love for His world. This is our aim. Our relationship with God and each other is only restored in Jesus Christ our Saviour and Lord. This is our message. We meet every Sunday for our Morning Services @ 9.30am

Mission: To GROW in Christ To EQUIP with Christ To SERVE like Christ To REACH people for Christ with the saving message of the Gospel of Jesus

[03/19/20]   COVID-19 - Church is closed
We have had to make the decision to close temporarily however, even though church is closed, the church community continues. You can head to the ARPC webpage for more information about what is happening. The website will have information about online access and there are also copies of previous sermons there that you can listen to.
Please look for ways to encourage and support each other at this time.

Hi folks, we began to say farewell to the Hays last Sunday - please don't forget to write on their card at the back of the church and pray for them as they make their move to Grenfell in NSW. In case you missed it, as a gift from ARPC, we're contributing to their puppy fund when they get settled there. If you'd like to contribute also, just let me know.

This Sunday please join us for Steve's Licensing and their last day at ARPC. There will be cake at morning tea.

Desiring God

This weekend marks fifty years since the diving accident that left Joni Eareckson Tada with quadriplegia. Fifty years of relying on others to meet her physical needs. Fifty years of pressing on in the midst of weakness, fatigue, and pain. Fifty years of trusting God and counting it all joy, even when it has not felt joyful.

Six Wrong Reasons to Check Your Phone in the Morning

How does your morning go?
"We are to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength when we wake up in the morning. And we are to prepare ourselves to love our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 22:37–40)." Whatever we focus on in the morning shapes our entire day. Here are six reasons not to check your phone before checking in with God.

Desiring God

John Piper’s advice for young people wanting to study the Bible for themselves:

Read through the whole.
Go deep in a small section.
Invest in a study Bible.
Pray, pray, pray.
