During this time of isolation, it could be a great opportunity for you to take some time out with God and ask the question, Where are you going? Talk with Him about your future, how is he asking you to follow Him?

Evangelisation Brisbane

Powerful message worth experiencing from Deacon Peter Pellicaan, Director of Evangelisation Brisbane.

Have you ever had moments of doubt? Ever questioned whether Jesus is who he says he is? In today’s Gospel Encounter we discover from ‘doubting Thomas’ how we can respond to moments of doubt...

Doing the small things with great love is an amazing blessing.

Thank you to everyone who has shared their small blessings. Over the Easter weekend people experienced many wonderful blessings. During times like these it really is the little things that can make a huge difference.

You can share the small blessings you have given, or received, at https://bit.ly/3abMZeR

Today we are given the joyful message that we are a “Resurrection people”. This means that we are not supposed to live our life buried in the tomb of our sins, bad habits and dangerous addictions. We are called to live a life of holiness, which is our ultimate vocation. We are given the gift to live a joyful life, constantly experiencing the presence of the Risen Lord in all the events of our lives and to share that joy; our vocation with others.

Today I kneel in silent adoration of You, my God.
I sit quietly, beholding the great mystery of our faith.
I behold God, beaten, bruised, mocked, tortured and killed.
But in this act, I see all grace and mercy flowing from Your wounded heart.
Cover the world in Your Mercy, dear Lord.
Cover us with Your grace and draw us to new life through Your death.
I love You, dear Lord. I love You with all my heart.
Jesus, I trust in You.

On Holy Thursday, we celebrate three anniversaries: The anniversary of the First Mass, the anniversary of the Institution of Ministerial Priesthood and the anniversary of Jesus giving a new commandment of love: “Love one another as I have loved you” (Jn13:34)

In this difficult time join us in praying this prayer written by our Archbishop Mark Coleridge.

"May it be done to me according to your word."
Mary's Yes changed the world. Are we ready to say Yes to God too? Let's call on Mary for her intercession, especially in difficult times, help us be attentive to God's calling and to be ready to say Yes.

I pray that this is one of many blessings that will come from all of the suffering! Let us continue to pray for men and women to say YES to God’s call.
